"No. This cannot be right. You must be joking," Jugra growled, though the anger in his voice was thin and unstable beneath the disbelief.
Damian shrugged indifferently. There was no reason to prove anything to a dead man. Jugra had already lost two brothers, his plan had collapsed, and the only thing left for him now was to decide whether he wanted to die with dignity or scream until the end. Damian was about to take a step forward when he felt the world change.
The wind rose violently and the earth began trembling beneath his feet.
The ocean surged against the coastline as though something enormous had disturbed its depths. Rivers twisted through the land with unnatural force, their waters climbing against their own currents. Damian's gaze immediately shifted toward the mansion and then toward his yacht resting near the dock. Both were being affected by the sudden pressure spreading through the world.
His expression darkened.
"YOU DARE KILL MY PEOPLE?!"
