Chapter 50 The Phantom is Back

Krishna fell into darkness.

Not peaceful darkness…

A heavy, suffocating void.

In that void, pills floated before him.

Golden. Green. Radiating faint energy.

But he didn't just see them.

He saw memories.

Blood.

Screams.

Battles.

Himself… killing countless people just to obtain those same pills.

Krishna's expression darkened.

"All this… just to throw them away," he muttered.

A faint regret surfaced.

He remembered an old man.

A dying man.

"You will regret this one day…" the voice echoed.

"There will come a time when you are desperate… and the things you called trash will save your life."

Krishna closed his eyes.

"That day… has come."

For a moment, silence.

A rare feeling touched his heart.

Regret.

But it didn't last long.

He had seen too much blood… too many deaths…

This wasn't enough to shake him deeply.

Still…

"Every action has a result…" he thought calmly.

Then another thought came.

"My daughter…"

He frowned slightly.

"She doesn't know how to use them… it will take time…"

Just then—

A golden light pierced the darkness.

It pulled him out.

Krishna's eyes snapped open.

Reality returned.

He saw his daughter right in front of him.

She was struggling with a bottle.

"Papa! Eat! Eat! Eat!"

Before he could react—

She stuffed a handful of pills into his mouth.

Krishna choked.

"W–wait—!"

He pushed her slightly.

"I can't eat that many—"

But it was already too late.

The pills dissolved instantly.

A violent surge of energy spread through his body.

At first—

Pain.

Then—

Healing.

The damage caused by Dark Force started disappearing rapidly.

Krishna froze.

"This…"

He realized something.

"If she didn't do this…"

"My body would have collapsed."

He exhaled slowly.

"That reckless action… saved me."

He looked around.

Pills were scattered everywhere.

The box his daughter brought was massive.

But what seemed like hundreds…

Were actually thousands.

Each bottle contained a thousand pills.

And there were dozens of bottles.

Krishna smiled faintly.

"For now… this is enough."

He turned toward his daughter.

Gently, he pinched her cheeks.

Then he noticed it.

The cut on her leg.

His eyes sharpened.

"Does it hurt?" he asked.

She smiled brightly.

"No! I helped daddy!"

Krishna paused.

Then took one pill.

He handed it to her.

"Eat this," he said softly.

"Our energy will flow inside you… you might feel strange. Don't be scared."

She nodded and swallowed it without hesitation.

The moment she did—

Something changed.

Energy surged inside her body.

But it wasn't cultivation energy.

It was… different.

Krishna frowned.

"What is this?"

He observed carefully.

"That's not spiritual energy… not divine… not anything I know…"

But he didn't dwell on it.

"Later," he thought.

Right now… survival came first.

Krishna began consuming the pills steadily.

Not recklessly this time.

Carefully.

Controlling the flow.

The overwhelming energy repaired his internal damage completely.

But he quickly realized a limitation.

"These pills…"

"They can restore my body temporarily."

"I can move… but only for about an hour."

After that… he would need more.

Krishna looked at the pile again.

A small smirk appeared.

"Good enough."

Slowly…

He placed his hands on the wheelchair.

Pushed himself up.

For the first time—

He stood.

His legs trembled slightly.

But they held.

Krishna took a step forward.

Then another.

His daughter watched with wide, shining eyes.

"Papa… you're standing!"

Krishna looked down at himself.

Then forward.

His eyes turned cold.

Focused.

Dangerous.

"The real problem…" he thought.

"Isn't my body."

"It's them."

Mother-in-law.

Father-in-law.

Vijay.

A faint smile appeared.

"First… I'll make them regret…"

"Then I'll decide what to do."

He took another step.

His presence changed completely.

No longer weak.

No longer harmless.

Something ancient… returned.

Krishna whispered to himself—

"The Phantom…"

"…is back."
