Chapter 3 - Why Is Everyone Talking About Me?

At his home, Tigor is planning something.

"Now you'll see, Tiger…" he mutters to himself with a dark smile.

The next day, Tiger is at school, thinking:

"Why are all the girls staring at me?"

Among them, a girl named Icchi whispers to her friend:

"He's the one who defeated Tigor, the No. 1 fighter…"

The whole school is buzzing, praising Tiger—especially his trainer. Icchi's friend nods:

"Yeah, I heard about it too."

Later, Tiger returns home to rest. But lurking in the shadows, Tigor is secretly stalking him. After a while, Tigor goes back to his place, continuing his plan.

That night, Tiger is asleep when his stepmother, Akira, tries to wake him. Suddenly,The walls tremble.

At first, Tiger thinks it's thunder.

Then the ceiling cracks.

Akira rushes into his room.

"Tiger, wake up!"

Before he can respond—

BOOM.

The front wall explodes inward.

A massive shadow fills the house.

A monstrous hand crashes through the doorway.

Akira pushes Tiger behind her.

"Run!"

The creature's eyes glow in the darkness. Its breath smells of decay.

Tiger grabs his mother's arm.

"I won't leave you!"

The monster's claws wrap around Akira's body.

She screams.

Tiger pulls with everything he has. His hands slip from blood and dust.

"Let her go!"

From outside, Tigor's voice echoes calmly:

"You defeated me in the arena… but can you protect what matters?"

The monster opens its jaws.

Akira looks at Tiger one last time.

"Live."

Then she is gone.

Silence.

The house collapses around him.

Tiger kneels in the rubble, shaking.

Not screaming.

Not crying.

Then Tigor and the monster vanish into the night, leaving Tiger in devastation.

When The next day came, Tiger goes to school. Everyone notices his silence and broken expression. Students whisper to each other:

"Why does Tiger look so depressed?"

"Something must have happened…"

His teacher asks him:

"Tiger, what's wrong?"

Tiger replies softly:

"Nothing, sir."

Days turn into years. Seven years pass. Tiger is often found sitting on the same swing where he used to think as a child. One day, sitting there again, he clenches his fists and whispers to himself:

"It's time… I'll take my revenge."
