Joji knew the cave might be hiding clues tied to the Sir Honorable Mission.
He glanced at the kobolds and trolls with him and made his choice at once. He had no wish to see them injured here. Their better use was in scouting and tracking. This part was better done alone.
"I'll enter the cave by myself. You all stay here," Joji said.
"Hey, big bro, you sure you can solo that cave?" Rizz asked.
Joji gave a short nod. Five days was too little time. He needed to earn at least a rating before then, or ten points would be stripped from every one of his attributes.
He rushed into the cave without another word, drawing on Shadow and Lightness of the Wind to blur his outline until he seemed less like a knight and more like an assassin cut loose in the dark.
