"What are these things?" Professor Snape frowned, looking at the small board with a red button, five small silver spheres, and something resembling a tie clip in Amanda's hand.
"This is a remote control," Amanda said expressionlessly, pointing to the small board in her hand with her other finger. "After Voldemort is resurrected, once Professor Snape breaks free from the Binding Curse, he can press this button. I have placed explosives at the location where Voldemort will be resurrected; they will detonate at that moment."
Professor Snape, who grew up in the Muggle World and knew what explosives were, had his pupils contract sharply. He seemed to want to say something.
Before he could speak, Amanda continued in a flat tone, "The amount of explosives I placed will only injure Voldemort, not kill him."
After a two-second pause, Professor Snape nodded slowly, took the remote control from Amanda's hand, and then nodded slightly, signaling her to continue explaining the remaining items.
"These five spheres are fully automatic laser attack weapons. They will activate automatically after Voldemort is resurrected to attack him, ensuring he has no spare capacity to fight back, and guaranteeing Professor Snape's safe return."
Professor Snape looked at the five small spheres in Amanda's hand, and the corner of his mouth couldn't help but twitch. He couldn't help but think... with this girl around, it really didn't matter who went on this trip.
If he had known, he would have let Dumbledore go himself; at least he could have stayed in his office to look after his Potion.
"Fine, thank you."
After replying in a hollow, low voice, Professor Snape reached out and took the five small spheres from Amanda's hand, putting them into the pocket of his wizard robe along with the remote control from earlier.
Glancing at the last item in her hand, Amanda pursed her lips, her voice remaining flat and emotionless.
"This is a tie-clip style micro-camera. If Professor Snape wears it, we can see the scene of Voldemort's resurrection in real-time."
"I didn't expect you, Miss Amanda, to be so… curious about Voldemort's resurrection."
Professor Snape drawled, finishing the sentence with his unique cadence, but his hand didn't pause. He directly took the tie clip from Amanda's hand and attached it to the collar of his wizard robe.
"I hope that while satisfying your curiosity," Professor Snape looked into Amanda's semi-hollow eyes, "Miss Amanda will also be able to discover something."
As he spoke, he glanced at Harry, who was standing nearby, curiously watching the proceedings, and then walked out of the room without hesitation.
Well, he wasn't expecting this Potter boy to discover anything anyway.
A few minutes after Professor Snape left, Hermione, Cho Chang, Marietta Eckmore, Penelope, and Ron cautiously ran into the room.
"No one noticed, right?" Amanda asked, accepting Hermione's hug, her voice devoid of fluctuation.
"Don't worry, no one did," Hermione pecked the corner of Amanda's lips and said with a smile.
"Mm."
Amanda's cheeks flushed slightly. She took a small camera out of her wizard robe pocket, placed it on the table nearby, and turned it on.
The next moment, what appeared before the seven children was the giant maze that Professor Snape, disguised as Harry, was facing.
"Good evening, everyone! Welcome to the final task of the Triwizard Tournament!"
Ludo Bagman's voice resounded across the entire arena, followed by a bunch of standard pleasantries. Professor Snape slowly shifted his gaze to him, his gloomy eyes filled with impatience.
Why did this guy talk so much? Wouldn't it be better to just start already?
Looking down at the "Harry" beside him, Cedric felt a subtle sensation in his heart. Why did he feel... that today's Harry didn't look like Harry, but rather gave him a sense of déjà vu?
It was as if, as if... Professor Snape?!
Through the image transmitted by the tie-clip micro-camera, Amanda looked at Cedric's trembling pupils and spoke with certainty.
"Senior Cedric has realized that this Harry is not right."
"I think so too." Harry raised his hand and covered his eyes helplessly. The Professor Snape version of him really didn't look like him at all, in terms of state and temperament.
"Cedric is a smart person; it doesn't matter if he figured it out." Penelope shrugged on the side, implying that it was unlikely he would say anything.
Sure enough, just after Cedric looked at Professor Snape and showed a suspicious expression, Professor Snape slowly turned his head to look at him.
With just one glance, Cedric found the shadow of Professor Snape in those eyes. He gasped and immediately clamped his mouth shut.
