The rainbow light descended, and Heisenberg retraced his path back to stand before Heimdall.
Seeing this, Heimdall smiled with appreciation.
"You mastered it far more quickly than I expected. It seems you possess an innate gift for sensing energy!"
"Not just energy. If I wished, I seem to have an absolute gift for everything."
Heisenberg replied with a quip, casually handing the布尔特钢 back to Heimdall.
"I can already guess the next step required. That surging sense of conduction布尔特钢 gave me simply needs me to use an incantation to stir it into activity.
So, tell me the spell."
"That is simple, Your Majesty!"
Heimdall immediately taught Heisenberg the Vanir magic incantation used to channel the power of the Bifrost.
A moment later, Heimdall gave his final summary.
"This incantation is a product of the modifications Lady Frigga made to traditional Vanir magic after she came to Asgard.
The literal meaning of the incantation, in the ancient Vanir tongue, is..."
"Let us fall into the abyss, for the abyss is everywhere!"
Before Heimdall could explain, Heisenberg answered for him. Thanks to the Universal Language Pack gifted by the System, Heisenberg naturally understood the incantation's meaning.
"That is correct, Your Majesty. It seems you have studied the Vanir sufficiently as well.
This Abyss Incantation is typically used for small-scale Bifrost transport, meaning for only a few people, or a dozen at most.
As for large-scale operations, such as the grand spell Lady Frigga used yesterday before the battle began, which transported two hundred and twenty thousand Asgardian soldiers, it has its own unique incantation."
"And what is that?"
"Please recite it in the ancient Vanir language you just used:
Lend me thy wings, that I may rise with the wind. Lend me thy vessel, that I may fall against the current!"
"A couplet in the Germanic style. Understood!"
Heisenberg nodded, then silently chanted the words in his mind.
At first, no matter how he recited them, that energy fluctuation similar to the布尔特钢 was difficult to grasp.
However, even the most minute change in energy could be swiftly detected by Heisenberg's superhuman senses.
Thus, through constant trial and error, in barely two minutes, a satisfied smile spread across Heisenberg's face.
These ancient Vanir incantations, the language was not so different from Germanic dialects, making them quite easy to master.
Heisenberg softly recited the Abyss Incantation, and in a flash, the rainbow light sent him back to his own theater!
Moments later, Heisenberg returned before Heimdall, satisfied, and clapped him on the shoulder.
"Much easier than I imagined!"
"Of course, Your Majesty. Your divine power is as boundless as the sun, so you can naturally withstand the side effects of these incantations.
If it were me, even using just the Abyss Incantation would leave me dizzy for over five minutes, let alone the more powerful and far-reaching Bifrost itself."
At this, Heimdall gave Heisenberg a deep look, then offered a final explanation.
"Additionally, Your Majesty, you may have already sensed this.
Although we call it the Bifrost, in truth, this is not an energy unique to Asgard.
The Bifrost contained within Asgard is merely a large convergence point of this energy within the universe.
Therefore, whether Asgard exists or not, even if you were to travel to other universes, you could still freely use these incantations to link to the translocation force within that universe.
It would simply consume far more divine power!"
"Hmm, understood." Heisenberg nodded.
During his earlier practice, Heisenberg had indeed sensed what Heimdall described.
When he used the incantation to mobilize translocation force, it wasn't just Asgard's Bifrost that answered him.
Countless forces across the macrocosm were also establishing connections with him.
This also explained why, even after Asgard was blown entirely into dust, Thor could still freely use the Bifrost for transport.
Because the Bifrost is not a specialty of the Aesir; it is their special talent!
This was a crucial distinction, because now, Heisenberg could be said to have mastered a universal method of transport effective across all universes!
And this characteristic of the Bifrost was precisely what the magic of the Ancient Order could not achieve.
The magic of the Ancient Order, much like the Infinity Stones, is a product of borrowing power from Eternity and the Vishanti.
If Heisenberg took the Ancient Order's magic and the Infinity Stones back to the DC universe, a world without Eternity or the goddess Infinity,
both the stones and the magic would cease to function.
Thus, gaining the Bifrost delighted Heisenberg immensely. He had saved yet another chunk of Origin Substance.
Because he no longer needed to purchase a multi-universal teleportation or translocation method from the System.
Having learned the Bifrost, Heisenberg surveyed his surroundings, then turned his gaze back to Heimdall.
"As of now, the palace has no particular need for me here.
I will return to Earth to rest. Asgard is in your hands for now.
Lead the people in repairing the city and the palace completely. Matters like reward and punishment systems, you should know better than I do. I don't need to give special instructions.
For now, the only thing I need you to monitor and report to me is the issue of Hela.
The Eldest Princess's brain was beaten into a pulp. Unable to actively channel divine power to heal her injuries, she will be unconscious for at least three days.
When she wakes, inform me. I will return promptly to prevent her from doing something none of us can accept in her fury and humiliation.
That is all."
