Chapter 25 - Chapter 24: Special Training

In the original plot, there have been eleven fingers that appeared so far.

Itadori has swallowed two fingers so far, and what few people know is that Itadori originally had one inside his body, meaning he currently holds three fingers.

These three fingers cannot be seized.

Unlike stripping away Cursed Energy, forcibly stripping the power and soul of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, from a "Sukuna Vessel" is something even the system cannot achieve.

Lynn has currently recovered eight fingers, leaving nine remaining outside.

Among these, one is inside the Special Grade Cursed Spirit beneath the Eighty-Eight Bridge.

Geto Suguru's adopted daughters, Nanako and Mimiko, hold one finger. They are also rumored to possess clues to another.

Gojo Satoru secretly hides one finger, which is also the key to finally defeating Sukuna in the original work.

Approximately five fingers remain in the hands of Uraume, Kenjaku, and their associates.

Lynn doesn't know if Kenjaku and the others have already collected the remaining fingers at this point in time.

But there are no clues regarding those approximately five fingers, so they cannot be seized for now.

The one held by Gojo Satoru is the same.

In other words, the fingers that can currently be seized are the one beneath the Eighty-Eight Bridge, and the one held by Nanako and Mimiko, along with the clues to another finger.

Lynn pinched the bridge of his nose with his fingers.

The one beneath the Eighty-Eight Bridge is relatively easy to obtain.

Given Lynn's current strength, it would naturally be a piece of cake.

As for how to trick Nanako and Mimiko, that is a problem.

Lynn naturally doesn't have the strength to directly kill Kenjaku right now, meaning he cannot satisfy their desire for Geto Suguru to rest in peace.

Seriously, if Lynn had that kind of strength, why would he bother looking for fingers?

He could just kill all the Cursed Spirits.

"Speaking of fingers, the Binding Vow made with the Cursed Spirit side still needs to be executed..."

Lynn rolled over, deep in thought.

Lynn's intervention at the Juvenile Detention Center actually altered much of the plot.

Because of Lynn's intervention, Sukuna did not completely take over Itadori's body.

He also didn't have a direct confrontation with Megumi Fushiguro, didn't witness Megumi Fushiguro's "charm," and thus didn't develop an interest in him.

Itadori didn't die because of this, so he didn't establish a Vow of Extension with Sukuna.

This directly resulted in Sukuna now being merely a frustrated soul residing inside Itadori's body.

This is what Lynn wanted to see, which is why he pushed himself to complete the plan at that time.

Reconstructing a physical body for Sukuna was originally part of Lynn's plan; trading with the King of Curses would yield more points than trading with anyone else.

As for the tragedies that Sukuna's arrival might cause, frankly, Lynn has already found ways to prevent those he could.

For example, Megumi Fushiguro.

As for whether ordinary Japanese Citizens might be affected, honestly, Lynn doesn't care that much.

A few Japanese people, if they die, they die.

Moreover, only with conflict will people need to trade.

If the world were peaceful, who would come and give money to Lynn, this shrewd merchant?

Lynn didn't come to this world to slay demons and eliminate evil.

In a sense, he is just like Sukuna, acting only according to his own preferences... The first ray of morning sunlight had just pierced through the infirmary curtains.

Shoko Ieiri, with an unlit cigarette dangling from her mouth, stared at the empty hospital bed.

Her usually lazy and composed face was now etched with an expression as if she had just seen a ghost.

"He left?"

She turned her head to look at the nurse who was changing the sheets.

"Yes, Mr. Lynn completed the discharge procedures early this morning," the nurse replied nervously. "He said he had a massive business deal worth hundreds of millions waiting for him at his store, and he couldn't waste a single minute."

...

The old school building.

Exchange No. 8 Branch.

"Boss, can I put this new shipment of 'Cursed Tool Maintenance Oil' on the third shelf?"

Yoshino Junpei was wearing a crisp Jujutsu High uniform and carrying a heavy box.

Since the last "Sewer Battle" and "Home Defense Battle," Junpei's demeanor had undergone earth-shattering changes.

The boy who used to always hang his head, with bangs covering half his face and gloomy eyes, was gone.

In his place was a young Jujutsu Sorcerer with bright eyes and a straight back.

Of course, in front of Lynn, he was still an obedient "Wage Worker."

"Yes, Junpei."

Lynn sat behind the counter, holding a cup of hot tea, comfortably crossing his legs, watching Junpei bustling about.

"Move a little faster. This batch of goods is a hot commodity that I plan to promote to Kyoto Jujutsu High at the baseball game."

"Yes, sir!"

Junpei responded and quickly stacked the goods neatly.

Seeing such a sensible employee, Lynn nodded in satisfaction.

"Junpei."

"What is it, Boss?" Junpei wiped his sweat and turned around.

"Do you know what the most perfect employer-employee relationship in the world is?"

