Inside Viserys's bedroom in the Kings Tower of the White Keep.

Viserys gently pulled back the curtains in the room, revealing the morning light; it was another day of rising early.

Since his mental attribute had been strengthened to a certain degree, Viserys felt his energy was far beyond that of ordinary people, with sharp senses and abundant vitality.

Viserys watched the flowing light and shadows on the black glass stele; the ancient images revealed some secrets of the Valyria Dragonlords' binding spells.

Viserys gently channeled the faint Fire Element gathered at his fingertips into the stele, which, like a tireless beast, greedily devoured the Fire Element.

After a while, Viserys felt his head begin to throb.

Casting magic in such an ordinary environment was far more difficult than in the Valyrian Ruins.

Comparing it to his previous memories, it felt as if he had been pulled from a golden age of magic into an era of magic's end.

Viserys was merely a vessel borrowing from water and fire, using his mental strength and bloodline to summon and gather them, rather than being the element itself.

What Viserys needed to do was expand his vessel from the size of a small fish into a whale that could swallow and breathe vast amounts of elements.

But under the current circumstances, the road ahead was still long.

Magic elements are like an ocean, and the most concentrated areas should be at the "poles."

Just like a normal planet, the equator is hottest and the poles are coldest.

The ice elements that create White Walkers are most prevalent in the Heart of Winter, while Fire Elements are most abundant in the Valyrian Ruins.

Even when dragons were extinct, as regions of elemental extremes, they still maintained their wasteland ecology, where magic elements far exceeded those of ordinary areas.

The light and shadow on the glass stele flowed slowly, and Viserys did not miss a single fragment.

Viserys saw a Dragonlord offering his own blood, the Dragonlord gathering his own life-fire, and the dragon breathing fire as well.

Then blood and Dragonflame, and the Dragonlord's fire merged together, then gathered and split—a contract between man and dragon.

The Dragonlords of old Valyria could control dragons with binding spells and magic horns; the first step was to sign a mental contract with the dragon.

A contract between man and dragon, a contract of blood and fire—this kind of bond would surpass the violence used on horses and pets.

Viserys finished watching with focused attention, but given his level of Fire Element mastery and the surrounding magical environment, he only managed to memorize one fragment: the fragment for signing the Soul Spell.

Even so, it was already extremely precious.

The subsequent fire spells, blood spells, and sky spells would have to wait for the next activation.

According to the division between the Blood Cult and the Fire Party, it should be that the Blood Cult emphasizes blood spells, while the Fire Party excels in Fire Magic.

Previously, the Dragon Riders of the House Targaryen relied on the mutual understanding between man and dragon, and their steel-tipped whips.

Viserys would sign a new Soul Spell with Sunfyre.

Viserys then looked at the black glass stele representing the craftsmen, but there was no reaction; it seemed this stele required more magic power than the fire stele, so Viserys gave up for now.

Viserys had originally wanted to learn some high-end Valyria technology, such as the Valyrian Road and the black fortresses.

Viserys turned back to the glass candle and the fragments of the glass gold mirror left by Orryon on the table; the golden glass candle was about three feet high, and Viserys observed it carefully.

The glass candle was as slender as a sword, with spiral edges as sharp as a knife, faintly shimmering with golden light.

"It will burn and will not be consumed." Viserys tried to awaken the glass candle using his own blood and Fire Magic.

Eventually, a flame slowly appeared on the glass candle—white as fresh snow, yellow as molten gold, red as a blazing fire—but the shadow it cast was so pitch black, like a black hole in the mortal world.

Before Viserys could get a good look, the flame of the glass candle quickly went out again.

It seemed that, restricted by the thin magic, the candle could not fully awaken.

Seeing that the glass candle had sputtered out, Viserys decided to continue his research next time.

Viserys then picked up the last glass fragment from Orryon; the circular glass had broken into two pieces, and the piece left was like a half-moon.

This was no ordinary fragment, or Orryon would not have cherished it so much.

Viserys sat on the sofa, and the black-red fire at his fingertips slowly merged into the mirror...

The images inside the mirror slowly began to shift, completely capturing all of Viserys's attention.

It was as if Viserys were being led into a mirrored space; a new dream began to coalesce once again.

This was not Viserys's dragon dream, but a mirrored display, an immersive vision.

"Where the hell did this take me?"

Viserys was somewhat surprised until he found that he had become a black-armored Dragon Rider flying high in the sky, riding an ancient and ferocious purple-gold dragon whose size was similar to Bronze Fury.

Viserys felt the images were clearer and more realistic than ever before; the cold wind was biting, and below were vast mountains and plains.

Viserys felt that the sky was always overcast with dark clouds, and the mountain areas were plagued by bitter winds year-round; the sunlight here was pale and dim.

Amidst those mountains stood an ancient city-state.

The city-state was surrounded by mountains, and the dense black forest contained beech, oak, pine, and a large number of different wild animals.

Approaching the city area, terraced fields were visible everywhere, and people lived in manors and walled villages protected by wooden walls to cultivate the land.

"It's Norvos." Viserys quickly realized where he was fighting; among the many city-states of the Essos continent, only Norvos had such an environment.

