I drowned myself in alcohol the entire afternoon. I couldn't imagine what Max would've done to her. The thought of it alone made me go into a rage repeatedly.
I needed to stop him soon unless he'd never let the people I love live in peace.
Noah came in without knocking, as usual.
"You know we could just kill him instead of throwing a fit."
"And you know we can't kill him."
"Pfft. He has lookalikes, he's not supernatural. We just have to meet the real one this time."
"And how do we do that? He already knows we plan to kill him so he's definitely not going to show his face."
"What if we had a spy?"
I rolled my eyes. "Noah, this isn't a joke."
"I'm not joking."
He had a wide smile which told me he had a plan.
"You're thinking of something, spill."
"I know you don't trust Adrian but he has an insider who wants to get out."
"Explain."
"Apparently he's a teenager and his name is Chris. He recently got recruited by Max himself."
