Weekends at Hogwarts are always pleasant.

For the students who had just entered their third year, this pleasure reached its peak.

Because Hogsmeade had finally opened its doors to them!

At the Hogwarts gates on Saturday morning, students showed each other their signed permission forms, discussing whether to go to Honeydukes or Zonko's Joke Shop first.

Edgar, Ollie, and William also gathered together, checking their coin pouches.

"Lynn, your form..." William looked at Lynn, hesitating.

They all knew that Lynn had no family, and there was no one to sign that consent form requiring a guardian's signature.

Lynn waved his hand.

"Ah, that. It's a bit of a minor issue."

Edgar patted his shoulder.

"It's fine, Lynn. We'll share the candy we buy with you! Honeydukes' new Blood-Flavored Lollipops are said to be really intense!"

Ollie also nodded.

"Or we can bring you something else."

Lynn continued to wave his hand. "Thanks, but don't bother." He checked the time. "You guys just head out as planned. Don't worry about me."

Edgar and the others were skeptical, but seeing Lynn's confident look, they followed the crowd out of the Castle and onto the road to Hogsmeade.

The Castle gradually grew quiet.

Lynn unhurriedly returned to his dormitory.

"Dodo, let's go. Destination: outskirts of Hogsmeade village."

"Yes, Master." Dodo put down his work, walked over, and grabbed the hem of Lynn's robe.

For a house-elf, taking a master through a short-distance Apparition with clear coordinates was not difficult.

Crack! The two figures vanished instantly.

The next moment, on a small path outside Hogsmeade village, Lynn and Dodo appeared out of thin air.

Lynn nodded to Dodo with satisfaction. "Alright, you go back and look after the 'family business' first. Pick me up later when needed."

Dodo bowed and disappeared with a 'pop'.

Lynn adjusted his robes and strolled leisurely toward the entrance of Hogsmeade village.

Before long, he ran into Edgar, Ollie, and William walking along the main road.

"Lynn?!" Edgar, being sharp-eyed, was the first to spot him. "How did you... Weren't you—? Oh! I get it, Dodo brought you?"

Lynn was surprised. "You actually grew a brain?"

Edgar: "..."

...Ollie and William were visiting Hogsmeade for the first time, curiously eyeing this village composed entirely of Wizards. William had already pulled out a small notebook, intending to record some shops and goods he was interested in.

They first went to Honeydukes, where the candies and strange smells were overwhelming.

Lynn wasn't very interested in sugar and didn't buy anything.

Next was Zonko's Joke Shop, which was filled with various prank props.

Edgar bought a dozen 'Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks' and vowed to give Snape a 'surprise' in the next Potions class. Lynn remained skeptical about this.

Lynn went to Gladrags Wizardwear to buy the latest dragon-hide gloves and also bought various new types of magical equipment at Dervish and Banges.

William was very interested in a peacock quill that could automatically correct spelling errors at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop and bought it immediately.

Ollie's attention was drawn to Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, but he was too embarrassed to go in.

Edgar dragged them through almost all the main streets and famous shops of Hogsmeade until everyone was carrying quite a few things.

"Let's check out the Owl Post Office last," Edgar suggested.

The Owl Post Office was a building with many small windows, from which came bursts of hooting and the sound of flapping wings.

They had just reached the door and hadn't even pushed it open—

Bang!

The post office door was suddenly slammed open from the inside!

A middle-aged Wizard in a post office uniform with messy hair rushed out, waving a broom and shouting at the sky with all his might:

"Come back! You lawless rogue bird!!!"

A rather sturdy snowy owl was circling nimbly in the air, dodging the Wizard's "attacks" from below.

It even turned back to squawk mockingly at the shop assistant.

Edgar, Ollie, and William froze simultaneously, then all turned their heads to look at Lynn.

The leisurely smile on Lynn's face instantly froze, and his eyelid twitched violently.

He narrowed his eyes, staring at the snowy owl that was teasing the post office employee, and cursed aloud:

"White! You damn bird! Get over here!"

White, in the air, heard the familiar voice, made a sharp turn, dived toward Lynn, and landed steadily on Lynn's outstretched arm.

It even tried to rub its head against Lynn's face, but was pushed away by Lynn's palm.

The Wizard chased over, panting. Seeing White perched on Lynn's arm, he immediately turned his focus to Lynn, his beard shaking with rage:

"You! Are you the owner of this... this snowy owl?!"

Lynn looked at White's 'I don't know anything, I'm innocent' expression, then at the furious post office employee, and sighed.

"Yes, sir. It's my owl. May I ask... what trouble has it caused?"

"What trouble has it caused?!" The Wizard's voice rose an octave, pointing at White with trembling fingers.

"It! This... this playboy! Scoundrel! Bird-trash! It deceived our post office's most beautiful and gentle female snowy owl! That's one thing! It also, it also..."

The Wizard was too angry to continue for a moment, taking a few deep breaths before resuming:

"It left behind 'debts of passion' at our post office! Now, I have a nest of seven newly hatched snowy owl chicks here. Their mother, my poor snowy owl girl, is also fixated on it. Now she won't let anyone but it get close to feed them!"

(White: Hehe, little sister, I'm not bragging, but follow me and you'll live the high life! Look at these feathers, this build, this aura! My master is even filthy rich! He has a shop in Diagon Alley and a fortune at home. Living with me, I guarantee you and the little ones will have fresh meatballs every meal and the best nesting material!)

Lynn: "..."

Edgar and the others: "..."

Some people had already gathered around curiously, pointing at White.

Lynn felt his forehead throbbing...

Lynn had arrived empty-handed, but when he left Hogsmeade, he had gained a large pile of "burdens."

He had specifically bought an oversized owl cage in the village, which contained eight snowy owls besides White—a gentle-eyed adult female snowy owl and seven fluffy snowy owl chicks huddled together.

He also purchased a massive amount of supporting items:

Several large bags of soft and comfortable nesting material, crates of special small meatballs made of fresh mouse meat and insects, owl nut feed, and various sizes of feeders, waterers, and cleaning tools...

"Lynn..." Edgar suppressed a laugh and patted his shoulder. "Congratulations on becoming a grandfather—and the grandfather of seven chicks at once."

Ollie looked at the chirping chicks in the cage. "They look... quite cute."

Lynn gave White a sharp glare...

Back at the Castle, Lynn put the whole family into his trunk.

The "Hunger Symphony" rose and fell, sounding incessantly.

"Hoot~ (Hungry~)"

"Hoot hoot~ (Hungry, hungry~)"

"Hoot hoot hoot~ (Hungry, hungry, hungry~)"

Dodo: "..."

"White! Come and feed the kids!"

"Take care of your own chicks! What kind of bird are you if you just sire them and don't raise them?!"

"Hurry up! Can't you see how hungry the kids are?! Do you expect Master and Dodo to be your nannies every day?!"