Lynn put down his teacup, pushed up the gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, and showed that signature smile that made people want to clutch their wallets.

Junpei paused, then tentatively asked, "Is it... mutual success?"

"Wrong."

Lynn held up one finger and shook it.

"It's the boss drinking tea while the employee works; the boss counting money while the employee takes the blame."

...

Junpei's mouth twitched.

"Boss, could you please not describe exploitation so righteously?"

"This isn't exploitation; this is 'providing valuable training opportunities for the growth of young people.'"

Lynn stood up, walked over to Junpei, and patted him on the shoulder.

"Since we're talking about growth..."

Lynn flipped his hand and produced a glass test tube containing a light golden liquid.

"This is your 'employee benefit.'"

"What is this?" Junpei asked curiously, taking the test tube.

"The [Jujutsu Sorcerer Constitution Enhancement Potion: Grade 2 Special Edition]."

Lynn said lightly, "After drinking this, you can quickly reach Grade 2 strength through training. You can think of it as a potion that boosts training efficiency."

Junpei's hand trembled, and he nearly dropped the test tube.

"Grade 2?! This... this is too valuable!"

He had been in the Jujutsu World for a while, so he naturally knew how difficult it was to improve one's constitution.

"Drink it."

Lynn put his hands in his pockets, his tone casual.

Lynn had once told Junpei that he would make him stronger.

Lynn always follows through on what he says.

"Of course, it's not free. You'll be coming with me on a mission soon, and I'll have a use for you."

"Furthermore..."

Lynn narrowed his eyes.

"In the upcoming Special Training, the current you might actually die."

Junpei's heart sank.

He didn't hesitate anymore, pulled out the stopper, and tilted his head back, gulping down the potion.

"Ugh—!!"

The next second, Junpei suddenly collapsed to his knees. His entire body's muscles began to spasm violently, and his bones emitted sharp, popping sounds like exploding beans.

The feeling was like his entire body was being disassembled and reassembled.

"Hold on."

Lynn's voice rang out above him, cold and calm.

"Acquiring power always comes with a price. If you don't want to be a weakling forever, grit your teeth and endure it."

Ten minutes later.

Junpei was soaked through, as if he had been pulled out of the water.

He clenched his fist, and the air crackled faintly in his palm. His vision was clear, and his body felt incredibly light.

"How do you feel?" Lynn asked.

"I feel like... I could punch a cow to death." Junpei looked excitedly at his hands.

"Very good."

"Now, the Special Training begins."

...The Jujutsu High training grounds.

Lynn undid the cufflinks of his suit, rolled up his sleeves, and exposed his muscular forearms.

"Junpei, how do you currently utilize your Cursed Technique, Yotsuki?"

"The main strategy is just to wear down the opponent with poison, right..."

Junpei looked at Lynn with some hesitation.

Lynn extended a finger, gathering a ball of Cursed Energy at the tip.

"The effects of a Jujutsu Sorcerer's Cursed Technique can be further developed."

"The secret lies in the manipulation of Cursed Energy."

"Your poison is created by your Cursed Technique, but its specific effects can be controlled."

"Neurotoxins, blood coagulants, hallucinogens, truth serums, and even Cursed Poisons that can block the flow of Cursed Energy..."

As Lynn spoke, he began guiding Junpei in controlling his Shikigami, like a strict mentor.

The next three hours were absolute hell for Junpei.

Under Lynn's guidance, he repeatedly pushed his Cursed Energy to its limits, forcing Yotsuki to secrete poisons of various bizarre properties.

Whenever his Cursed Energy was depleted and he was about to pass out, Lynn would force him to drink a foul-tasting Recovery Potion and make him continue training.

This Special Training lasted for several days... Meanwhile, during Junpei's training, the Jujutsu High baseball game was also underway... One day.

"Very good."

Lynn checked the time and nodded in satisfaction.

"Today's Special Training ends here."

Although Junpei was exhausted to the point of collapse, the genuine power he felt within his body made the gratitude in his eyes almost spill over.

"Boss, thank you! I..."

"Stop."

Lynn raised a hand, cutting off his sentimentality.

He pulled out a calculator and furiously tapped away at the keys.

"Constitution Potion: 15,000 points; venue fee: 500 points... Total: 15,500 points."

Lynn tore off a long bill and smilingly slapped it onto Junpei's chest.

"This amount is charged to your account, to be deducted from your salary over the next twenty years."

"Work hard, Junpei. I have high hopes for you."

Junpei held the bill, his emotion instantly freezing on his face.

Twenty years?!

"Alright, stop spacing out."

Lynn straightened his suit and pushed open the training ground door.

Outside the door, the sun was shining brightly.

The sounds of noisy crowds and broadcasting could already be heard from the Jujutsu High athletic field.

"Let's go, Junpei."

Lynn looked toward the athletic field, a curve of anticipation hooking up the corner of his mouth.

"Today's baseball game is going to be a big event."
