Meanwhile, Flint tried to endure the pain as he rubbed his cheek. He couldn't believe his best friend, who always seemed so sweet to everyone, could punch him in the cheek, leaving it red.
"Flint, is your cheek swollen?" Ellen asked frantically.
Flint pursed his lips. "Do I look okay now?!"
Her head hung low. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were standing behind me." Her arms were folded. "Besides, what were you doing behind me? Did you want to take my picture because I fell asleep at work?"
"Why would I do it? It's not in my best interest!" A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "I had good intentions, but you're accusing me carelessly!"
