Evangeline called his name in a lazy, dripping voice that was pure temptation.
Silver looked down at her, instantly captivated. "At your command, My Queen."
"Come closer." She stretched her arms out to him.
Without a moment's hesitation, he closed the gap between them, the mattress yielding beneath his weight as he sank over her. The instant he was within arm's length, her warm palms came to rest against the firm expanse of his chest. Slowly, agonizingly, her fingertips glided down his skin, tracing the rigid contours of his ribs before hovering dangerously close to his lower abdomen, right at the waistband of his trousers.
A sharp intake of air hitched in his throat. "Ah… Ev, this…"
Leaning in until her warm breath brushed the sensitive skin behind his ear, she whispered with a wicked little smile, "What? Did a simple touch really affect you this much?"
