Chapter 122 - Chapter 35: Origami's Spirit Power Awakening

"Please hand her over to me. This is my personal matter."

Origami looked coldly at Kuesumi and her younger self in her arms. She just wanted to shoot her younger self right now.

"No, she's my trophy. If you want one, go find your own."

Kuesumi looked at Origami and understood her feelings, but she couldn't let this child self-destruct here.

"I never thought you were so cute when you were little!"

Looking at the small Origami, who had already fainted in her arms, Kuesumi stroked her cute little face, teasing the expressionless Origami who was still holding a pistol nearby.

"Are you so tired of living? Do you want to abandon your friendships and love?"

Kuesumi looked at Origami, whose eyes were still filled with deathly despair, and anger suddenly flared within her. She asked Origami.

"..."

As if Kuesumi had hit a nerve, she suddenly remembered her cheerful and very kind captain, and one by one, her teammates with whom she had fought. As for love, she had never even tried to experience it.

"It's been five years. You already have your own life. Wouldn't it be better to just consider your parents' deaths as natural? Besides, if your parents saw you like this, would they be happy? They would probably be heartbroken."

Kuesumi, seeing Origami waver a little, struck while the iron was hot. Suddenly, Kuesumi caught sight of something. A slight smile played on her lips. It truly was perfect timing!

"Besides, if it weren't for that pile of mosaic's provocation, things wouldn't have turned out this way. So your enemy isn't yourself, but that thing. See? It's looking at you mockingly."

Kuesumi pointed at the mosaic standing on a nearby rooftop, redirecting Origami's hatred, though it wasn't entirely wrong; that thing was indeed the main culprit.

Following the direction Kuesumi pointed, Origami did indeed see the mosaic watching the commotion. Most of the deathly despair in Origami's eyes dissipated, and anger burned from deep within her. Although Kuesumi's words had made her waver for a moment, instantly establishing an enemy allowed her emotions to calm down slightly.

Thus, Kuesumi watched with satisfaction as Origami, with anger burning in her eyes, charged towards the mosaic with her light saber.

After finding an ambulance and entrusting the little Origami to them, Kuesumi also began searching for the mosaic, intending to help Origami.

"Die! Die! Die!"

From far away, Origami's powerful roars could be heard, along with various explosion sounds. Kuesumi sighed inwardly and flew towards the sound. She saw the one-person-and-one-mosaic standoff. Origami had unconsciously activated the dormant Spirit Power in her body, and her attire had changed. She was now able to fight the mosaic for dozens of rounds.

Because Origami had just gained control of her Spirit Power, she was not yet very skilled, and she quickly fell into a disadvantage. Just as Kuesumi was about to step in to help, Origami was expelled by the world of this time, sent back to her original time.

"Oh my, how did it go back so quickly? Never mind. Let's settle our scores then! It died so fast."

With a cold smile, Kuesumi appeared before the mosaic.

"I don't recall any grievances between us?"

The mosaic asked, confused. She truly didn't know how she could have created such a powerful Spirit. From her perception, Kuesumi's Spirit Power was even superior to her own before she had dispersed her power. This made her both confused and wonder if it was a new Spirit born from the Kabbalah Tree of Life, and not an artificial one.

How could that be? She was the embodiment of all the Sephiroth of the Kabbalah Tree of Life merged together. It should be impossible for another Initial Spirit to be born again in such a short time. All the current Spirits were artificially created by her, implanting impure Spirit Power crystals into their bodies, then killing them to purify the crystals. The accumulated power would eventually be enough to change the entire world. So, what exactly was going on with this Spirit in front of her?

"It's not good to be distracted during a fight!"

No matter how vigilant she was, having distributed so much Spirit Power to create Spirits, her body couldn't keep up with Kuesumi's speed. In just one encounter, Kuesumi covered her arm with abundant Spirit Power and pierced through her lower abdomen.

"How can you be so strong?"

Her face was not visible now, but her surprise and unwillingness could be heard in her tone. Blood flowed down Kuesumi's arm. Kuesumi ignored her words, withdrew her hand, and instantly a large amount of blood gushed out. The ground slowly began to be stained, and the mosaic on her body started to become chaotic, as if it was about to disappear.

"No, I can't die yet. I haven't seen'Shin' yet. I can't die here."

She suddenly burst out with immense power, pushing the unprepared Kuesumi five meters away. Kuesumi, having slightly steadied herself, looked at the traces of blood on her hand. She had collected enough. She ignored the fleeing mosaic; with this, she would have a way to find its hiding place at any time.

"Well, it's time to go back."

Sensing the subtle repulsion from this time, Kuesumi followed her instincts back to her original time. On her way home, she saw Origami squatting by the roadside and casually picked up this greatly traumatized Origami, whose beliefs and spirit had been severely damaged. Origami was so helpless at this moment that Kuesumi was a little worried, so she brought her home.

In her vacant blue eyes, deep hatred and deathly despair were revealed. It seemed her inner turmoil would not be so easily resolved.

Then, what greeted Kuesumi was not a welcome, but three pairs of scrutinizing eyes.

Wait, could this be the prelude to a love triangle? Kuesumi, sweating profusely, pulled Origami inside the door.

"Oh dear, my beloved has brought another new girl. Are we no longer enough for you?"

After a moment of silence, Kurumi began to maliciously tease Kuesumi again. Muku looked at Kuesumi with her big, watery purple eyes, making Kuesumi feel an inexplicable sense of guilt. Moreover, Kuesumi still hadn't figured out how Muku had gotten into her bed that morning without being discovered. Had she been too complacent lately, letting her guard down? This was not good news.

Nia watched Kuesumi's love triangle from the side with a slightly profound gaze, while drawing some indescribable things in her hand. It seemed she planned to resume her old profession. Teacher Cang (Nia) was about to make a comeback. Young men, you are in for a treat.

"It seems I'm not very welcome here. I should go!"

Origami said to Kuesumi, who was holding her hand and refusing to let go, after giving her surroundings a cold glance.

"No! We welcome you, fellow countryman."

Kurumi had not expected Origami to sense her abnormality so quickly. She already knew why Kuesumi had brought Origami back. With a polite smile, Kurumi still welcomed Origami's arrival.

"Welcome home, Origami."

Smiling and nodding in satisfaction at Kurumi, Kuesumi thought to herself, "How am I going to deal with this one?" when Kurumi gave her a 'you were great last night' look. She then smiled and pushed Origami through the door.

"Tadaima (I'm home!)"

Origami's mind was blank, she didn't know why, but her body had said something she hadn't intended to, going against her own thoughts. Looking at the smiling Kuesumi beside her, Origami felt that this wasn't so bad.
