Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 : The birth of a demon

Li Feng knelt before the Demon Lord, the bitter taste of betrayal still fresh in his mind. The Demon Lord extended a small vial, filled with a crimson liquid that seemed to pulse with a life of its own.

"This is the Pill of the Demon,"

the Demon Lord said.

"Once you consume it, your body, soul, and blood will be transformed. You will become one of us—a being beyond mortal limitation. But remember… such power comes at a cost. Control it, or it will control you."

Without hesitation, Li Feng drank. The liquid burned like fire as it coursed through his veins, tearing down the remains of his old self. His senses sharpened; his strength surged; his soul screamed in delight and pain. When it was done, he felt… complete. He was no longer the boy abandoned by his sect, no longer the weak cultivator beaten by his family. He was something new—a demon in every sense.

The Demon Lord handed him two manuals.

"These are your first techniques,"

he said.

"The first allows you to absorb the cultivation of weaker opponents—draw their energy into your own body. The second is the sword technique of shadow and blood, designed for one who has walked the path of the demon."

Li Feng opened the manuals, his eyes alight with hunger.

"Thank you… my lord," Li Feng said hoarsely.

"How can I ever repay this kindness? From this day onward, my life belongs to you."

After those words, the Demon Lord helped him to his feet.

"You can repay this debt," the Demon Lord replied calmly,

"by mastering the techniques within these manuals and helping me complete my revenge."

He paused, his gaze turning cold.

"Your enemies and my enemies are the same—the heavenly Sect."

Then he waved his hand dismissively.

"Very well. Go and begin your training."

Li Feng bowed deeply.

Without hesitation, he turned and walked away to train.

He spent hours—days, perhaps—practicing the sword movements, feeling the flow of power, the merging of shadow and steel. He experimented with the first technique cautiously, touching the faint cultivation of weaker demons and feeling it siphoned into his own dantian.

For the first time in his life, Li Feng felt truly unstoppable. Every blow he practiced, every technique he absorbed, brought him closer to vengeance. The world that had betrayed him would feel the weight of his wrath soon enough.

The Demon Lord watched silently, satisfied.

"You are learning quickly, Li Feng. Remember, mastery is not just strength—it is precision, control, and the patience to strike at the perfect moment. Only then will the heavens tremble."

Li Feng's transformation was complete—not just in body, but in mind. He was a demon now. And he would train, grow, and one day, take back everything that was ever stolen from him.
