"Did you break through?"
Azael grinned widely. "Of course I did."
"When?" she asked, her eyes going wide.
"Last night. Aren't I amazing?"
Her eyes glistened. She pulled him into a hug without warning, pressing his face against her massive breasts.
Once again he found himself buried against softness, breathing in the faint sweet scent of her skin mixed with the warmth of her sweat from training.
It was a little hard to think straight.
"Oh my goodness, I can't believe it!" she said, stroking the back of his head. "You broke through to red core already? I thought it would take at least another month before you got there."
A few knights were present in the hall. They collectively decided to mind their own business and focus on their training.
Eventually she let go of him and stepped back, looking him over with a satisfied expression.
"Good boy." She smiled warmly. "This means things will be easier for you at the academy. I don't have to worry as much about you now."
