Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Ordinary Kryptonians have their limits

He wanted to open a company and sell Super Soldier Compound One.

Besides making money, Alex also planned to use this human enhancement technology to disguise his own powers.

After all, the Marvel Universe has DC comics, but here, DC comics are just comics, not the DC Universe.

His abilities are highly similar to Superman's, which might lead people to wonder if he is a Kryptonian or something.

Although this World does not have Kryptonite, it has magic, and it is unknown if there will be a red Sun.

Even without a red Sun, it is not impossible for humans to research and analyze.

For example, Tony Stark, a man cursed with knowledge, and Mister Fantastic Reed Richards, who is an incredible guy who believes if he thinks it can work, it will, constantly producing black technology.

What if they research the spectrum of a red Sun and hit him with it?

So, Alex prepared for a rainy day, developing human enhancement technology, planning to say in the future that he uses the most advanced human enhancement technology he developed, and what he sells to others are merely outdated products.

This is how companies in America operate; the American government and officials are accustomed to it and take it for granted.

Almost all advanced technologies and high-end products in this country are purchased from the companies of capitalists, such as well-known brands like Boeing and General Electric. Under the inducement of profit and money, companies in this country are very active in developing and researching advanced technologies for profit.

However, they will not sell the best things to America; this is actually a very simple truth.

If they sold the best technology at the very beginning, then the outdated technologies or subpar products produced during the development process would be equivalent to waste, losing their value, wouldn't they?

This is unacceptable to capitalists who believe that maximizing profit is the mark of a qualified capitalist.

They plan to even sell stones for money, so how could they let go of these subpar products?

Of course, they package them, give them a concept, leave a design, set an expectation, and then sell these outdated things, extracting every last bit of their value.

It's like selling first-generation products while developing fourth or even fifth-generation products.

By doing this, Alex will only make people envious and think he is too outrageous for hiding so much, but no one will think he is a natural Mutant or Inhuman.

There are many Mutants in the Marvel Universe, not just Mutants; these Mutants usually suddenly awaken superpowers, or they mutate due to research into Super Soldier technology. They are abundant, and many Marvel villains come about this way.

Inhumans, on the other hand, are a race.

Alex has too many abilities; Mutants and Inhumans usually only have one ability, at most two or three.

But he has Heat Vision, Super Strength, Freeze Breath, Super Speed, Super Defense, Flight, etc. He doesn't look like he was created by mutation.

They will naturally think that Alex is very likely a fervent fan of Superman who technologically synthesized and modified himself, which is why his abilities are so similar.

Of course, he is not in a hurry to expose these superpowers of his yet.

"Tony Stark has also placed an order with us..."

Alex looked at the information thoughtfully. He was currently learning programming, planning to create an artificial intelligence like Jarvis to assist him in handling Monarch Company's affairs. He didn't need Jarvis's source code, as that might allow Tony Stark to invade through potential backdoors or vulnerabilities.

Tony Stark is very interested in Compound One, human enhancement technology. Currently, it seems to have no side effects. America is very careful and cautious; some is used for research, and some is injected into volunteer American soldiers.

Incidentally, Tony Stark also condemned Monarch Company's act of selling Compound One to local armed organizations in Afghanistan, believing Alex was funding America's enemies.

Unfortunately, he, who prides himself on justice, doesn't know that his own company's various advanced weapons have been smuggled and sold to Afghanistan; otherwise, who knows if he could still be so arrogant.

Alex was already mentally prepared for public pressure; part of it was the capitalists' probing, and part was the actions of keyboard warriors who prided themselves on justice. However, for Alex, he only needs to make money, regardless of his reputation.

He is currently in a room he designed himself, which can maximize and focus sunlight.

Kryptonians have a limit; not all Kryptonians are Superman, capable of transcending the limitations of their genes.

Alex speculates that he only needs to maintain this prolonged exposure to sunlight, and soon all his cells will be saturated, at which point he will no longer be able to grow stronger.

However, it's not certain; perhaps prolonged exposure could allow him to evolve slowly?

"Ordinary Kryptonians have limits, so I need to figure out how to turn myself into a Doomsday that won't lose control!"