It really was Professor Snape! That look couldn't be wrong, absolutely not!
Only Professor Snape would have that look, so why was he here? Was he helping Harry cheat? Impossible, neither Harry nor Professor Snape were the type of people to do such a thing.
Then the only explanation was that they had some plan for this task, and this plan... couldn't let others know. So, he just had to pretend he didn't know!
Thinking of this, Cedric offered a slightly nervous smile, nodded at Professor Snape, and quickly turned his head back.
Watching Cedric, who hadn't said anything and had turned his head away at lightning speed, Professor Snape nodded with satisfaction.
This kid was still quite smart, much smarter than that brat from the Potter family.
Following a long segment of pleasantries and advertisements, Ludo Bagman loudly announced the start of the match. At this moment, Marietta Eckmore, who was watching the video in the room, turned to look at Amanda curiously.
"Isn't the Triwizard Tournament a competition jointly held by three magic schools? Why are there advertisers?"
Amanda blinked, her voice flat and waveless. "The third task requires too many types of magical creatures, and involves some precious species. If Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons bore the full cost, the expenses would be too high, so some sponsorship from advertisers is needed."
"I see." Marietta Eckmore nodded knowingly and turned to watch the projection, which had changed to the scene inside the maze.
In the following process, the seven Young Wizards got to enjoy the true skills of their Potion Class Professor.
Various blocking spells and magical creatures in the way were solved with a light wave of his wand.
Watching Professor Snape's "slaughtering the four directions" performance, Ron couldn't help but click his tongue. "I didn't expect Professor Snape to be so powerful..."
Hermione rolled her eyes at him helplessly. "Ron, Professor Snape is, after all, a Professor at Hogwarts. His strength is certainly guaranteed."
So far, among the Hogwarts Professors, there was only one real incompetent: Gilderoy Lockhart.
Amanda looked at the projection with a calm gaze. It took less than two minutes for Professor Snape to arrive at the center of the maze and see the trophy.
To ensure his speed was more reasonable, Professor Snape didn't rush to take the trophy, but stood there with his arms crossed, waiting quietly.
It wasn't until nearly ten minutes later that Cedric ran toward the location of the trophy and Professor Snape, waving his wand backward. Behind him, a not-so-small Acromantula was chasing him crazily.
Looking at the Acromantula behind Cedric, Professor Snape frowned obscurely. They actually brought an Acromantula into the competition? Dumbledore and the others had too much confidence in these little monsters.
Tightening his grip on his wand slightly, Professor Snape only slowly loosened his clenched hand after seeing with his own eyes that Cedric had stunned the Acromantula with several Stupefy spells.
Panting, Cedric climbed up from the ground and looked at Professor Snape uncertainly, asking, "Pro, Professor Snape?"
"It is Professor Snape, Mr. Cedric."
Professor Snape drawled, then, to Cedric's shock, pulled a trophy out from his wizard robe and tossed it to him.
Cedric hurriedly caught the trophy and looked at Professor Snape, confused.
"Take the trophy and end the match, Mr. Cedric. I don't think I need to teach you how to do that, do I?"
After Professor Snape finished speaking, he reached for the other trophy placed on the pedestal behind him, and then, in Cedric's even more shocked gaze, vanished from the spot.
Opening his mouth in vain, Cedric silently hugged the trophy in his arms. So... Professor Snape and Harry and the others really had some special plan.
After all, he had never heard that the final trophy was a portkey.
However, looking down at the trophy in his arms, he could consider himself the champion, right? Thinking this, Cedric drew his wand and sent a signal into the sky.
While Cedric was sending a signal to the sky, Amanda turned to look at Harry with a serious expression, her voice mechanical. "Harry, you need to watch everything Professor Snape experiences carefully. Every scene, every detail. You need to be like you experienced it yourself; your speech during the summer vacation will use it."
"I understand." Harry nodded solemnly and looked at the projection with a serious gaze, preparing to imprint everything that followed into his brain.
As the dizziness from the portkey faded, Professor Snape pretended to fall to the ground in a sorry state. The next moment, a cold and weird voice came. "Grab him, Wormtail."
