But the Morreth Deep was different.
The seismic file had been sitting in his unread queue for forty-three years. He had finally read the baseline data. He had seen the microscopic acceleration—a minute fraction of a percent increase in the tremor frequency over four decades. Aven had dismissed it as a problem for another century. Zephyr did not have the luxury of dismissal.
He focused his divine perception entirely on the Morreth province, located in the deep southeastern interior of the Dominion.
He didn't look at the surface. He looked down.
