Chapter 134 - Chapter 47: First Meeting with Little Liya

Merlin, bewildered by Zeus's sudden remark, looked at the suddenly frantic Zeus with a face full of question marks.

"Nothing? I just suddenly feel a little uncomfortable inside."

Zeus covered her chest, feeling no conscience, and gave Merlin a wry smile.

"Do you need me to treat you? You were indeed frail and sickly when you were little."

Merlin looked at Zeus worriedly. In her impression, Guinevere was a quiet child, like an angel. Had she changed as she grew up? Hmm! She had indeed grown up. Merlin looked at the two mounds on Zeus's chest, then at her own flat chest, and suddenly had an urge to hit someone.

"No, thank you."

Zeus politely refused. Merlin, suddenly in a bad mood, had a chaotic mind and needed to sort things out.

"How did you get here? And did you see anyone suspicious?"

Merlin, having recovered from her inexplicable disappointment, looked at the large pit behind Zeus and questioned her. Although, in her impression, Guinevere had high magical talent, she hadn't learned magic because she was too young, so it was impossible for her to cause such a big commotion. Merlin immediately ruled out the 'powerless' Zeus.

"I didn't see anything, I heard a loud bang, so I came to take a look."

Zeus lied without batting an eyelid. In Zeus's mind, it was better to avoid trouble, and it was best not to attract attention.

"Hmm! Never mind, I'll send you back first! It looks like you ran away on your own."

Merlin frowned and pondered for a moment. It was better to send the future Queen back first! To prevent anything from happening that might affect the course of history, which could potentially cause the world to collapse.

"No, let me play by myself!"

Zeus, whose acting skills had greatly improved, said capriciously to Merlin. After all, she was playing a princess now, so it was better to have a bit of a princess complex and be a little willful.

"Don't be silly, do you know how dangerous it is outside?"

Merlin said to Zeus speechlessly. She was completely fooled by Zeus's acting. Who could blame her? She had only met Guinevere when she was a child, not grown up with her. This way, she couldn't find any flaws in Zeus.

"Then, can I go to your place to play?"

Zeus was also very interested in this legendary mage. It was said that her ability could see through the future, and King Arthur's entire life had been predicted by her, and every prediction had come true. Later, during King Arthur's later years, she suddenly disappeared, and no one knew where she went. Some said she returned to Avalon, and others said she was imprisoned by the Lady of the Lake, Viviane. Such mysterious things couldn't help but arouse people's curiosity, and Zeus now felt that curiosity.

"Alright, come with me!"

After thinking for a moment, Merlin agreed to Zeus's request. She really didn't feel at ease with this 'willful princess' outside. Who knew how she ran out of the palace? It was just too much! Merlin wanted to curse, but with her century of upbringing, she held back. It was also good for the 'future Queen' to meet the King in advance, Merlin comforted herself.

Just like that, Zeus bluffed her way through, and then slowly followed behind Merlin. Now, teasing little Liya was also good.

"Uh! Merlin, what a cute child, is she your daughter?"

Zeus had a polite smile on her face, but she was actually laughing internally. Ignoring Merlin, whose face was as black as a pot, she pointed to little Artoria, who was sprawled on a book, sleeping soundly. Uh! She was even drooling at the corner of her mouth, so cute! Just like a little lion cub sleeping soundly, she really wanted to stroke her fur.

"Arthur, it's time to eat."

Merlin finally suppressed her anger and spoke to the sleeping Artoria. The effect was outstanding, and the little one instantly woke up, then stood up and ran outside.

However, she was stopped by Merlin. This scene left Zeus dumbfounded. Seeing the familiarity, Zeus knew that Merlin had done this many times. However, she didn't expect King Arthur to be so interesting as a child, and to have awakened her royal appetite from a young age. It was truly amazing. Please forgive Zeus's poor vocabulary, as she couldn't find any polite words to describe the glutton in front of her.

"Eh~, Teacher Merlin."

Little Liya, who had finally overcome her appetite, stared intently at Merlin in front of her, like a little lion cub that would bite if not fed.

"Have you finished memorizing?"

But Merlin slowly floated a question, which instantly deflated the little one.

"Almost."

"Then go memorize it. You can't eat until you finish."

"Yes."

The little one, looking deflated, returned to her chair, picked up the dictionary-thick book, and began to memorize.

"You, come here."

Merlin looked at Zeus, who was watching the show, and said to her with displeasure, then walked out of the room first. Zeus glanced at the little one and found that she was staring at her. Zeus showed a perfect smile, patted her little head, and left.

Seeing the beautiful Big Sister leave, little Liya felt a pang of disappointment. She had thought she would have a beautiful playmate, but she was called away by Teacher Merlin again. But now, the most important thing was to complete the learning task assigned by her teacher, otherwise, not having dinner tonight would be the worst.

"Now, come with me! I will send you back to the palace."

Merlin looked at Zeus, who was suddenly laughing very happily, without a good temper, and then expressed her intention to send Zeus back to the palace.

"I, I don't want to go back yet."

Zeus refused with a smile. She hadn't played enough with little Liya. The adult Liya was as serious as a statue, not at all as fun as she was as a child, and she was very cute, just like a doll.

"No, it's not good for you to stay here."

Merlin said to Zeus seriously. She was afraid that Zeus would affect King Arthur's learning progress. Great Britain couldn't wait much longer now.

"Teach me the magic you know, and I'll leave."

Merlin looked at Zeus in surprise. She found it a bit hard to believe that 'Guinevere' was interested in magic, but after thinking about it, she nodded and agreed. However, she only gave Zeus a notebook she had written herself and a few magic books, and then stopped bothering with Zeus. In her opinion, 'Guinevere,' with her three-minute attention span for everything, would never learn magic.

And Zeus, after getting the items, also listened to Merlin's words and went to find her own place to stay first. It was better to spend less time around Artoria, because she was someone Gaia favored, and too much contact could easily reveal inconsistencies.

So Zeus sat in the carriage sent by her 'father King' and followed it back to the palace.
