She lowered the device and let it fall onto the bed before turning toward the door.
Ken stepped in with breakfast balanced carefully in his hands. He set it down and pulled out a chair like it was routine. The smell of food filled the chamber as they settled in.
Arianna's voice still carried faintly from downstairs, loud and unsteady.
"I got another message from Aurelia Model and Fashion this moonrise," Lyn said between bites.
Ken didn't look up right away. He kept eating, then finally nodded.
"Third time, right?"
"Yes."
He leaned back slightly, resting his elbow on the table. "You should meet them. Hear what they actually want. I'll support you. Whatever you need."
Lyn watched him for a moment, then gave a small nod.
"Alright."
At nine in the moonrise, Ken left for his duty.
The rest of the day was spent getting the house ready for dinner.
