"Damn it! Isn't Granger the same?" Madison said angrily.

She truly could not understand why he had no interest in her at all.

She understood even less why she had lost to a witch who did not usually pay much attention to him and was ordinary in both appearance and figure.

However, Dudley would not tell her that buck teeth and slightly wheat-colored skin happened to match his preferences.

"She hasn't hit her growth spurt yet," Dudley said as if it were only natural.

There was a trace of pride in his calm tone, which made Madison extremely unhappy.

"Neither have I!"

Madison puffed out her chest with all her strength. The flat, wrinkleless nightgown was not convincing at all.

"Oh."

Madison felt anger catch in her chest.

He was far too infuriating.

Why could he not be conquered by her charm like other wizards?

"You took it, didn't you?"

Dudley pointed at a bare shelf. It sat in the most conspicuous position in the entire room. Something should have been sitting on the top shelf.

It had to be said that Senior Tom truly was strange. He was obviously so afraid of death, yet he insisted on being so high-profile.

The Horcruxes he created were either Ravenclaw's Diadem or Slytherin's locket, things of that sort.

They could be found almost without guessing.

If Dudley were him, the first Horcrux would definitely be a stone picked up by the roadside, then thrown into a lake or a river. Just finding that Horcrux would require a great deal of time and energy.

As for the second...

Senior Tom's first death happened in 1981. Voyager 2 had launched into space in 1977. If Senior Tom had sent any one Horcrux aboard Voyager 2, then that Horcrux would already be outside the solar system by now.

That would be true immortality in every sense, assuming he did not stop thinking altogether.

So Senior Tom truly had suffered from a lack of education.

Then again, if Senior Tom had truly done that, perhaps the Harry Potter series would not have ended in seven books. We might have seen an eighth work:

Harry Potter and the Final Frontier.

"I threw it away," Madison said irritably, casually finding a place to sit.

"A Dark Magic object with self-awareness and no clear mind? Only an idiot would believe it."

'And what kind of advice did it even give? I asked it how to capture a wizard's heart, and it kept trying, in a roundabout way, to trick me into offering my body to it. Only a crossbreed of a brainless troll and a stupid goblin would believe that nonsense.'

"You are very clever," Dudley offered in a rare compliment. "If you see it next time, remember to tell me."

It seemed Senior Tom was in a poor state. Even his Horcrux had become stupid along with him.

Dudley blinked at Madison.

The meaning was clear: why are you still here?

Madison was so angry she wanted to beat Dudley up, but if she did that, the one who got hurt would obviously be herself.

Her eyes shifted, as if she had thought of something.

"I remember it was picked up by a student. I think it was... oh dear, why can't I remember?"

Do you want to know?

If you want to know, then come beg me. Perhaps if I am in a good mood, I will be merciful and tell you.

"It was Audrina, wasn't it?"

Not long after Madison finished speaking, Dudley opened his mouth.

His calm yet certain tone made it sound as though he had seen it with his own eyes.

Madison's eyes widened. "How did you know?"

"You told me," Dudley said, shrugging and spreading his hands. "Just one second ago."

There were only a few people who had a grudge against Hermione, and even fewer who hated her to the bone. Especially when Audrina was also a member of Ravenclaw.

And Madison's tone had already told him.

"Thank you for the information."

Dudley stood, pushed open the door to the Room of Requirement, and turned back toward Madison inside.

"Then I will not disturb you."

He had just stepped through the door when he turned back again.

"By the way, a personal suggestion: strawberry patterns go better with a white background. Pink does not suit you very well."

Pink was one of the hardest colors to handle. Looking at too much of it could also make people uncomfortable. In particular, when an entire room was surrounded by pink, it could instead feel oppressive.

With a bang, he closed the door, leaving Madison alone inside.

Well.

It was only because he had no interest in her. With that level of intelligence, he could trick her into bed seven times in a single night.

Sure enough, a top student like Hermione was more suitable for him.

"Bastard!"

Madison glared resentfully at the tightly closed door, no longer able to suppress the anger in her heart.

With a crack, she crushed a table leg in her hand. Her originally fair and delicate palm faintly revealed the shape of an eagle's claw.

It was said that when a Veela became extremely angry, she would turn into a sharp-beaked bird-like monster and spit fire.

Although Madison was not of full Veela blood, under such fury, a faint change would still appear in her body.

"I will pin you beneath me one day. I guarantee it!"

Madison paid no attention at all to her ladylike image and cursed loudly. In any case, there was no second person here besides her.

As for Dudley's extraordinary talent, unless his entire body was made of kidneys, even a man forged from iron would be useless.

Since he already knew who it was, things became much easier.

However, after learning who it was, Dudley was not anxious.

For one thing, it was night. No matter what he wanted to do, it would have to wait until the next day. Even he did not have the nerve to sneak into the Ravenclaw girls' dormitory at night, even as the head of the disciplinary group.

For another, not long after leaving the Room of Requirement, Dudley received a piece of information.

Important information delivered by a house-elf.

Therefore, Dudley picked up a quill and wrote a letter overnight, then had Hedwig send it out.

The next day, something major happened at Hogwarts.

Early in the morning, in the Hogwarts dining hall, a group of adult wizards stormed in aggressively.

The students who were still eating breakfast were startled.

The man leading them was none other than Draco's father, Lucius.

His arrival made Draco look displeased. At the same time, Draco sighed and shook his head.

And also...

"I know him."

Ron looked at the short, stout, oddly dressed middle-aged man among the group near the staff table and spoke quietly.

"My dad's boss."

"Cornelius Fudge, Minister for Magic."

Then his voice dropped even lower, low enough that only the people near him could hear.

"An idiot."

"Lucius, Cornelius, what brings you here?"

Dumbledore's tone was calm, but anyone could feel the anger hidden beneath that calm.

Their arrival had frightened the students.

"Dumbledore, we heard a dreadful attack happened at Hogwarts. Is that true?"