Finishing his words, Heisenberg patted the obedient Heimdall on the shoulder, then cast his gaze distantly toward the palace, where Frigga stood gazing back in silence.
"Oh, and tell Frigga that the divine positions of the royal family will remain unchanged for the time being. She still retains her past rights and duties.
Also, I will personally forge my armor after Asgard's reconstruction is complete. Tell her not to worry.
I'm off."
As his voice faded, the light of the Bifrost surged forth, and Heisenberg vanished without a trace.
After he left, Heimdall nodded thoughtfully.
"This king's desire for control over power is far less than I imagined. This is truly a gift of fate."
Muttering to himself, he made his way to the palace and relayed Heisenberg's instructions to Frigga.
At the same time, Frigga had already dispatched handmaidens to carry the Eldest Princess, whose face had been planted in the dirt, back to her miraculously still-standing chambers to rest.
...
On Earth.
Heisenberg did not go straight home. Instead, another Bifrost beam brought him to a spot not far from Sigmund.
Patting Sigmund on the shoulder, Heisenberg casually gave an order.
"After mopping up the remaining scattered remnants of the Chitauri, bring everyone to New York to see me."
"Yes!"
Sigmund answered crisply. Heisenberg turned and left.
In the next instant, he was back in his own courtyard, reclining in his lounge chair, thoroughly basking in the sun's rays!
Because he now held the divine position of Sun God, the effects of sunlight on him were not only greatly enhanced, but his body was also radiating power from within, reinforcing him.
It made him feel warm all over. Tsk, he couldn't possibly be more comfortable.
In just a few short moments, Heisenberg had fallen fast asleep.
While Heisenberg rested, the world remained in chaos.
But the chaos among Earth's people now was no longer the fear of aliens they had felt moments ago.
It had evolved into greed for alien technology!
Even now, countless fortunate souls untouched by the ravages of war were rushing to the places the Chitauri had appeared, gathering the innumerable alien materials and technologies!
The U.S. government did have the intention of locking down everything related to the aliens.
But they had the intention, yet truly lacked the power.
For the scale of this alien invasion was simply too vast!
It had spread across at least fourteen states, affecting over seventy-two cities large and small. With the war still in its final stages and unable to be fully concluded in a short time,
how could America possibly have the ability to lock down such a vast area?
And so, countless Chitauri technological products were snatched up directly by the earliest responders to the salvage operations: various black marketeers and smugglers.
Within a single day, those damnable fellows had actually standardized the industry pricing for alien goods and were shipping them out to nearly every country in the world.
While the Americans suffering from the invasion were still taking cover, their countrymen had long since turned their blood and tears into untold amounts of cash.
At the same time, the various technologies acquired by local smugglers were ultimately only the small portion.
As for the lion's share, to be blunt,
the moment the nations of the world confirmed that the Asgardian soldiers were not Earth's enemies, they pulled the bulk of their military forces away from the front lines.
One second, they were prepared to sacrifice themselves for Earth's safety.
The next, the fighting had become Asgard's task.
As for their own troops...
Heh. The battlefields weren't just filled with unrestrained locals and smugglers.
Those types were merely hyenas trailing behind the lions, picking at the scraps.
At this very moment, the largest-scale movers of technology were, of course, the various national militaries.
The soldiers who had originally come to the battlefield to fight for their lives transformed in an instant into ants toiling without pause.
Look almost anywhere a Chitauri had passed, and you could see soldiers in every kind of national uniform, dispersing in all directions, scavenging.
At the same time, there were innumerable men in black suits, members of various shadow organizations.
They prowled every corner of the battlefield.
These groups frequently clashed with assorted military organizations over certain intact Chitauri weapons.
Such conflicts began from the moment the Chitauri were largely annihilated and persisted for three full days afterward.
Even when Heisenberg received word of Hela's awakening, the chaos on Earth had not ceased. Indeed, it had only intensified.
And Heisenberg, resting as he was, observed all this chaos.
The spectacle left him immensely satisfied.
The reason Heisenberg had orchestrated a large-scale alien battle on Earth in the first place.
The reason he had not ordered the Asgardian soldiers to guard their spoils of war.
Was precisely because Heisenberg wanted to forcibly cram that alien technology down the throats of Earth's people!
Not just the basic Chitauri energy weapons and small skiffs, but even the massive Chitauri mothership. Heisenberg planned to find time to deal with that as well.
Simply find some excuse to split the mothership into dozens of pieces, then leave it unattended. The people of Earth would promptly beat each other to a pulp over the ownership of each section.
Thanks to the swift response of the world's nations, and even more thanks to those smugglers with influence reaching to the heavens.
In three days, alien technology products spread wider and wider across Earth, increasingly aligning with the future Heisenberg had planned for its people.
Without getting their hands on countless alien technologies, how could Earth's people possibly follow Heisenberg's plan and embark on a great voyage beyond the solar system?
Thinking this, three days later, Heisenberg raised his right hand and opened a Bifrost gate to Asgard.
Hela was awake.