Norvos had been surrounded by a large army of about a hundred thousand people; looking at their blonde hair and blue eyes, and the endless seven-pointed star symbols on their faces and banners.

Viserys immediately recognized them as the ancient Andals, who maintained a fanaticism for the faith of the warrior.

They were tall and burly, with typically fair skin.

This was a war from a thousand years ago, the army of the Andal Kor Lon who had marched south.

"Kor Lon the Great" was an Andal warrior who unified the Lorath Isles and was intent on becoming the "King of All Andals."

The most elite Andal warriors wore iron armor and chainmail; seeing the dragons appear, the warriors' blue eyes were filled with endless terror.

Viserys only heard the bursts of roaring dragons in the sky and the sound of dragon wings flapping like thunderclaps beside him.

This was not just one dragon, but a full hundred dragons, come to destroy the Andals troops besieging the colony of Norvos.

Many dragons were as massive as Bronze Fury, while others were smaller but equally cunning and bloody; the colorful dragons were like multi-colored flames in the sky.

Purple-gold, blood-red, silver-purple, and so on.

Viserys wanted to look for any ancestors of the House Targaryen, but it seemed he couldn't find any.

The dragons had formed up in ranks; the most elite dragons of the Blood Cult and Fire Party were in the center, while the slightly lower-tier Dragonlords who did not know blood and Fire Magic were positioned on the flanks.

Viserys was likely inhabiting the body of a knight from House Belaerys, who could perfectly serve in the center army.

"Woooooo!" An ancient horn sounded, and the tall Dragonlord commander in the lead rode an even larger purple-gold dragon, at least twice the size of Bronze Fury, like a massive island in the sky.

The purple-gold ancient dragon of the Fire Party and the blood-red ancient dragon of the Fire Party were undoubtedly the absolute masters of this war.

This was not the Dragonbinder horn, but a true Dragon Horn.

Once the Dragon Horn sounded, the dragons seemed to hear the most beautiful music in the world, stimulating the bloodthirst and ferocity within them, as if they had been given a stimulant.

"Battle! Awesome!" Viserys didn't have time to think too much; he followed the call of the Dragon Horn and joined the fray.

Viserys folded the dragon's wings and dove down with the other dragons, aiming at the Andals army.

"Dragonflame!"

All the Dragonflame seemed to have heard a single command, and a surging tide of fire swept down.

The immense magic power exerted by a hundred dragons fighting was like a hundred suns exploding simultaneously; the surging Dragonflame was peerless.

Viserys felt only the spectacle, the heat, and the slaughter.

The Dragonlords of the Fire Party chanted spells, and the dragons' fireballs abruptly exploded in the sky like a meteor shower, falling in scattered trails.

The ancient Blood Cult was not to be outdone; the blood-colored flames of their dragons seemed to contain a blood curse, and the bodies of the warriors touched by the flames slowly withered, as if their life-fire were being drained.

The Andals' catapults, longbowmen, and Scorpions let out terrified roars, and arrows and ballistae bombarded the Dragonlords in the sky.

However, it had little effect, only serving to incite the dragons' fury.

Aside from those unlucky peripheral Dragonlords who suffered misfortune and were accidentally grazed by arrows, the main force was unscathed.

Viserys felt as if he had truly absorbed the experience of an ancient Dragon Rider, smoothly parrying and dodging in the battlefield before spraying Dragonflame onto the Andals army.

The surging Dragonflame ignited all at once in an instant, turning humans into ash.

The fire of the oldest dragons could even melt surface stone, let alone the armor of the Andals.

Viserys rose again with the dragon through the clouds, flying to a very high altitude until he was as small as a fly.

Then he dove down violently again, beginning to breathe Dragonflame in a surprise attack.

The most dangerous flight scenario was ultra-low altitude flying, where one needed to avoid enemy arrows and Scorpions.

But Viserys found a way to dodge, as if he had already tried it many times.

Light emitted from the valyrian steel armor, deflecting the arrows aimed at him.

The dragon flew high in accordance with the mind spell, and the flames even expanded rapidly; the Dragonlord's fire wrapped a protective magic circle around the dragon, with a focus on the dragon's eyes.

"Boom!" Viserys slaughtered endlessly on the battlefield until finally, hearing the Dragon Horn sound, all the Dragonlords flew back into the high sky.

Over a hundred Dragonlords burned "Kor Lon the Great" and his army to nothing outside the city of Norvos.

Viserys looked at the devastated aftermath of the war; an army of hundreds of thousands had been destroyed within a single day.

This war was a large-scale conflict even in Valyria history.

"Woooooo..." This time the horn sound was even more piercing; it was the true Dragonbinder, and some dragons felt very uncomfortable after hearing it.

But the horn sound soon ended, and the slave army that had arrived with the Dragonlords seemed entranced as they began to stride forward to clean up the aftermath of the war.

Then the Dragonlords were to continue flying, to attack the Lorath Isles in one go and destroy Kor Lon's fortress.

Viserys understood what this glass fragment represented; it was equivalent to an ancient Dragon Tamer simulation, allowing one to personally experience ancient dragon battles.
