The journey back was uneventful. With their pursuers thrown off their trail, all Racheal and Damain had to do was wait for their return flight, which was scheduled for the following night.
By the morning of the third day, they had returned to the Maldives, while Lith and Loth flew straight to Chicago, where they were expected to secure an apartment near Damain's mansion and wait for his return. From that moment onward, they were to serve Damain directly.
Damain's stay in the Maldives did not last long. Most of the vacation had already been spent before the trip to Mexico, so only a few days later, they returned to the United States.
