Chapter 115 - Gap Moe

After patting the child's shoulder with a heart full of pain, Tony let go, ready to continue rescuing others.

But just then, Tony suddenly felt the air around him subtly vibrate.

As the air vibrated, he and the child both heard Heisenberg's voice.

"Testing, testing, hello. You should all be able to hear me, right?"

Heisenberg was using his bio-field to vibrate the air within its range, transmitting his words directly to everyone's ears.

Since this was his first time using the technique, a quick mic check was only natural.

When he finished, he saw everyone's stunned expressions through his super vision and nodded in satisfaction.

"Okay, good evening, everyone.

This is Heisenberg. Yes, the very same Heisenberg causing all the commotion in New York.

I've wiped out every alien creature within a thirty-kilometer radius of Oklahoma, but I still need to reinforce other cities. I don't have time to stay here and guarantee this land won't be invaded by more aliens that follow.

So, before any of that happens, go find someplace you think is safe and hide!"

With that, Heisenberg cut off his field and flew straight to Iron Man's side.

Boom!

Heisenberg's characteristically heavy landing cracked the ground beneath him.

In his mind, what was the point of takeoffs and landings without a little special effects? Where was the style in that?

Beside him, the child's eyes flickered with a mix of terror and yearning as Heisenberg patted Tony on the shoulder.

"You stay here. Organize whatever military and police Oklahoma still has for rescue operations. I'm heading elsewhere!"

"Okay!"

Tony nodded, dazed.

Minutes ago, he had felt a tiny bit of resentment toward Heisenberg.

He had believed Heisenberg could have stopped the alien fleet before it reached Earth.

But now, having truly experienced this power that could level a city with a single thought...

He was just grateful that Earth still had Heisenberg, a trump card that barely even qualified as a trump card!

Elsewhere, Heisenberg shot into the sky, intending to fly straight to Lincoln City.

But between the clouds ahead of him, another portal suddenly appeared!

Ancient One, you truly get me!

Heisenberg whooshed through the portal and arrived at the New York Sanctum where the Ancient One stood.

Nearby, the smiling Ancient One stood beside yet another portal, towering and ready.

Heisenberg blinked and rushed through the second portal, instantly appearing above Lincoln City.

And from the other side of the portal he had just passed through, the Ancient One's voice drifted after him.

"Once you're done, go to Asgard immediately and learn to operate the Bifrost!"

"Uh..."

Heisenberg nodded speechlessly, then plunged into Lincoln, unleashing his field the same way he had before.

In less than two minutes, Heisenberg circled Denver, sweeping through nearby major cities like Oklahoma, Lincoln, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and more, top to bottom.

His outrageously boundless actions completely sapped the strength of world governments that had been racking their brains in desperation.

At the United Nations, delegates sat in a daze, glancing at one another.

Even the representatives of Japan and South Korea had stopped fighting.

Meanwhile, U.S. military representative General Ross stared at the satellite projection of the awe-inspiring Heisenberg and swallowed hard.

After a moment, he pursed his lips.

"If this Mr. Heisenberg were to fly around the Earth a few times with that terrifying field of his..."

"You're right," the British representative nodded, finishing Ross's unspoken thought. "He would only need a few laps to exterminate all life on the planet!"

Hearing the British representative, the Russian delegate shook his head in denial.

"You're all wrong. Earth and humanity aren't as troublesome to him as you think.

He can withstand the high temperatures of most regions of the Sun, and he possesses heat vision capable of piercing any obstacle.

Whether by himself or using his abilities, if he simply pierced the Earth's core..."

"Damn it all!" The French representative cursed on the spot. "The only thing I can think about right now is, if he decides to rule Earth, will we even have time to surrender?"

"Heh..."

Listening to the French representative's millennia-old grand surrender doctrine, the Chinese delegate shook his head with disdain.

"Boosting the enemy's morale while diminishing our own!"

The delegate patted his hands as he spoke.

"With the Superman intervening, the alien threat will soon be resolved.

It seems we no longer need to send additional troops for the rescue operation America requested.

After this incident is over, all of you should consider following our example, viewing superhumans from an inclusive and harmonious perspective, and work hard to build a social ecosystem where ordinary people and super-powered individuals coexist!

It is because of this policy that China never fears any threat. Even when we cannot defeat an opponent, we still have the capability to protect ourselves.

As for the reason, you all know it well.

We have the Spear of Heaven, and we have the People United!!!"

...

Setting aside the various squabbles unfolding at the UN meeting, Heisenberg, having roughly slaughtered over 2.6 million Chitauri, finally passed through a portal and arrived at their most concentrated city.

Denver.

In the sky above, Heisenberg gazed at the current wasteland.

Tsk tsk, those poor Nuggets fans won't be seeing their team shine again for quite some time.

After all, Denver itself had almost been wiped off the map.

Heisenberg's appearance was noticed by the many legion commanders overseeing the entire battlefield.

Led by the vanguard Hela, the last 1.1 million Chitauri gathered in Denver were being systematically butchered by the Asgardian legions, steadily tightening their encirclement.

So for Asgard, the battle was essentially decided.

Thus, most legion commanders looked to the sky and simultaneously raised their weapons with one hand.

