Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: The Knot in the Heart (Part 2) 18+

I stayed awake the entire night, thoroughly reflecting on myself. What I did regarding Liao Wen was truly inappropriate, and I deeply regretted it.

Early the next morning, I got up and prepared breakfast. However, my wife still hadn't gotten out of bed. It seemed she might not go to work today. After hesitating for a moment, I sent Wang Di a message to ask for a day off. Today, I wanted to spend time with my wife properly.

I didn't disturb her and waited quietly in the living room. It wasn't until around 9:30 that my wife finally came out of the bedroom. Seeing that I hadn't gone to work and had prepared breakfast, she looked slightly surprised but didn't say much. She sat silently at the dining table and began eating quietly.

I couldn't hold back any longer and quickly sat down opposite her. In the gentlest voice I could muster, I asked, "Nannan, can you tell me what happened last night? I'm really worried about you."

My wife paused for a moment, slowly raised her head to look at me, bit her lip, and finally spoke: "Husband, I don't know how to tell you."

"Just tell me the truth. As long as you weren't wronged, I can accept whatever happened," I said.

My wife lowered her head again, silently eating her breakfast with a conflicted expression. I didn't rush her and waited quietly beside her.

Finally, she let out a soft sigh and recounted everything that had happened the night before.

Last night, my wife took the car keys from me and went downstairs to catch up with Liao Wen, who was already stumbling drunk. After much persuasion, she managed to get him into the car and drove him home according to his directions.

My wife had intended to return immediately, but seeing the messy and untidy state of Liao Wen's rented apartment, she felt guilty, remembering that he had moved in hastily because of our thoughtless actions. So, she decided to help him clean up.

While my wife was busy tidying up, Liao Wen suddenly hugged her from behind. Startled, she quickly turned around to push him away, but Liao Wen kissed her instead.

The sudden turn of events left my wife flustered. She froze for a moment, unable to react, until Liao Wen's tongue entered her mouth. Only then did she snap back to reality, pushing him away and instinctively slapping him across the face.

Liao Wen stopped, staring blankly at my wife. She felt at a loss, regretting her impulsive reaction in the panic. Just as she was about to apologize, Liao Wen slumped onto the bed and began slapping himself hard.

"I'm sorry, sister-in-law. I'm a scoundrel," Liao Wen cried out while slapping himself repeatedly.

"Liao Wen, don't do this. Sister-in-law doesn't blame you," my wife said, frightened by his behavior. Instinctively, she hugged him and tried to comfort him.

Liao Wen wrapped his arms around my wife's waist, buried his face against her stomach, and burst into tears.

My wife felt deeply distressed by Liao Wen's state. With one hand, she cradled his head, and with the other, she gently patted his back. Unsure of what to say, she could only offer silent comfort.

After a long while, Liao Wen gradually stopped crying. Still nestled in my wife's arms, he sobbed softly, "If only I had met you before my brother did."

"Liao Wen, please don't be like this anymore. Seeing you this way makes me feel terrible too. Perhaps it's because you've never been in a relationship before that you're acting this way. Promise me, find a girlfriend soon. Maybe then you'll be able to move on," my wife gently comforted him.

Liao Wen sobbed against her belly for a while longer before slowly lifting his head. Gazing at her with deep emotion, he choked out, "Alright, if Sister-in-law tells me to find someone, I will. But tonight, could you let me indulge in you one last time? Let me put a final end to this dream. I promise that after tonight, I'll bury these inappropriate feelings deep in my heart forever and never have any improper thoughts about you again."

"No, Liao Wen. Even though what happened last night... that was with your brother's permission. I won't do anything behind his back that would betray him," my wife said, frowning.

Liao Wen shook his head repeatedly, his voice almost pleading. "Sister-in-law, I promise I won't cross the line. I just want to feel like I truly possess you in my heart, just once, to give closure to all these years of longing. I swear I won't hurt you or force you into anything, okay?"

My wife hesitated, her brow furrowed. She didn't want to do anything that would betray me, but seeing Liao Wen's tear-streaked face, she couldn't bring herself to refuse. Finally, gritting her teeth, she asked, "You said you won't cross the line. Can you really keep that promise?"

Liao Wen nodded eagerly. "Sister-in-law, you're like a goddess in my dreams. How could I ever hurt you? I just want to resolve these feelings tonight. I promise that after tonight, I'll let go completely."

My wife rubbed her temples, thinking for a long time. In the end, her heart softened. She sighed and said, "Alright. As long as you keep your promise and don't cross the line, I'll listen to you tonight. I hope you can truly resolve your feelings and find a girlfriend to have a proper relationship with."

"Really, Sister-in-law? So tonight, can I think of you as my woman? Liao Wen's woman?" His voice trembled with excitement.

My wife gave a slight nod without speaking.

"Then tonight... can I call you Nannan?" Liao Wen gazed at her with longing.

"Mhm," my wife responded softly.

Liao Wen stood up abruptly, trembling with emotion. He reached out with shaky hands and wrapped them around her slender waist, staring at her obsessively. "Nannan," he murmured, "I've called you that so many times in my dreams. How many nights have I screamed 'I love you' in my heart, wishing you could hear me? Today, I finally have this chance. Can you hear me? I love you. I really, truly love you."

My wife looked at him with complex emotions. She had always felt a fondness for Liao Wen, and his confession stirred something in her heart. Her mind was in turmoil.

"I love you, Nannan," Liao Wen whispered with deep affection before leaning in to kiss her lips.

My wife's heart was tangled with conflict, but in the end, she didn't pull away. She closed her eyes gently, allowing his tongue to part her lips as she responded to his passion with her own.

Liao Wen couldn't help but tighten his embrace around her waist, and my wife instinctively wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Their breathing grew heavier in the midst of their loving kiss. Without realizing it, Liao Wen's hands began to wander upward until they finally reached the peaks of her chest, gently caressing them through her clothes.

The wife did not refuse. Her arms, which were wrapped around Liao Wen, had unconsciously tightened completely, and her soft, fragrant tongue became even more proactive in its entanglement with his.

Liao Wen grew bolder. At some point, his hand had slipped inside his wife's clothes, clumsily tugging at her bra, yet he couldn't manage to undo it.

The wife lifted her head, gazing at Liao Wen with heavy breaths. Liao Wen was startled and instinctively stopped his movements, nervously whispering, "Nannan, I..."

After a moment of conflicted hesitation, the wife finally spoke in a soft voice, "Remember what you said. Don't cross the line."

With that, she reached back and unfastened her bra.

Liao Wen nodded frantically, then lowered his head to kiss her again fiercely. At the same time, his hand fully entered the bra, fervently kneading her soft breasts. In one swift motion, he turned her around, pushing her onto the bed and pinning her beneath him.

The wife wrapped her arms around Liao Wen's neck, and the two engaged in a passionate, intense kiss on the bed.
