Chapter 15 - Yuki vs Outer God of Time

Nyxathor and Yuki had stood across from each other. Yuki with his katana, Divine Extermination, and Nyxathor with just time manipulation.

Nyxathor: You have the Abyssal Energy... or also known as Nihility Energy. The most powerful energy to wield. That "Divine Extermination" katana is classified as an Omega-Level weapon.

His thoughts roamed in his head as Yuki charged towards him with the katana, but Nyxathor had swiftly dodged. His movements were as swift like river. It had looked like he's dancing around him.

As he summoned out large light-beams towards Yuki, he immediately used his blade to block the attack as the magic vanishes, but the impact had sent him flying.

Yuki: Light Manipulation? No... it's not any ordinary light... it's Divine Light...!

In that moment, he realized that his light-based attacks weren't just normal attacks, but divine light that tends to move much faster than normal light.

Nyxathor: You blocked divine light...? You're so troublesome..

Yuki: Don't expect me to die...

Nyxathor chuckled as he summoned out more magical circles, but it was all around him causing a light-based barrier to be formed.

Yuki glanced around as he was surrounded, seeing no gaps to escape from.

Nyxathor: The Heaven's skies and the Earth's ground. One shall bind each other to the center of the eternal abyss. The wall between Life and Death collapsed.

Yuki hears the ritual chant as he could do nothing in this situation. To him, he knew he couldn't die, although, he can't escape from this attack.

Yuki: The hell...? Is this a ritual? No... he's going to bring out a damn blast that could annihilate everything.

Nyxathor: Nonexistence shall be erased by eternal light as Existence shall be erased by eternal darkness.

His hand movements finishes as he inhaled and exhaled deeply.

Nyxathor: Final Annihilation.

His final attack was announced as the omnidirectional magical circles had been released, causing dust to build up which then evaporated Yuki into nothingness.

His perfect immortality kicked in, then he had regenerated behind him. Nyxathor glanced behind him and dodged, but a small horizontal cut appeared on his non-physical body.

Nyxathor: My regeneration! It's not... working?! I'm immortal on such a degree that I'm not allowed to die as long as the other Outer Gods exist!

Mid thought, Yuki charged towards him and decapitated him with his katana cleanly as his body collapsed.

Nyxathor: How did he kill me? His katana, Divine Extermination, had bypassed my immortality completely. I can confirm that, but how...

Yuki: There's more Outer Gods in the world... correct? The link between you and the others has been erased. In fact... you're the weakest Outer God to exist, am I wrong?

His cold and emotionless tone had sent shivered down his spine while his soul had vanished completely.

Nyxathor: I hate you...

His voice then disappeared as Yuki left the body and sheathed his katana. In that moment, he felt no remorse or emotion from it. He didn't feel like it was revenge nor did he feel happy about it.

He was silent. He felt nothing as his turmoil of all the pain and sorrow he endured ate him up completely.

During that moment as Yuki aimlessly roamed around, an organization known as the Eidolon Syndicate had been built up full of specialized fighters and hunters.

It was mainly known as a Mafia group that was ran by Lillian Noctra, a female manager and commander who takes clients and offers from others via calls.

She sat at her desk, cross-legged, while sorting through papers. Her gorgeous long white-gray-ish hair swayed around as she moves a bit with her crimson-colored eyes pierces through the air.

Her suit was a three piece suit with a tie, buttoned up black coat, black pants and dress shoes.

In that moment, she had her computer up, and had Yuki pulled up.

Lillian: Yuki Fujita... fifteen years old, and a rookie in fighting, but is powered by the Nihility Energy... and standing at five foot eight

She murmurs as her smirk widened. She had a thought about Yuki as a member of the Eidolon Syndicate came in to drop off papers before leaving.

Lillian: I'll hire and recruit him. He seem strong considering his weapon could possibly annihilate everything.

She confidently examined his biography and other information. The more information she skims through, the more she becomes interested.

A guard came in with a katana on his hip and glanced at Lillian.

Guard: Mrs. Lillian, I got ya coffee.

Lillian: Thank you, also I have a request.

The guard looked at her with a curious expression as he stood there in front of her desk.

Guard: What is it miss?

Lillian: Go find Yuki Fujita, it's... a recruitment alright?

Guard: Yes ma'am.

The guard leaves as Lillian stayed seated on her chair. She stood up and left her office while other hunters were discussing and some were out on missions.

Yuki had kept walking through the woods and stopped by a waterfall then sat down. He sat there, analyzing the water as he took a break.

Yuki: I need to start planning on my next move... find out everything, including the truth..

His thoughts were calm as he stared at the waterfall. The waterfall was beautiful as he sat still, until bushes rustled grabbing his attention.

Yuki: Hm....?

Then came out a traveler with a bag full of items used for fights and breaks.

Yuki: Who are you....?

The person glanced over at Yuki but stayed silent and walked away from the waterfall. His footsteps were silent, but he could sense the presence of the traveler.

Yuki: Mana at such a high level, and for the way he's dressed... he's a low level mage. Usually low level mages don't have that much mana as they're in training, but.... this guy has a large amount of mana, nearly infinite even.

The traveler had suddenly vanished like mist and Yuki's eyes widened a bit then sighed. He stood up and went to find the unknown traveler.

As he sensed the small mana particles that are being left off from the traveler, he started following the little particles of mana which led him to walking in a straight line.

This path had led him to an abandoned village.

Yuki: ...This traveler is mysterious.. I can see it had no physical form of appearance. Being an Outer God means being the embodiment of that said concept... right? So maybe this is the same.

He had thoughts about it as he kept walking, which lead him into running an abandoned apartment complex. He noticed how abandoned it looked through the texture and the vibe of the place.

It was eerie as he walked up the stairs and as he reached the room on the second floor, he kicked down the door.

That moment when he stepped foot inside, a vase was thrown at him as he dodged with ease.

Yuki: What the hell...?

A spiritual body had slowly faded in into his vision of sight. He sighed with dead, lifeless and emotionless eyes.

It had a different appearance than the traveler appearance it had earlier.

Yuki: Who are you really....

There was silence into a slight voice echoed through the area.

???: Somebody who will kill you and will haunt you for eternity.

His voice echoes through the abandoned the room and the apartment complex. It was like it was part of another higher plane of existence.

Yuki had started getting a slight headache, but ignored it completely. The spiritual body of somebody else had floated across from him. It faded away, then appeared behind Yuki.

He turned around and saw the spiritual body and sighed deeply.

Yuki: I'll kill you before you haunt and kill me...

He started unsheathing his katana slowly as the spirit had chuckled while floating across from him. Yuki had swung his katana once, the shockwave spread around the entire apartment complex, which causes destruction to everything including the parking lot.

The spirit faded away like it wasn't there. In his eyes, he had killed the spirit, and there were sudden blood splatters around the area and on the floor.

Yuki: Blood....? I thought this was an abandoned apartment complex... was there anybody here with me?

He questioned it as he gently slaps his cheeks, but then the blood splatters were gone. They were never there. His eyes widened a bit with emotionless eyes as he sheaths his katana.

Yuki: The hell....? But... there were blood in the apartment complex...

He knew he was already unstable as he is, but it wasn't exhaustion that was catching up due to years of lack of sleep. It was somethin else that is affecting him mentally and emotionally.

He finally sheathed his katana as he put his hand on his forehead checking for any fevers or symptoms of sickness. His temperature was normal. In fact, everything was normal but his mentality and emotionality.

It was hallucinations that he was seeing. Everything he saw, the blood, the spirit was in his mind. The trauma built up so heavily that he was seeing things, going into insanity.
