Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: First Battle.

A cursed spirit appeared out of nowhere.

Somehow, it spawned right next to where they were resting.

"It seems deliberate..."

What were the chances that the very day he went out, he would get attacked by a cursed spirit?

"Running away is the fastest option.... but there are so many people here—"

As he was thinking, Satori suddenly jumped off the seat and said,

"It's here, get ready."

Naoya followed her gaze and saw a cursed spirit, shaped like a rhino, rushing straight at them.

Guards from the Zenin family took out their swords and got ready to face it.

Satori raised her hand and was about to use her cursed energy when the shadow on the ground moved, and a huge snake suddenly rushed out at an incredible speed and wrapped itself around the charging rhino, stopping it in place.

"It's Naoya-sama's technique!"

"Quickly kill it!"

The guards from the Zenin and the Gojo clan rushed forth with swords raised and started stabbing at the captured spirit.

Satori also lowered her arm and turned to Naoya in mild surprise.

But Naoya remained silent, thinking calmly in his mind.

"Was that a distraction? To get the guards away?....."

His question was answered instantly as Satori looked in another direction.

Following her gaze, he saw three men wearing black dresses, emitting cursed energy from their bodies.

They were sorcerers.

"Tsk, they found us so instantly....."

One of the men said in an annoyed tone.

But it was only natural.

The ability of the Six Eyes to detect cursed energy was the best in the world.

It's a gifted natural talent, not something that can be trained.

"Assassins?...." Satori muttered in a calm voice before raising her hand and condensing cursed energy.

Then, under Naoya's weird gaze, she started firing cursed energy balls like a machine gun.

'No wait! I thought you were going to use Blue or something!'

He had been deceived by her serious posture, only for her to use an intermediate application of cursed energy.

Well, she was still five after all....

The four sorcerers rushed out at the same time, dodging the cursed energy balls while holding cursed energy weapons in their hands.

Seeing the scene, Satori narrowed her eyes and was about to use another move when the shadows around them trembled and a giant elephant, along with an owl and several rabbits, appeared.

Cursed Technique: Ten Shadows.

Shikigami: Max Elephant, Nue, and Rabbit Escape.

Max Elephant raised its tusk and instantly fired a high-speed jetstream of water, catching the attackers off guard.

Nue took off into the sky with electricity curling around its body.

With a flap of its wings, it attacked the wet guards, performing a combo move.

"H-how could it be?..."

"Ten Shadows technique?... but he's just a brat...."

As the two remaining attackers muttered in disbelief, several rabbits surrounded them and lunged at them at the same time.

While the attackers were being held back by the rabbits, Naoya got up from the seat, wrapped an arm around Satori's shoulder, and said in a slightly condemning tone,

"Go ahead and shoot, Ms. Strongest.... they won't move now."

"You... idiot!"

Satori held back the urge to hit him, her face burning up in shame as she quickly lowered her hand and folded her arms.

'Good, this embarrassment should make her train harder....'

Naoya nodded in his mind, then was just about to add some fuel to the fire when his pupils contracted and he quickly turned his head back, only to see the blade of a cursed tool stopped mid-air, merely inches away from his heart.

It seemed there was another curse user.

Naoya's eyes turned calm. Then, before the attacker could retreat, a giant toad came out from the shadow and swallowed his lower half.

As the sorcerer tried to free himself from the shikigami, Naoya took out his spear and was just about to attack when several cursed energy balls landed on the sorcerer's head, denting his skull and knocking him out.

"There, I used it." Satori beside him said in a sarcastic tone with a wide grin on her face.

Naoya frowned and was about to flick her forehead when his hand was stopped before it could reach her, unable to move forward.

At the same time, Satori took advantage of the opening and flicked his own forehead with her finger.

"Haha, don't underestimate the strongest!" Satori said with a big toothy smile on her face.

Naoya released a sigh. Infinity was truly a broken ability until you had a counter for it.

By this time, the guards of the Gojo and the Zenin clan had returned and quickly surrounded Naoya and Satori to protect them.

"Capture them and see where they're from."

"Yes, Naoya-sama!"

The three deliberately left-alive sorcerers were quickly captured and taken away.

At the same time, Naoya and Satori were told to quickly return to their clans for their safety.

"Today was fun, Naoya! Let's do it again sometime!"

"Sure."

Naoya and Satori waved at each other as their cars drove away.

Sitting inside the car, Naoya laid his head down on his maid Kiyo's lap.

