Chapter 32 - Chapter 30: All problem solved.

Satori stood inside a traditional Japanese room covered in blood.

Some time ago, Naoya had arrived here and massacred the Jujutsu Higher-Ups.

'What exactly are you trying to do?... Naoya?'

She felt frustrated, as if a huge piece of the puzzle were missing.

Mei Mei, who was investigating the scene, came beside her and said,

"It doesn't look like he used his Ten Shadows Technique to kill them."

'He was using Projection Sorcery.' Satori remained silent, knowing the answer in her mind.

Masamichi fixed his sunglasses and said,

"With the Higher-Ups dead, the mission to subdue Naoya is no longer valid, so what will you do? Satori?"

Satori released a sigh, then shook her head.

She silently glanced at Suguri, who had a calm look on her face.

----

In a residential area.

Naoya re-summoned Phantom.

"My Lord."

Phantom kneeled respectfully to him as soon as he appeared.

"I will be leaving Japan for some time.... You continue taking care of Maki, Mai, Megumi, and Miko Yotsuya like usual."

"Understood."

"Hm, tell me if you encounter any issues."

Naoya nodded at him, then flashed away.

Phantom watched him disappear before turning around and making his way back home.

----

At a fast speed, Naoya's figure flashed through the air before arriving back at Suguri's apartment.

Ringing the bell, he waited a few seconds before the door opened up, revealing Suguri's familiar face.

"You're back; come in."

She turned to the side as Naoya stepped inside before closing the door and locking it.

"You killed the higher-ups?" Suguri asked after they sat down.

"Yeah," Naoya nodded, then asked,

"Did Teacher Yaga contact you?"

"Yes, even Satori and Shoko came to visit since I forgot to pick up their phones..."

"Hm? Well, it's alright; I have already taken care of all the problems."

Naoya said in a calm tone.

Kenjaku and the Higher-Ups were dead.

The main antagonists except Sukuna were gone.

There was no longer any major issue that could cause problems.

With Satori's strength, she could easily take care of everything else.

Now he could take a long holiday and spend the money he had made over all these years to experience the debauchery of the adult world.

Naoya pulled up the phone he had just bought and called his father's number.

*Trying*

The phone rang for a few seconds before the call connected.

A confused voice came from the other side.

"Who is this?—"

"Your son."

"Naoya?"

"Yes, it's me."

"What the hell did you do, brat? You destroyed our Zenin family! Killed so many people, including the higher-ups!? Have you gone crazy or become mentally retarded???"

Naoya listened to his shouting before explaining.

"Ogi tried to kill me; he was in cahoots with Kenjaku, an ancient sorcerer from 1000 years ago who wants to change the world..."

Naobito Zenin fell silent and listened to him talk.

"The Jujutsu higher-ups supported Kenjaku, so I killed them to avoid future trouble."

After hearing everything, Naobito fell silent before asking,

"Where are you?"

"At a friend's place, I wanted to ask you to book a few tickets as well as take care of the visa process..."

"So that's why you really called me!? I knew you wanted something!..."

"Come on, it's a father's job to help his son...."

Suguri, on the side, listened to their talk while quietly packing her bag.

Meanwhile, another figure was floating outside, right on the edge of Naoya's detection range.

----

Haneda Airport.

With their check-in done, Naoya and Suguri sat in the waiting lounge, enjoying their coffee.

Suguri got up and went to the washroom. Meanwhile, Naoya grabbed a random magazine and flipped it open.

As he was looking at the hotel models in bikinis, he suddenly felt a familiar energy source appear right beside him, making him stop.

Calmly turning his head, Naoya looked to his left and greeted her with a smile.

"Yo, Satori."

Satori Gojo, wearing her iconic glasses, sat with her arms crossed across her chest, wearing her usual black tracksuit.

With a small smile on her face, she greeted him back.

"Yo, Naoya."

The same style.

The same gesture.

Even the tone sounded similar.

The only difference...

That was the intent.

Satori unfolded her arms and raised a finger towards him in a very natural manner.

Naoya raised his eyebrow; he was all too familiar with her gesture.

It was what she used when attacking with Blue.

"Now... Naoya, care to explain?"

The smile was still pasted on her face, making her look as beautiful as ever.

But Naoya could sense the hidden anger behind that question, so after thinking for a moment, he lowered his head and bit down on her finger.

"...."

Of course, it was blocked by Infinity.

But that didn't stop the awkwardness of the situation...

Satori silently retracted her hand and clenched it into a fist before speaking in a trembling voice.

"...What even was that?"

She took a deep breath and calmed herself before asking.

"Explain."

A single word.

Asking the same question.

Naoya touched his chin, then opened his mouth and slowly started explaining.

"I was attacked by the Zenin clan, almost died due to the scheme of a 1000-year-old monster, barely managed to save Suguri in time, killed the old monster, and destroyed the Zenin family and the Time Association in anger."

"...."

"Yup, that's pretty much it."

Satori kept staring at him in silence.

Naoya shrugged his shoulders.

"It's the truth; I'm not lying to you."

"I know, you have a habit of turning your head to your left when you're lying."

Hm.

Well, he never noticed that.

He'll make sure to prevent it from now on.

Satori brushed away the hair covering her ear and asked,

"So where are you going? Leaving Japan?"

'Without telling me...'

"A lot of different places like France, Thailand, England..."

Naoya kept talking in a calm tone, listing famous places around the world.

Satori kept listening to him in silence while moving her legs up and down.

"Suguri is coming with you?"

"Yup, we're going together."

"Hm, together, huh? When did you guys get so close?"

Naoya suddenly stopped, feeling something wasn't quite right, and asked her,

"What exactly are you getting at? Satori?"

Satori stopped moving her legs. For a moment she didn't answer.

Instead, she tilted her head slightly and looked at him with a thoughtful expression.

"Tell me something first, Naoya."

"What?"

"What do you think of me?"

Naoya blinked his eyes.

"....think of you?"

"Yes." She leaned back in her seat, crossing one leg over the other. "When you see me, what comes to mind?"

Naoya frowned slightly.

That question came out of nowhere.

Satori continued calmly.

"We've known each other for a long time. Longer than almost anyone else."

She emphasized the last part slightly.

"So I'm curious...."

Her eyes quietly studied his face.

"What am I to you?"

Naoya scratched his cheek, thinking for a moment.

"Hmm..."

Then he answered honestly.

"You're my best friend."

He raised his thumb.

"Like a solid 10/10, best bro."

"..."

For a moment, Satori simply stared at him.

Then she slowly repeated,

"Best friend...?"

A small smile formed on her lips.

But something about it felt slightly off.

Naoya tilted his head.

"What?"

Satori smiled and took off her glasses, revealing her beautiful blue eyes.

Then, staring straight at Naoya, she said a single line.

"Let's fight, best friend."

Note: As you must have seen by the change in pacing, the ending is getting near. It will probably end this week. By ending, I mean the main plot with Satori; maybe I'll add some extra shit for fun later, idk. The 4th technique was supposed to be a world-hopping one, though it seems too much trouble to write it, so nah.

This fanfic was just a side project I took up for fun; my main fanfic is still "From Overlord To Multiverse," although I have been neglecting it for some time... Anyway, check it out if you want; it's not a gooner sex fantasy, just letting you know; it's more story-based.

Btw, currently both the top sports in the power ranking are my fanfics; I've never seen it happen before lol. I'm just built different fr fr lol.
