Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Making Things Too Difficult

Ino took the task of "compiling textbooks" very seriously—she had already begun considering frameworks and content for different age groups, thinking about where to start, moving from "simple" and "interesting" to gradually "complex" and "in-depth." She planned to systematically break down the concept of "Chakra" and the series of Ninjutsu, Sealing Techniques, and so on that stemmed from it... This would be a very long-term process, as she currently only knew a few Ninjutsu and even fewer Sealing Techniques.

But these "samples" would eventually be enriched by her experiences, gradually revealing the principles behind them!

Inoichi Yamanaka saw Ino lost in thought and didn't disturb her. He waited until she came back to her senses before asking, "Ino, you're now at an age where you can start learning our family's Secret Techniques. Do you want to..."

"No!" Ino replied flatly. Unlike those transmigrator predecessors who unlocked Susanoo at age three and defeated Kaguya by five, Ino was very self-aware: a small calf shouldn't try to pull a heavy cart, and one shouldn't expect to get fat in a single bite. As a child who had only just turned four, she shouldn't think about possessing power that only adults could master.

She was afraid she wouldn't be able to handle it.

The next morning, Ino used Mrs. Yamanaka to relay the message of "secretary recruitment" to the young women of the clan.

Ino's requirements for a "secretary" were "very low." The first basic condition was "appearance"—they should be as good-looking as possible with a good figure. The second basic condition was "ability"—they had to be absolutely obedient, capable of quickly executing Ino's various requests, helping her record content, and providing full support.

Mrs. Yamanaka, however, added another requirement—knowing how to take care of children.

When Ino saw this addition:

o( ̄ヘ ̄o#)

In the afternoon, the mother and daughter began conducting "interviews" in the living room. The content of the first round was arranged by Ino herself—

A written test.

The first question described a messy filing cabinet full of documents and asked how to quickly find a specific one.

This question tested mathematical ability, logical reasoning, and one's methods and experience in getting things done.

It seemed difficult on the surface, and it truly was in practice. This single question knocked out six interviewees, leaving only two.

The second question: Assuming the rated output power of a Ninjutsu is P, and it is known that the power is related to the Chakra's amplitude Z, arc length L, and loudness D, please provide the optimal solution for P... (Chakra is a power generated by spiritual energy, specifically neural impulses vibrating through the meridians. Vibration is a wave, having amplitude, arc length, frequency...)

...The remaining two young ladies stared at the question blankly. It wasn't that they couldn't understand it at all; at the very least, they recognized every single word.

They just had no idea what it meant when put together.

Mrs. Yamanaka saw their struggle and felt deep sympathy and empathy—because yes, she didn't understand the question either.

But Ino already thought it was "very simple"—

This is the simplest "theory," okay? This kind of question is only ever seen in a written test like this.

In actual practice, you could at most pick out a single seal and do a simple calculation—it's basically not of much damn use.

The truly complex part is when, on this basis, the Chakra power from multiple meridians interferes and compounds, bringing in Old Man Fourier. Although Ino herself hadn't reached that stage yet, it didn't stop her from roughly inferring what knowledge might be applied in the future based on what she already knew.

"Ha, you can't do the second question. How about we just leave it at that..." Ino thought for a moment, observing the two.

These two girls had silvery-blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and very good figures. Ino was quite satisfied.

Ino said, "Both of you should just be my secretaries. It'll be easier with two people. We'll discuss the specific division of labor when work starts tomorrow..."

The two women were instantly pleasantly surprised.

"Don't get happy too early—I have requirements." Relying on her young age, Ino unashamedly indulged in some preferences from her "previous life." "Come tomorrow wearing bodysuits—the full-body kind—and you must wear masks. Yes, I like masks. Also, the bodysuits must cover your hands and feet; no part of your body below the chin is allowed to be exposed..."

Mrs. Yamanaka:...The next day, after Ino finished her flexibility exercises and fully stretched her meridians and muscles, she ate breakfast. The two secretaries arrived, wearing bodysuits and masks as requested... Then, they witnessed the miracle of an infant textbook being born from Ino's mouth at light speed, and their gaze toward Ino became one of absolute adoration.

In just a little over "half a day," a textbook dictated and explained by Ino, with occasional abstract conceptual sketches, was compiled.

The "textbook" consisted of a large number of illustrations and some captions.

The content of "Lesson 1: Waves" included six parts: "Recognizing Waves," "What is a Wave," "Throwing Stones into Still Water," "Vibration of Sound," "Strings," and "Elements of a Wave," totaling six small sections.

In "Lesson 2: Chakra," she followed the first lesson by extending the concepts to the energy known as "Chakra."

"Lesson 3: Let's Learn Hand Seals Together"... The third lesson was purely a hands-on, step-by-step practical guide. How to do it and how to feel it were all summaries and replications of Ino's own experience.

There were only three lessons in total.

The two secretaries flipped through it from beginning to end, unable to put it down. Although the concepts clashed with the "Chakra is a combination of physical and spiritual energy" concept they had been taught, it didn't stop them from feeling the excellence of this "textbook."

"Princess Ino, should we print this textbook for all the children in the clan to study together?"

The two of them unconsciously began using the honorific "Princess."

Ino nodded and said, "Of course. The textbook needs to be printed, and teachers need to be trained. Otherwise, with only the textbook and relying on parents to teach, the quality will become a mixed bag. Our Yamanaka Clan is a united clan; we cannot let the younger generation suffer from inequality in educational resources because of their parents' status..."

One of them asked in surprise, "Princess Ino, you mean—"

"The Clan School—of course, the Clan School."

The other person took out a small notebook and got her pen ready, prepared to record Ino's words.