Resting on her soft and warm thighs made him feel calm and relaxed.

----

Time passed, and unknowingly a year went by.

While Naoya was training on the ground, he received some interesting news from one of the servants.

It seemed his uncle Ogi's wife had given birth to twins.

And that too, two women.

Twins were considered a bad omen in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, a curse given to you at birth.

This news had a huge impact. Almost everyone was talking and looking down on Ogi Zenin because of it.

After all, almost anyone could guess why that bastard was so keen on marrying so quickly and having children.

Heh, you wanted to create another Naoya? Tsk, too bad. All you got were two ill omens.

Ogi Zenin became a complete joke among the upper members of the clans, who loved to jump out at any opportunity they could get.

This was the Zenin clan. There was no comradeship between them, only benefits, and only benefits.

While everyone in the clan was avoiding the twins like a plague, including their birth father Ogi, there was one member of the clan who actively came to visit them.

Naoya looked curiously at the two small babies sleeping silently inside the cradle.

"Heh, look at these guys...."

They looked so harmless right now, yet they would be the ones to end the Zenin clan according to the story.

Well, for what it was worth, he had now become an elder brother to two sisters with very unique personalities.

As he was gazing silently at them with a smile, their mother, his aunt, suddenly came up to him and said with a hesitant smile on her face,

"Naoya..... um, Naoya-sama, would you like to hold them?"

Naoya thought for a moment before shaking his head.

He had heard babies were quite delicate and could catch diseases very easily.

He didn't want them to get sick because of touching him, who rolled around in dirt all day long.

Seeing his rejection, his aunt lowered her eyes in sadness.

She had been a little hopeful when someone finally came to see them..... especially since it was Naoya, the future clan head.....

But it seemed she was mistaken....

Just as she was thinking that, Naoya's voice reached her ears.

"Auntie, you can just call me by my name. You are my elder, not my servant, so don't call me 'sama'."

"Ah... okay, Naoya-kun...."

"Hm, by the way, why aren't there any servants here?"

Naoya looked at the empty room in silence.

"That....."

She was going to say something but then stopped.

How could she say it? That her own husband had made everyone leave and left her on her own?

Even though she didn't say it, Naoya more or less understood.

Turning to his own guards, he said in a calm tone,

"Go and get some maids to work here. If anyone tries to stop you, then just say it was my order."

"Yes, Naoya-sama."

Ogi's wife was taken aback by the sudden turn of events.

Turning to Naoya, she saw him giving her a thumbs-up and saying in a childish tone,

"They look like good kids, Auntie. Take care of them and yourself as well."

"I'll visit often, okay?"

For a moment, Ogi's wife didn't know how to feel.

She weakly slumped down on her knees and said in a grateful tone with tears in her eyes,

"Thank you..... Naoya-kun....."

"It's a small thing, you really don't have to cry...." Naoya said as he smiled awkwardly and hurriedly waved his hand.

She couldn't help but smile, seeing his childish actions, which were a breath of fresh air in the Zenin clan.

Just then, the guards came back with two maids.

Naoya took his leave after seeing them get to work.

On his way back, he surprisingly met his father.

Looking at him, the old man asked in a calm tone,

"Aren't you afraid of ruining your reputation by associating with the twins?"

Naoya rolled his eyes at the stupid question.

"Reputation? We're the Zenin clan! As long as I'm strong enough, I'll beat anyone who complains."

"It's good that you're understanding your roots." Naobito smiled, then went ahead, leaving Naoya behind.

Naoya turned his back and saw the old man enter the same room he had left.

Hm, he probably got news that he was here.....

Showing that he supports his son?

"Thinking my influence was not enough, so he showed up himself?"

If only the old man could have done this in the original as well.

Then again, there aren't many people in the world who would go out of their way to do something without any benefit.

Shaking his head, Naoya went back to the training ground.

----

Outside the Zenin clan, inside a small room.

Phantom was diligently moving the brush in his hands, making manga images from series that had yet to appear in this world.

A month ago, the speed of his training had slowed down, as if he had hit a barrier.

Naoya understood and told him to focus on other things.

After sharing his memories with Phantom, Naoya told him to make several novels and manga, and invest money in some companies under his name.

Not doubting the commands of the original, Phantom instantly went to work.

Though he was bad at first, with the body control provided by his training, he quickly got used to it and started getting better at the work.

Just a day ago, he had sent some works to the publisher.....
