Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Meeting Rozia

Two days later, in the Dandelion Palace.

The maids informed Liser, "Your Highness, several merchants outside the palace claim you invited them to discuss business. They have given you this."

The maid presented a royal badge. When departing last time, Liser had given it to Sulcas.

"Let them enter. Tell them I will be coming shortly."

Saying that, Liser walked into his room. Ever since that day, his mind could not stop wandering back to Jianwan. Now, however, he wanted to see who this Rozia truly was.

How did he know she wasn't Rozia's reincarnation?

Simple.

When he was reborn, he looked exactly like his previous life. In a way, he had been handsome enough that his appearance passed the royal family's judgment. If Rozia were truly reincarnated, there might be signs.

Pushing the thoughts aside, Liser took out his most expensive clothes and dressed elegantly.

Meanwhile, in the reception room, Rozia observed her surroundings with great interest. The palace was built with genuine luxury. She sighed.

She had tried to save Sulcas and fainted. After waking up, she heard that the kingdom's Fourth Prince had arranged her treatment, given a large sum of money, and shown interest in her products. While recounting the story, Sulcas's admiration overflowed.

So she decided to give it a try.

Through the Boba Trading Company, which is currently distributing her products, she arrived at the Fourth Prince's residence.

"Don't be nervous," Griftion said, comforting Rozia and Sulcas. "From what you've said, he seems like a good man. Follow noble etiquette and do not disrespect him. Do not speak unless spoken to."

Griftion was the owner of the Boba Trading Company. Naturally, he had to be present for such an occasion.

An attendant soon arrived. "His Highness, the Fourth Prince, wishes to see you. Follow me."

They were led into a luxuriously decorated room. In the center sat a nine-year-old child, legs crossed.

No matter how one looked at it, he did not seem like a child. He exuded an aura of superiority.

Rozia felt nervous.

She and her entourage bowed.

Satisfied, Liser waved his hand. "Rise."

He gestured for them to sit. After they settled down, Liser began the conversation.

"Rozia, I've heard you are a great inventor. You've made fine salt, wine, clothing accessories, and especially milk tea. That was good."

Milk tea without boba.

Bah.

He clicked his tongue internally.

Rozia lowered her head slightly. "You flatter me, Your Highness. I am not as great as you describe."

She felt guilty. She was not the one who originally came up with those ideas, yet she was receiving praise as a genius. Her words were not false modesty, but truth.

Liser picked up a quill and paper and began writing. After a moment, he handed it to her.

"Rozia, I truly do not understand this. You are intelligent. Can you solve it?"

She picked up the paper.

Her mind exploded.

Written in flawless English were the words:

"Rozia, are you also reincarnated? If you are, do not be afraid. I am one as well. We can get to know each other."

Rozia looked at Liser as if she had seen a ghost.

Seeing her astonished expression, Liser was certain.

"What? Can you not even solve this? Even nobles could manage it. How can you be called intelligent if you cannot?"

He scoffed deliberately.

"Your Highness, this…" Rozia was flustered. She had never expected to meet another reborn person.

"Enough. I even suspect your inventions are plagiarized. I wish to speak with her alone. Everyone except Rozia, leave. Maids included."

His voice carried unquestionable authority.

Sulcas tried to protest. "Your Highness, ple—"

Before he could finish, Griftion patted his shoulder and led him outside. Before leaving, he gave Liser a pleading glance.

Soon, the grand room was left with only two nine-year-olds.

Yet their behavior was far from that of children.

"Rozia, there is no need to hide. The evidence is clear."

Seeing no point in pretending, she spoke cautiously. "What do you want?"

"What do I want? I want to speak to someone from the world I know. And, of course, invest in you."

Rozia exhaled slowly. "I appreciate that. I never expected to find another reborn person in this world."

"I felt the same."

The rigid social hierarchy suddenly felt meaningless. What was the point of such structures when both of them came from a world built on established human rights?

"Rozia. Good name. Where are you from? Do you understand English?"

"Yes. English is my primary language. I am from Italy."

She replied in English.

The vigilance in her voice softened as she continued speaking with him in that language.

For the first time since arriving in this world, they could speak freely about their origins.

The social barrier crumbled.

And they began to talk.
