Clutching his aching chest, Damian stood between his furious wives, shielding Hazel with his body. It was clear Ruby would have attacked her already if he had not stepped in.
When he inquired about the reason for the fight and explained the situation, Damian was not sure how to feel. On one hand, he felt flattered that his wives all wanted a piece of him, but on the other, he found the entire situation strangely amusing.
It took a great deal of effort to keep a straight face.
"I asked her for it. I was in desperate need of it. Do you expect her to disobey me?" Damian defended Hazel without a second thought.
"Exactly!" she chorused from behind him, only to receive a threatening glare from Ruby that made her lower her head and hide behind his back.
"If… if that's the case…"
