Boom!
Mammoth's fist cut through the air, descending with great force upon Gogeta. Gogeta didn't retreat; instead, his fist shot upward.
Boom!
The small and big fists collided, creating a fierce, irregular circle shockwave. Gogeta skidded back, his fist carving a deep trench, while Mammoth staggered back three steps.
"Hey!" Gogeta shouted, still staring at Mammoth in excitement. "You guys complete your mission. I'll hold this guy off!"
"Gogeta, be careful!" Miss Martian shouted.
Gogeta didn't reply. His legs tensed, and he exploded forward.
Boom!
Mammoth's fist came crashing down, but Gogeta didn't engage in a contest of strength any longer. Stepping to the left, he dodged the fist that swooshed past his side and, with a clenched fist, gave the beast an uppercut under its jaw.
"Rargh!" the beast growled as it staggered back.
Gogeta didn't waste the chance. His legs, like a whip, struck the face of Mammoth; a cluster of dust was visible as it connected. But Mammoth didn't stagger back this time. Instead, its left leg tensed, caving in the ground, and it punched Gogeta.
Swoosh!
Gogeta's pupils constricted, but he still reacted in time. Doing a backflip, he dodged the attack and stared at Mammoth, who slowly stood straight.
"You and that other guy in Cadmus look and sense the same, but... you're clearly stronger," he said, slowly getting into a fighting stance. "I'm really pumped up!"
Boom!
The two shot forward at the same time. When they were close, Gogeta's clenched fist opened, and on his palm, a golden sphere materialized.
"Take this!"
Boom!
The golden sphere slammed into Mammoth's body, blasting it backward.
"Haaaa!!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Gogeta kept firing energy blast after energy blast. The once strong-looking walls and pipes were destroyed under the attack, and a huge hole was created.
Feeling a little exhausted, he lowered his arm and spread his ki sense into the dark smoke.
Swoosh!
Mammoth's ki still burned as bright as the sun as it slowly stood up and walked out of the black smoke.
Though injuries were scattered around its body, they were all minor ones.
"Guess ki blasts don't work that much, huh?" Gogeta muttered. His ki possessed neither the quality nor the quantity that he remembered from the dream; it wasn't even one-tenth.
"But it doesn't matter! A weak opponent would be boring after all!"
Boom!
Gogeta exploded forward.
"Rargh!" Mammoth roared and clasped both hands together to form one fist, which it brought down.
Boom!
Gogeta dodged the attack, watching as the fist carved a massive crater, and smirked.
"Miss me," he said and punched out, striking Mammoth's face and causing it to stagger back.
An opening! Gogeta's eyes squinted, and without hesitation, he delivered a series of explosive punches on the giant.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Gogeta's fists moved so fast that they created afterimages.
"Rargh!" Mammoth roared in pain and rage as it punched forward, but Gogeta caught the fist, then struck its stomach with his knee, causing it to double over.
'It seems that the ki blast did work. It has become weaker than before', Gogeta thought as his knee moved again, striking the face of Mammoth, which faced downward, sending it staggering back.
"This is it! Haa!"
Boom!
White energy swirled and exploded around him, making his hair wave. Feeling the pure energy surging around his body, Gogeta felt exhilarated as he clenched his fist, veins curling like worms around his arm.
'This form can't last long. I'll have to optimize it!' Gogeta thought as he intently watched Mammoth slowly regain clarity, ready to begin another round of their battle. Now!
Boom!
Gogeta's fist, wrapped in white swirling energy, struck the chest of Mammoth. A muffled shockwave erupted from within, followed by a massive one that spread in a circular motion. Mammoth was sent flying like a ragdoll, striking and piercing through various pipes and steel barrels before it struck the metal wall and came to a stop.
Gogeta placed his hand on his waist and smiled.
"That was a really good fight." He muttered then turned to look at his struggling teammates.
" Guess I'll help"

20 minutes later.
"Guess we're through here," Gogeta said as he looked around at the unconscious men from the Cult of Kobra. As for the cult leader himself? He had already fled during Gogeta's battle with Mammoth together with Sports master who's helicopter had been bombed.
"So, how is it? Did we get any information?" Gogeta asked Robin.
"Yeah, this is no longer Venom. What the Cult of Kobra were making is something else—Blockbuster Venom," Robin said grimly.
"Blockbuster? Isn't that the thing that that professor... uh, Desmond! Uses?"
"Yeah."
"Tsk, it seems something big is happening, huh?" Gogeta said as he shook his head. "But it's good. At least I won't be bored."
