Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: Devourer of the Devourer

The sky had become a hurricane.

The Whale Falcon hovered like a celestial predator above the ruined city, its wings stretching across kilometers of sky. Every flap reshaped the battlefield, bending wind currents into spiraling storms that swallowed entire districts.

Below, the devouring Titan struggled violently.

Fire erupted from its claws.

Lightning split the air.

Ice spikes exploded outward.

Dark energy pulsed from its core.

But none of it stopped the pull.

The cyclone dragging it upward grew stronger with every second.

Storm hovered in midair, eyes wide.

"…It's actually happening."

The Frost host watched calmly, though even he looked impressed.

"The sky predator has absolute control of the battlefield."

Inside Harold's mindscape, the Monkey King leaned on his staff with a grin.

"Well, this is satisfying."

The Devourer's ocean rolled with approval.

"A predator has encountered a superior hunter."

The Sovereign Colossus rumbled deeply.

"Balance being enforced."

Unity glowed brighter.

"Network stabilization increasing."

The Counter-Sovereign watched silently.

"Outcome approaching."

The Devouring Host's Desperation

High above the battlefield, the devouring host stood on the shoulder of his monstrous Titan, wind tearing at his clothes.

His confident smile had vanished.

Instead, rage filled his eyes.

"You think this ends here?!"

The devouring Titan roared again, its body mutating violently.

Fire spread across its wings.

Lightning exploded from its chest.

Ice hardened into armor.

Darkness spread across its back like living shadows.

The devouring host raised both hands.

Then—

The fragments of the Titans he had devoured began glowing.

Seven broken seals floated around him.

Storm gasped.

"…What is he doing?"

Frost narrowed his eyes.

"Overloading."

The Devourer whispered inside Harold's mind.

"He is forcing fusion."

The Monkey King stopped smiling.

"Uh… that's not good."

The devouring host screamed.

"IF I CAN'T DEVOUR YOU—"

The seven fragments exploded.

The devouring Titan's body mutated again.

Its wings doubled in size.

Extra limbs grew from its back.

Its body expanded rapidly.

The cyclone faltered slightly.

The monster roared in triumph.

"—THEN I'LL BECOME STRONG ENOUGH TO DEVOUR THE SKY!"

Storm swore loudly.

"That idiot's going to blow himself up!"

Frost nodded grimly.

"Or evolve."

The devouring Titan tore free from the cyclone.

For a moment—

The sky predator lost control.

The Whale Falcon shrieked in fury.

Its wings beat again, summoning an even larger hurricane.

But the devouring Titan launched itself forward.

Straight toward Harold.

The Collision of Titans

"Harold!" Storm shouted.

But Harold didn't move.

Inside his mindscape, all six Titans stood behind him.

The Monkey King cracked his knuckles.

"Well, round two."

The Devourer's ocean surged.

"Predator refuses submission."

The Sovereign Colossus ignited.

"Planetary stability critical."

Unity radiated calmly.

"Balance must prevail."

The Whale Falcon screamed overhead.

"Sky devours all."

The Counter-Sovereign whispered softly.

"End this."

Harold raised his hand.

Six Titans aligned.

Golden flames spiraled.

Ocean waves roared.

Molten earth erupted.

White unity light spread.

Sky winds screamed.

Balanced power converged into one point.

The devouring Titan lunged.

Its claws aimed directly at Harold.

But the Whale Falcon moved first.

It dove.

The sky split apart as the colossal Titan descended like a meteor.

CRASH!

The two Titans collided mid-air.

The impact flattened three entire districts.

Wind and fire exploded outward.

Storm had to summon a lightning barrier to stay airborne.

Frost planted his spear into the ground to avoid being thrown miles away.

Above them—

The Whale Falcon wrapped its massive wings around the devouring Titan.

The monster struggled violently.

Claws tearing.

Lightning exploding.

Fire raging.

But the sky predator tightened its grip.

The Devourer whispered inside Harold's mind.

"Air pressure collapse."

The Monkey King grinned again.

"Got him."

The Whale Falcon opened its beak.

Another vortex formed.

But this time—

The devouring Titan was already trapped inside its wings.

The cyclone intensified instantly.

The monster screamed.

The devouring host shouted in fury.

"No! I WON'T BE ERASED!"

But the sky predator did not stop.

The vortex compressed.

The devouring Titan's limbs cracked.

Its wings shattered.

Its stolen powers began tearing themselves apart under the pressure.

The devouring host's eyes widened in terror.

"This… isn't possible…"

Harold's voice echoed across the battlefield.

"You tried to take everything."

The Whale Falcon's cyclone grew even stronger.

"But balance always answers greed."

The devouring Titan was lifted again.

Straight toward the Whale Falcon's beak.

The monster clawed desperately at the air.

But the wind ruled the sky.

The vortex consumed it.

Then—

The Whale Falcon swallowed.

Silence fell across the battlefield.

The hurricane stopped.

The sky cleared.

Storm stared.

"…Did that Titan just eat another Titan?"

Frost nodded once.

"Yes."

High above them, the Whale Falcon floated calmly.

Then it roared.

A victorious cry that shook the entire planet.

Inside Harold's mindscape, the Devourer spoke slowly.

"Predator eliminated."

Unity glowed brighter than ever.

"Network stabilization complete."

The Monkey King laughed loudly.

"Best. Entrance. Ever."

The Sovereign Colossus rumbled.

"Planetary equilibrium restored."

The Counter-Sovereign whispered.

"The trial continues."

Across the Planet

The white threads in the sky brightened again.

Hosts everywhere felt the shift.

The predator was gone.

The network stabilized.

Distributed sovereignty had survived its first true crisis.

Above the atmosphere—

The True Sovereign observed silently.

For the first time since the trial began—

Its voice echoed quietly through the cosmos.

"Outcome… acceptable."

Back in the Ruined City

Storm landed beside Harold, still staring at the sky.

"…Remind me never to fight that bird."

Frost dismissed his Titan calmly.

"You have altered the balance again."

Harold looked up at the Whale Falcon as it slowly dissolved into sky particles.

Six Titans now lived within him.

But he could still feel something deeper.

Three more sealed doors.

Three more unknown powers.

And somewhere far beyond the stars—

The True Sovereign was still watching.

Harold exhaled slowly.

"This trial…"

Storm crossed her arms.

"…is only getting bigger."

The Monkey King laughed inside Harold's mind.

"Oh yeah."

The Devourer's ocean churned.

"Much bigger."

Because somewhere far away—

Another seal had begun to glow.

And this time…

It did not belong to Harold.
