"Fine, let's fight then. We'll see who has stronger methods."
"I've never been afraid of taking the initiative. All enemies standing in my way will become souls under my command."
Berlos nodded with satisfaction. This was more like it - being polite and gentle was utterly boring.
She was filled with absolute confidence in her own strength, certain she wouldn't lose to these two women before her.
Only she, the Hellhound Beast Girl, deserved to be the strongest Mythical Zoan Beast Girl under their master.
The three of them stood poised for battle, radiating intense aggression.
Yet Brian's behavior at this moment was somewhat unusual.
Normally, when subordinates suddenly developed such strong confrontational emotions, it would be his responsibility as their master to intervene and stop the conflict.
But he did nothing, merely standing aside and watching with keen interest as the three of them decided on their upcoming battle in just a few words.
Not only was he indulging them, he was practically filled with anticipation.
To put it plainly, the reason these Mythical Zoan Beast Girls were so worked up had much to do with Brian's deliberate indulgence.
He had personally created these Beast Girls, and he understood perfectly well that each one was a formidable character - unruly and filled with wild nature.
Even Bei, the Cow Girl who currently ranked among the weakest, possessed hidden ambition.
It was just that Bei was relatively gentler compared to the other Beast Girls.
Coupled with her exceptional talents, Brian had assigned her to logistics work where she didn't need to go to battlefields, so her wild nature hadn't been unleashed.
Aside from her, all the other Beast Girls possessed strong wild instincts.
After all, they had all seen bloodshed.
Previously, these Beast Girls had been restrained by Brian's authority, plus their own strength wasn't sufficient to act without constraints, so they remained relatively obedient.
After the Griffin Girl was born, she dominated the Beast Girl Legion as the sole powerhouse, temporarily suppressing this competitive atmosphere.
Now that new Mythical Zoan Beast Girls were emerging one after another, this competitive spirit could no longer be contained.
This phenomenon essentially mirrored animals exploring their ecological niches.
When an animal enters a completely new environment, it needs to quickly determine which animals in this environment can be preyed upon, and which must be avoided.
After testing them one by one, the animal can rapidly establish a "database" to determine what it can challenge and what it must steer clear of.
Through this method, the animal determines its ecological position within the natural environment - this is animal instinct.
Applying this same principle to the Beast Girls helps explain why they immediately become confrontational when new Mythical Zoan Beast Girls are born.
The newly born Mythical Zoan Beast Girls also need to determine their position within the team through this combat behavior.
To put it simply, these top-tier Beast Girls were about to establish their authoritative positions within the team.
Only by solidifying their respective authority could the entire Beast Girl Legion better integrate and unleash greater power.
This was also the real reason Brian didn't stop them but instead tacitly allowed the Beast Girls to agree on a major battle.
He never worried that the Beast Girls would truly turn against each other.
As mentioned before, Beast Girls were born with a loyalty buff, and with the Millet-Millet Fruit adding a double buff, absolute loyalty was guaranteed.
Beyond loyalty, they were also inherently coded with unity in their genes.
Even if it seemed like they were about to fight to the death now, Griffin and the other two wouldn't truly go for the kill in their subsequent battle.
As long as the most important unity was maintained, facing enemies together as one was more than enough.
As for internal competition and such, that was a minor issue.
"In that case, let's wait for the remaining sister to be born."
"Once she's born, the four of us Mythical Zoan Beast Girls will each fight a battle to determine the winner."
"Whoever wins will have a louder voice in the Beast Girl Legion from then on."
"Fine, I've got no problem with that."
"Agreed, this concubine also consents."
The Hellhound Girl and the Fire Rat nodded simultaneously in agreement.
Seeing that the other two both agreed, Griffin confirmed it.
The internal battle among the Beast Girls was thus settled with just a few words.
This was a battle exclusive to the Mythical Zoan types; the Ancient Types and Common Types couldn't participate and could only watch.
Couldn't they see that even the most unruly Dragon-Type Ancient Species Beast Girls, Ella and Feixue, remained silent on the side?
Once the Mythical Zoan types determined the winner, they would simply follow the corresponding captain based on their respective species.
Whoosh~
Once it was settled, Berlos didn't delay any longer. She leaped from her original position and landed directly at the rear.
"Little one, your aura feels quite familiar. Are you also of the canine lineage?"
"0i~"
Looking down at the Dog Girl, this "little runt," Berlos spoke with interest.
Aside from the two Beast Girls of the same level, only this little Dog Girl could pique her interest.
That familiar scent, so similar to her own, was simply too intriguing.
"Y-yes."
"Big Sister Berlos, I'm a Beast Girl of the Dog-Dog Fruit, Common Species, Akita Inu Form. Please guide me, Big Sister."
Suddenly approached and looked down upon by Berlos, the Dog Girl seemed on the verge of tears, nodding hurriedly.
"Don't call me 'Big Sister'! Call me Hellhound-sama!"
Berlos nodded, then suddenly lowered her head, bringing her face close to the Dog Girl's and speaking loudly.
"Hellhound-sama!!!"
The Dog Girl was startled again, nearly crying, her face bitter as she changed the address.
"Hmm, good."
Berlos nodded, satisfied. Bullying a little rookie was really fun.
"From now on, you follow me. I'll have your back."
"Y-yes, Hellhound-sama."
The Dog Girl's emotions went through a rollercoaster.
If you wanted to take me as your underling, you should've said so earlier! Why scare me like that?
The Dog Girl couldn't be happier to have someone above her, especially after just witnessing Bat Girl's somewhat tsundere and arrogant demeanor with someone backing her up—she had long been envious.
In fact, ever since the Hellhound Girl was born, the Dog Girl had been feeling very happy.
She had originally wanted to follow Bat Girl's lead, quickly stepping forward to pledge her loyalty to the big sister while also venting her own inner excitement.
Unexpectedly, before she could even make a move, Hellhound Girl's arrogant demeanor and tyrannical aura instantly extinguished her courage, leaving her too afraid to act.
If she approached now, wouldn't she be slapped away by this hellhound?
Holding this thought, Dog Girl silently witnessed the entire struggle between Hellhound Girl and the other two "big shots" after her birth.
Well, not the entire struggle—she had been intimidated into fainting midway and had only just woken up.
"Hmph, at least you know your place. Follow me, then."
"Okay, got it."
Dog Girl quietly stood behind Hellhound Girl, inexplicably feeling her back straighten and her posture firm up.
Dog Girl: Wow, I'm a Beast Girl with someone backing me up now!!!
