"Mia this is not love but control".Janice said softly. Mia's lips trembled."I blocked him,I changed my number. But he keeps finding ways. Yesterday,his cousin waited for me outside the school".
Janice's hands tightened into fists. Ian's face flash in her mind. What if something like this ever happened to her? What if love turned into fear?
"We're telling the school counselor ",Janice said firmly.
Mia shook her head"No. I don't want drama".
"You already have drama ".Janice replied softly. "You deserve peace".
Later that day,word started spreading.
Students whispered in corners. Some said Mia was exaggerating. Others said her ex was just "heartbroken".
Janice had enough.
During lunch break,she saw him- leaning against the school gate like he owned it. His eyes scanned the crowd until they landed on Mia.
Janice stepped in front of her friend.
"You need to leave her alone ".
He smirked." This isn't your business ".
"It became my business when she started crying ".
Students began to gather.

"I don't love you anymore ".she said,her voice shaking but strong ."stop following me".
