Chapter 32 – Should I Even Bother?
"Oh, uh. What a coincidence, Raven."
"Are you sure you weren't stalking me? Also, my name was Crow."
"No, Crow sounds ominous. They eat corpses, don't you know? Raven sound a lot cuter."
I had lost count of how many times I facepalmed because of this woman.
Since they were following me, I couldn't do anything. These women were wind musou knights. They could sacrifice their musou gauge to speed up. I guessed they had used my wine to fly here.
"So, what did you want?" I asked her straight. I didn't enjoy beating around the bush.
Lia coughed and answered. "We rushed here to replenish some water before we took a long journey back home. We had no intention of bothering you."
"I see. Goodnight, then."
"One more thing."
"What?"
"Your magic food…"
Here came troubles. I took a deep breath and glanced at my weapons, which I had left in the minecart. If push came to shove, I would use musou bare hands and beat the hell out of these greedy women.