Not to fight, but as a gesture of reverence.

Asgardian etiquette.

Noticing the submission and reverence from most legion commanders, Heisenberg nodded with satisfaction.

Especially that stubborn, hard-to-deal-with Lady Sif. Even she hesitated before raising her longsword.

The defection of this diehard truly gratified Heisenberg beyond measure.

Heisenberg raised his right hand, and Gungnir, still embedded in faraway New York, immediately shot toward him.

No one knew exactly how fast these divine artifacts were, but in just one second, Gungnir arrived in Heisenberg's grip.

Whoosh!!!

A violent roaring flame erupted, and in the blink of an eye, brilliant fire blazed across Heisenberg's body.

The flames radiated incomparable light, forcing most people across Denver to shut their eyes in shock.

The Asgardian soldiers who had never seen Heisenberg before continued beheading the Chitauri before them while stealing glances at him on the horizon.

"That's the light of the late Prince Baldur!"

"No, it feels stronger than that. Could it be that not only is the prince not dead, but he has returned even stronger?"

"Wrong, that's not the prince. I saw the prince's face when he was alive. That's someone else!"

"Then who is he? His style is similar to Prince Tyr, bare-chested like that?"

"Those pants are Midgardian style. Does Midgard have its own God of Light?"

"Perhaps they call him the Sun God?"

Hearing the bewildered chatter of countless soldiers, the smarter legion commanders quickly seized the chance to tell their subordinates about Heisenberg.

As for the brainless or stubborn ones, even if they weren't ready to submit so quickly, they didn't dare show any dissatisfaction toward Heisenberg either.

This utterly bizarre atmosphere made Hela, who had been thoroughly enjoying the slaughter, look up in fury.

Watching the dazzling figure on the horizon, Hela gritted her teeth and casually grabbed an Asgardian warrior nearby.

Pointing at the miniature sun in the distance, Hela snarled at the soldier.

"Who is that?"

"Don't know, don't recognize, never seen him!"

"Damn it, he's holding Gungnir. His identity is blindingly obvious!

Even so, you still try to hide him from me? Do you want him dead by my hand that badly?!?"

Hela roared furiously and then hurled the soldier in her grip far away.

She didn't bother asking anyone else. Instead, she simply shot into the sky, stopping to hover right across from Heisenberg.

Shing!!!

The sound of blades being drawn was endless. Thousands of grip-less longswords lined up neatly behind Hela.

And the tips of those blades were naturally aimed at the utterly indifferent Heisenberg.

"Heisenberg!!!"

Hela roared in rage.

"You had your soldiers hide your identity from me right before my eyes! But how did you not know that Loki already told me your name!

Now I stand before you. Odin's daughter stands before you.

Can you not even muster the courage to admit who you..."

"Stop."

Heisenberg simply raised his hand, cutting off whatever nonsense Hela was about to spout next.

Then, carrying Gungnir, he absently drifted over beside her.

"An hour ago, when Odin died by my hand, he mentioned you, the daughter he imprisoned.

Hela, right?"

He just died?

Right, if he hadn't died, how could I have escaped?

So you've only just become King?"

"What else? The hell was Loki telling you? Heh..."

Heisenberg shook his head dismissively, then pointed Gungnir at the Hela before him.

"I know you want to fight. For Odin's sake, I'll spare your life later.

As for right now, I'm going to deal with this small Chitauri problem first!"

Hearing this, even knowing she had been slightly misled by Logic (Loki), Hela could no longer control her temper.

She drew her sword on the spot and slashed at Heisenberg.

But her attack was firmly blocked by Gungnir, moving autonomously through the air.

While using his field to control Gungnir and block Hela, Heisenberg's gaze sharpened slightly.

Thud!!!

A muffled impact as over 1.1 million Chitauri slammed into the ground, their collective crash causing the ruins of Denver to collapse even further.

This battered urban area had already been strained past its limits.

Until Heisenberg personally nudged it over the edge with the final straw.

Hundreds of high-rises near the Chitauri gathering zones crumbled completely. Countless pitiful citizens who had barely managed to stay alive within those buildings now fell, wailing in despair.

Seeing this, Heisenberg frowned and raised his right hand into the air.

"Rise!"

His invisible field instantly shifted. Heisenberg had neutralized all gravity within the field's range!

As the Asgardians hovered in confusion, the collapsing buildings and falling citizens were also suspended by Heisenberg within this stretch of space-time.

Across the vast city of Denver, countless humans, along with rubble and debris, drifted and collided aimlessly as if they had entered outer space.

Not even a movie could capture such a majestic and terrifying scene.

And this staggering display of Heisenberg's power forced even Hela, consumed as she was by fury, to snap back to her senses.

She blinked her valiant eyes in bewilderment, looking first at Gungnir, then at Heisenberg's face... face... Huh?

She couldn't look anymore!

So Hela pursed her lips and blinked again, her gaze uncontrollably drifting to Heisenberg's upper body.

"Tch...!"

She clicked her tongue, simply turning her head away, forcing herself to look at the miracle surrounding her, which even she found somewhat intimidating.

A moment later.

She tilted her head, all moe-like in that gap-moe fashion, and asked Heisenberg in puzzlement.

"Are you sure you're not a Celestial?"
