After driving for over an hour, the taxi driver dropped Mineo off at the streets of Akatsuki.
Stepping out of the vehicle, Mineo immediately began searching for the location of the shop the system had gifted him.
Based on the information etched into his mind, his Dimensional Restaurant was situated at the southern end of Akatsuki Street. However, after walking the length of the road, Mineo realized just how troublesome the shop's location actually was.
Akatsuki Street was incredibly long. By the time he reached the southern tip, he found himself at the very foot of a mountain.
Did this mean he had to follow a mountain path upward to get to his own restaurant?
"Damn, a restaurant in a place this remote... who on earth would actually come here?"
Mineo grumbled for a moment, but he slung his bag over his shoulder and began the trek up the mountain.
After about twenty minutes of hiking, Mineo finally laid eyes on a storefront bearing the name "Super Dimension Restaurant."
The restaurant was nestled on the slopes of Mount Akatsuki, situated on a vast, open stretch of land. As far as the eye could see, aside from the rolling mountain ranges, this restaurant was the only structure standing tall.
Even though the location was isolated and far-flung, Mineo had to admit that this mountainside establishment was—at least in terms of appearance—breathtakingly beautiful and rich with a romantic atmosphere.
Towering red maple trees lined both sides of the restaurant. The architectural style leaned toward that of an ancient Jiangnan pavilion. A small, clear stream trickled slowly from the mountain peak, winding its way past the stone path.
Wind chimes, water wheels—it had almost everything.
Breathing in the crisp air of the mountain forest while taking in the stunning scenery, Mineo felt as though his body and mind were being purified.
"So this is my 2D restaurant?"
"Tsk, tsk... what a perfect place to retire or spend a vacation."
Mineo murmured in admiration. He pulled out his keys and stepped inside.
From the outside, the scale of the Dimensional Restaurant looked modest, neither too large nor too small. But once inside, Mineo discovered that the interior structure was extraordinary.
The restaurant consisted of three floors. The first floor featured a dining area that blended Eastern and Western styles, a kitchen, and several other utility rooms.
The second floor contained over twenty guest rooms, each decorated with supreme elegance.
The third floor was a dedicated recreation area, complete with a private bar, a bartender's station, a gym, a private cinema, and even a small swimming pool and a board game room.
In addition to these three main floors, there was a basement (B1).
The basement housed a parking lot and a massive food storage warehouse. It was worth noting that this warehouse had a special property: the ingredients and seasonings inside would automatically replenish whenever they were taken, and the food stored there would never spoil.
After touring the dining area, Mineo moved to the kitchen section.
The restaurant's kitchen was divided into three types: a Chinese kitchen, a Western kitchen, and a high-tech Molecular Gastronomy kitchen.
Inside the kitchen, any cooking tool Mineo wished for could be manifested instantly based on his thoughts. This made it incredibly easy for him to whip up any dish at a moment's notice.
Whether in the first-floor dining area or the second-floor bedrooms, the air was filled with a faint, pleasant fragrance. The restaurant didn't require anyone to clean it; dust simply didn't accumulate inside.
Furthermore, under the "Gold Finger" system's arrangements, the ownership of the restaurant and the land it sat on belonged entirely to Mineo. This meant that from this moment on, Mineo didn't just have a restaurant—he had his first home in the 2D world.
After settling into one of the best bedrooms, Mineo took out his phone. He saw that Erina had already sent several messages.
"Mineo-kun... h-have you arrived in Tokyo yet?"
"Mineo-kun? Why aren't you replying..."
"Mineo-kun... you aren't joking with me, are you? This Young Lady has canceled several important duties today just to eat your cooking... If you dare say this was just to tease me... I-I will be truly angry..."
"Mineo-kun???"
Mineo had been so absorbed in the scenery along the way that he hadn't checked his phone. It seemed Erina was ready and practically bursting with impatience, so he quickly typed back:
"Sorry, Erina! I was... on the road, I didn't have a chance to look at my phone!"
"I've arrived in Tokyo! Right now, I'm at the restaurant..."
"You've arrived? In that case... which restaurant is it exactly? I'll head over immediately!"
"I'll send you the location. Just ask your driver to use the navigation to get here!"
When Erina saw the shared location, her expression turned into one of pure bewilderment.
"Why is the distance from me less than five kilometers?"
"And this position... isn't this the back of the Totsuki mountain?"
"Mineo... are you at a restaurant, or on the back mountain of Totsuki?"
"Why did you go there?"
