One thing that always bothered me about Sirzechs Peerage was that he could easily have had Ajuka make every Piece a Mutation Piece in order to give them an additional edge against Rizevim in Canon. So that's why each piece is a Mutation Piece. But this is less to deal with Rizevim and more to both serve as a deterrent and to provide them with the best possible future. Seriously Rizevan is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Broken as a protagonist by the time we start Slash/Dog that it's just impossible not to change over to his and Grayfia's first son as Main POV Character.
