"Ngggghhhhhh-" Echo grumbles as she rolls around on the grass outside the tracks. She wants to run. Her legs feel itchy without running, and yet both Symboli Rudolf and Kazuo had forbidden her to run for a day. They say that she needs to rest for a day.
"But I want to runnnn… Can't I just do a very light jog?" She turned and lay down on her back, facing the sky. She just lay there, unmoving for a long time, before a shadow appeared over her face.
"Oh? What's the Second Eclipse doing here?" Mr C.B. chuckles as she leans over the 'dead' Echo Eclipse. "The sky is cloudy, and the air is a bit cold. You might get sick if you continue being dead out here"
"Mr C.B… Today, my break and I want to ruuuunnnnn-" She whined and started rolling around in the grass. She wants to move her legs, run, jog, sprint, dash, and more! But she doesn't want to upset Rudolf and trainer Kazuo for not taking a break. Her tail is thrashing around in annoyance.
"Oh dear, nothing I can do about this, I'm afraid." Mr C.B. chuckles before sitting beside the rotating Echo. 'Though this can easily be fixed if her attention was taken away, but since she is bored, she must be wanting to run.' She thought for a moment before parting her lips to speak to her.
"How's Rudolf doing?" She said while adjusting her white hat. Echo Eclipse sat up while grumbling in annoyance.
"She just finished her morning routine in front of my face, and is currently helping the student president…" Echo spat out the words "In front" as if Rudolf intentionally dangled a carrot in front of her and teased her for being unable to eat the carrot. Making her very salty.
"With Maruzensky I see…"
"Who?"
"Ah, that's the student president, you must've seen her running beside Symboli Rudolf during Rudolf training."
"Ah! The busty brunette with long curly hair that's tied up!" Echo exclaimed in realisation, and the words she spoke almost made the free-spirited, fun-seeking Mr C.B. fall in shock.
"That's… an accurate description of her appearance, I say… But please do not say it so bluntly next time," she pleaded with a wistful expression, of which Echo Eclipse naively nodded, before plopping back down onto the grass and began rolling around once again.
"I'll be going now~" Mr C.B. hummed as she waved at the gyroball that is named "Echo Eclipse," before walking away. A thought came to her mind, and her tail swayed in amusement.
"Nggghhhhhhhhh…" She can hear Echo's whine in the background.
'It wouldn't hurt to be a matchmaker for those two, wouldn't it?'
"Hehe…"

"Pres, I finished this portion of the paperwork. Please check it over to verify that there is no mistake." Symboli Rudolf said calmly and diligently as she placed a tower of papers on the table. Maruzensky looked up from the paperwork she was doing and sighed with a defeated expression.
Ever since she took up the position that was offered to her by the director, as an apology for the URA that forbade her from racing in the G1 races and made her ineligible for the triple crown race because she was born outside Japan, she has been stuck doing paperwork and travelling around for official business.
She misses being free from the responsibility and racing with others. Luckily, Symboli Rudolf appeared, making her job much easier.
'Definitely going to make her a student president after she retires.' She thought while nodding, and quickly snapped out of her thought before verifying the finished paperwork.
"That's all for you, Rudolf. You can leave now," Maruzensky smiled gently like a big sister as she gestured for her to leave. Symboli Rudolf naturally didn't disrespect the student president and turned around; however, the moment she took a step forward, the door just opened without any knocking. Mr C.B. walked in while humming.
"Hey Rudolf~ Hey Maruzensky~"
Rudolf stared at Mr C.B. with a slight frown before easing her expression. This clearly wasn't the first time Mr C.B. had done this, and this was the reason she had gotten to know Mr C.B. early on.
"I'll be leaving." She made sure that her words were precise and punctual before walking by Mr C.B., but clearly Mr C.B. has other plans.
Mr C.B. just stepped to the side, standing in front of Symboli Rudolf with a wide grin. Symboli Rudolf already assumed that she was going to try messing with her and refused to let her.
Just as she was about to open her mouth to say something, Mr C.B. beat her to it.
"How cruel of you~" She put on a sad expression and did a mock sobbing gesture, but her tone clearly had a hint of teasing in it.
"What in the three goddesses are you on about?" Symboli Rudolf naturally furrowed her brows, and the person in front of her naturally replied.
"Poor Echo Eclipse~" Just the name of Echo Eclipse immediately made Rudolf freeze before glaring at her, and Mr C.B. responded to the glare with a grin.
"She's incredibly bored, you know. The only way for her to stop the boredom is to run, but since today is her break day, she is trying her best not to run."
"..."
"This is easily fixed, you know, just direct her boredom into another thing, try to make her forget about it." Mr C.B. said gently and softly, and Symboli Rudolf let her gaze sink to the ground. Taking this advantage, Mr C.B. winked at Maruzensky, who was watching in amusement, and mouthed her words in silence.
"Help me convince her to take Echo Eclipse out on a date."
Maruzensky stared in surprise at the fact that Mr C.B. is intentionally becoming a matchmaker, but letting out a quiet exhale, nodded.
"You could've been at her side, easing her boredom away, yet here you are prioritising your work over our dear Echo Eclipse~" Mr C.B. continues pricking Rudolf's heart with her words.
"She doesn't belong to anyone-"
"Of course she doesn't, but she's very lonely out there and hasn't eaten anything."
"..."
Seeing that her words are affecting Symboli Rudolf, Mr C.B. took a step back to give Rudolf some space to think in peace. Maruzensky took this chance to say a word in.
"Don't worry about the work right now; this is the duty of the senior." She chuckled before leaning back into her chair, pulling out two tickets and placing them on the table, attracting both Mr C.B. and Symboli Rudolf's attention.
"Here's the 50% discount for the Yakisoba restaurant near this school. Go ahead and spend some time with that girl. Food always tastes better with 'friends'."
Mr C.B. was surprised that Maruzensky had a discount ticket for a restaurant, and she had already come to the conclusion that Maruzensky must have received while she was on her food tour during her break as a student president.
"What are you both planning?" Symboli Rudolf already assumed that both of them are planning for something, but cannot prove it.
"Accusing us? Ouch!" Mr C.B. put her hands up with a 'hurt' expression, "I was really concerned about Echo Eclipse, who is pretending to be dead out on the grass field."
"She's what?" Rudolf didn't waste any time, taking the tickets and leaving the office in a hurry, leaving behind both Maruzensky and Mr C.B.
"So all I have to do is mention Echo Eclipse's current situation?" She immediately started grinning as it felt like she grasped onto Symboli Rudolf's weakness.
Maruzensky chuckled before resuming her work as the student president.
"I'll be going now~"
"Be a dear and come help me."
"Yes, Maru~"
