Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – The Secret Observation Room

The training field slowly emptied as students returned to their dormitories.

Most of them were still talking about the morning's combat test.

Some discussed their scores.

Some complained about the drones being too fast.

And some whispered about something strange they had witnessed.

A boy from Dormitory D…

The so-called non-awakened student…

Had disabled a combat drone with a single touch.

Many believed it was luck.

But not everyone.

High Above the Training Grounds

Far above the arena, inside a secured tower that ordinary students were never allowed to enter, a large observation room overlooked the academy.

Several transparent screens floated in the air, replaying recordings from the morning's training.

On the central screen, one moment repeated again and again.

Leo stepping aside.

Leo dodging effortlessly.

Leo tapping the drone's arm.

And the machine instantly shutting down.

Instructor Kael stood in front of the screens with his arms crossed.

Beside him stood two other instructors.

One was a tall woman with sharp green eyes named Instructor Mira, responsible for magic training.

The other was an older man with gray hair and calm expression—Instructor Roland, the academy's strategy instructor.

Mira watched the footage again.

"That was not luck," she said.

Roland nodded slowly.

"Agreed."

Kael zoomed in on the recording.

"Look at his movement."

The screen displayed Leo stepping slightly to the side as the drone attacked.

"Minimal motion," Kael continued.

"Perfect timing."

Roland stroked his beard thoughtfully.

"More importantly…"

He paused the video exactly when Leo touched the drone's arm.

"He hit the power joint."

Mira frowned.

"That connection point is only five centimeters wide."

Kael nodded.

"And it moves during combat."

For a student to strike that exact location during a fast attack required something extremely rare.

Perfect combat awareness.

Roland leaned back slightly.

"That boy has never been trained formally."

"But he fights like someone who has spent years in battle."

Mira folded her arms.

"Yet his mana signature is almost zero."

Kael stared at the screen.

"That's what bothers me."

He replayed Leo's movements again.

"His body language… his balance… his reaction speed…"

Kael shook his head slowly.

"That is not the instinct of a beginner."

The Academy's Hidden Monitoring System

Roland walked toward a nearby console.

"Let's check the combat data."

He typed several commands.

A new screen appeared showing detailed analysis of Leo's test.

Reaction speed.

Body coordination.

Movement prediction.

Every measurement appeared on the screen.

Mira raised an eyebrow.

"Well…"

"That's interesting."

Kael looked closer.

Leo's physical strength rating was average.

His mana reading was extremely low.

But his reaction speed and combat prediction score were abnormally high.

Roland pointed at the numbers.

"These are the results of someone who understands combat mechanics extremely well."

Mira tilted her head slightly.

"But where would a boy from the lower district learn something like that?"

No one answered.

The silence lasted several seconds.

Finally, Kael spoke.

"Keep watching him."

Roland nodded.

"Already planned."

He pressed another button.

A small notification appeared on the system.

Student Leo – Passive Observation Activated

From this moment on, Leo's training progress would be monitored more closely.

Not because he was powerful.

But because he was suspicious.

Back at the Dormitory

Leo returned to Dormitory D in the afternoon.

Kai was lying on his bed staring at the ceiling.

"You're officially weird now," he said immediately.

Leo raised an eyebrow.

"Why?"

Kai sat up.

"Everyone is talking about the drone thing."

Ryu leaned against the wall with crossed arms.

"You hit a moving joint during combat."

"That's not something beginners do."

Milan pushed his glasses up again.

"I checked the drone model earlier."

Leo looked at him.

"And?"

"That joint only appears for 0.3 seconds during its attack cycle."

Kai whistled.

"So yeah… not luck."

Leo placed his bag down calmly.

"I've watched a lot of fights."

Ryu frowned slightly.

"Watching doesn't give you that kind of timing."

Leo smiled faintly.

"Maybe I'm just observant."

Kai laughed.

"Well… if you're hiding secret martial arts training, you can tell us."

Leo didn't respond.

Instead he walked toward the window.

Outside, the academy training fields were still active.

Advanced students were practicing powerful techniques.

Explosions of magic lit up the evening sky.

This academy was full of talented individuals.

Future hunters.

Future heroes.

But to Leo…

Everything still looked slow.

He closed his eyes briefly.

Inside his chest, the sleeping god stirred once again.

Not because of danger.

But because something nearby had changed.

Somewhere inside the academy…

Another powerful presence had begun observing him.

Another Pair of Eyes

At that exact moment, on the highest tower of the academy, a familiar figure stood quietly.

Luna.

Her silver hair moved gently in the wind.

Her glowing violet eyes were focused on the dormitory buildings below.

Specifically…

Dormitory D.

She had watched the training session earlier.

And what she saw had confirmed her suspicions.

She whispered softly to herself.

"You're hiding far more than you show, Leo."

Her ability allowed her to see faint spiritual traces around people.

Most students had simple, weak auras.

But Leo's presence was different.

It looked like a calm night sky.

But deep inside that sky…

Something enormous slept.

Something ancient.

Something terrifying.

Luna looked up at the cracked sky above the academy.

"Whatever you are…"

She whispered quietly.

"You're not meant to stay hidden forever."

A Distant Awakening

Far beyond the human domains, in a dark forest filled with monstrous creatures, a massive shadow moved beneath the trees.

A powerful monster slowly opened its glowing eyes.

It sensed something faint.

A strange disturbance in the balance of the world.

A presence that felt…

Ancient.

The creature growled deeply.

Because for the first time in centuries…

Something new had appeared on Earth.

Something powerful enough to change everything.