Hearing the name Wormtail, Harry immediately frowned. This traitor who betrayed his parents.
The others also looked at the picture on the projection with unpleasant expressions.
Amanda looked calmly at Pettigrew, who was walking out carrying something, watching him tie Professor Snape to the tombstone behind him with a Binding Curse.
Then she silently counted his steps, calculating his stride based on Pettigrew's height and leg length in the projection.
One step, two steps... When Pettigrew stopped and conjured a large cauldron that was boiling something, the place where he stopped was exactly the place Amanda had predicted they would stop. Right below them was the remote-controlled explosive.
Just right. Amanda nodded slowly, then watched Pettigrew break open the grave of Voldemort's father to take the bone, take Harry's blood from Professor Snape's arm, and finally contribute his own arm.
"Ugh... although I expected it to be disgusting, I really didn't expect it to be this disgusting."
Cho Chang showed a look of deep disgust, rubbing her arms as she watched the bubbling Potion in the cauldron.
"Indeed," Ron echoed from the other side, his face pale. "I feel like I'm about to throw up."
Harry, who had been focusing intently on the projected image to memorize every detail, turned his head sharply and looked at him warily.
"Hold it in, Ron! I'm still next to you!"
Before everyone could say more, Pettigrew loosened his hand, and the white, wrinkled Voldemort, looking like a little monster, was thrown into the cauldron by him.
"I hope he drowns." Harry turned his head back to look at the projection and said viciously. Of course, knowing about the Horcrux now, he understood that this thought of his wouldn't come true.
"That is the wish of all of us." Hermione pursed her lips tightly. If she could, she really hoped Voldemort would just die like that.
Watching Voldemort being thrown into the cauldron, Amanda nodded secretly. Professor Snape's mission was complete; next was the evacuation.
Obviously, Professor Snape himself thought so too. He easily used wandless magic to cut the rope, but didn't rush to break free, instead leaning quietly against the tombstone, waiting for Voldemort to come out of the cauldron.
Before long, Voldemort walked out of the cauldron slowly, a thick mist obscuring him, which made the seven Young Wizards watching the projection breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thank Merlin for this mist." Penelope pressed her hands together; otherwise, she really wouldn't have been able to help throwing up.
"It's just that I don't know... if Professor Snape on the scene can have this mist hide the screen for him." Ron added faintly.
"Please, Ron!" Hermione gritted her teeth and looked at him angrily. "Don't make us think about those disgusting things."
"Ah..." Voldemort took the clothes handed over by Pettigrew, put them on, raised his head, and let out a long breath, then looked at Professor Snape. "Harry Potter, I..."
Before the sentence "I finally see you" was finished, Professor Snape quickly broke free from the already severed rope, took out the remote control from his wizard robe pocket, and pressed it. The whole process was smooth and without any hesitation; Voldemort and Pettigrew couldn't react in time.
And the second after he pressed the remote control, Boom! Bang!
A violent explosion erupted from under the feet of Voldemort and Pettigrew. The cauldron shattered instantly. Voldemort roared madly. Although the sudden explosion was blocked by him for most of its power, he was still injured in the leg by the initial explosion, and Pettigrew next to him was even worse off, losing another leg on top of losing an arm.
Amidst Voldemort's roar and Pettigrew's scream, the five small spheres in Professor Snape's pocket rose into the air rapidly, and red light lit up.
The next moment, Professor Snape and the several Young Wizards watching the projection witnessed what a real, pure explosion was.
Boom!
Five red laser beams were emitted continuously at the same time, bombing incessantly around Voldemort and Pettigrew, churning up the ground.
While being careful not to take their lives, it also left them with no spare capacity to be distracted.
"Damn it! Harry Potter! I will kill you!"
Voldemort hissed, his hoarse and ugly voice making the few Young Wizards frown at the same time.
Even on Amanda's face, besides indifference, a bit of disgust appeared. This voice... was truly ugly.
After enjoying the misery of Voldemort and Pettigrew for two seconds, Professor Snape waved his wand at the trophy that had fallen to the ground aside. "Accio Trophy!"
Holding the trophy tightly in his other hand, Professor Snape vanished from the spot rapidly.
