It had turned the next day from the apartments. They all got up at around 8 PM.
Hiko got up in Grandma's bed and just walked outside.
Hikari woke up like a normal person.
Obu woke up crying because of the scam.
Trickster woke up depressed knowing even his dad hates him.
Rin woke up happy after knowing that Hiko is probably suffering.
Akari woke up sad realising that he had probably drowned a kid and probably tomorrow he would be named "Worst hero of existence" Life is so miserable for everyone.
Johnny woke up bored and not ready to go to the academy today.
Apparently, the school had a volleyball game today. It was "The Fakers" vs the "The Losers" Yeah, this is definitely a one-way match. They all grabbed the regular school car. Hiko said "I heard, there is a part at a main Plaza in the city for the winner, since obviously we're gonna lose, why don't we just sneak in there?"
They all nodded up and down but Akari didn't. Not because he disagreed, but because he slept in the car. They finally went inside the academy. Walking in their fake premium outfits. It was just suits, they finally went into the gymnasium.
The teachers told them to sit down on the floor for the announcements to start. It was a final game, and two rounds were coming up for this. Everyone was insanely excited, which is what a delusional grandma would say.
They finally got up and the teacher announced the games. They got to the court. The whole world was watching, everyone. Only about 12 people were watching and they were on their phones. Either way, they were gonna try to beat them. They didn't explain the rules or anything. Hikari was confused about which team they were. The Sacreds or The Losers. Well, I wonder what it is. It's kind of obvious to them. They finally got on the court, it was a 7v7.
I'm sure you couldn't use your Spec in this situation, but who are they to know? They finally got the ball. The Sacreds to them, honestly looked like dumbasses. That was a line for their motivation.
The chosen one was Hikari, who was gonna serve the ball. She jumped up and hard hit the ball. Someone from the other team got it and another from the team hit it back, It was about to hit the ground until Obu slid through everyone and in time, hit it back up, It was perfect for him, he looked up, nerve-racked that he was gonna miss it.
He does and hits it before it lands on the ground. It's Hiko now, his chance to hit the ball and to score a point. Hiko sees the ball, kind of nervous, goes in and........misses.
Hiko missed the ball. But there was still a chance. No, it had already landed on the ground.
In this game, Trickster wasn't playing. He was sitting on the bench, thinking of some funny jokes to make people laugh. It kinda hurt since no one was with him, but he looks fine, like a happy normal person. Obviously, no one knows him inside, but he's just thinking. The others are losing badly.
The score is literally 4-0. No one has scored a point. Neither of them knew how to play the game at all. They just kept missing and kissing. Yes, they were accidentally kissing each other. Until they completely and just completely kept kissing.
Without even hesitation. No one scored in that match. It had ended with a few people cheering. The score at the end was 18-0.
Obu was crying for no reason but the others started breaking down. They really thought they were gonna win this, is what Trickster thought. They came back and went to their seats. They sat down talking about how stupid and how dumb their mistakes were.
Missing and missing each hit, missing and missing each block. Trickster knew they were trying to cover up their stupidity. No one had actually signed up for playing in that tourney, it was just the teacher who wanted to see if they could finally do something.
Well, unfortunately, no. They can't do anything. Not even win one volleyball game.
They saw the ref pull their hands up and everyone started cheering for them. So many people entered the room when they won. Earlier there was no one, they were kinda of confused. Why was it that when they played no one was watching, but when the other team won everyone walked in cheering. They didn't think too much of it, it was just a volleyball game.
Suddenly a man walks up to them and says "How are you guys this bad at volleyball, I feel bad for you guys." They were tired of that nonsense. They promised each other it never play a volleyball game again. They kept yapping about how they could beat them if they used their Specs. Most likely they would but they couldn't.
Really, no one had as good a skill as Akari. It was just them. Everyone is so useless.
Trickster thought of some funny jokes he thought of. They started planning out the Plaza entrance for tomorrow that was gonna happen. They finally went back to their class to see that their teacher was not there.
Where was he? Obu saw a paper on the desk, but he couldn't reach it so Rin picked him up and told him to read it out loud. It had written "You guys are losers, I'm in the crowd chanting their names, feel disgraced, it's just a volleyball game" Well. No one enjoyed reading or hearing that.
The room was off and dim. They decided they should just go back to the apartments. Trickster then thought he should go back to his comedy show and tell his funny jokes to everyone.
Trickster left the academy and went to his comedy show. The others just went to their basic apartments. Hiko started crying at his apartment because of what Rin had done.
Trickster finally arrived at his comedy show. It was free so anyone could walk in.
Although there was no one walking in. Trickster kept smiling and rehearsing his jokes.
Finally, a man walked in, it was his father. The only one in the empty seats. His father sat down. Trickster said his first joke out loud.
"Do you know why the apple is a human body? It's because it's a pp" No one laughed. Just Trickster himself. His dad didn't even clap or say anything. His dad left the place instantly. Trickster's smile faded, more so in a version of sadness. He started scratching his head. He knows his dad always laughs at his jokes.
What happened this time? Trickster thought his dad hates him now. There was no other explanation. A few minutes later a couple had walked in. The couple realized there was no one in the crowd. Trickster said his next joke back with his smile again.
"What is a pineapple's worst thing on a human body? It's tongue... get it because, like when you eat pineapples like your tongue starts hurting." They fucked Trickster off and left. Trickster stopped his comedy show and ripped all his notes up.
Trickster left the place and again started crying at his apartment. Not only were his jokes not funny, but neither would his dad even have a faint smile on his face.
