Summary:

The Naruto arc has concluded, and the Death God arc is currently ongoing.

Xia Li, who reached the pinnacle in the Naruto world, embarks on a new journey to push even further.

Xia Li has already achieved the realm of the Death God, yet even with his immense power, he continues to strive for the peak.

Could he even fulfill other ambitions along the way?

Chapter 1: Konoha

In Konoha Village, in a modest and slightly worn-down courtyard…

"Xia Li, it's school today, stop crying," said the boy's mother, soothing him gently.

"Don't worry, Mom, I'm fine," replied the young Xia Li, known formally as Shen Daochuan Xia Li, with a faint sense of resignation. He glanced at his mother holding his tightly wrapped hand—when had he ever cried?

Upon reflection, Xia Li realized he had, indeed, cried once—at birth, from the pain. But as a "remarkable" youth of the 21st century, he had no memory of it. Of course, babies cry at birth; if one didn't, it might indicate a serious problem.

Thus, Xia Li had cried only once in his life, and even then, it had been unavoidable. His body simply could not suppress certain natural emotions, and even if he could, the medical staff would never allow it.

Xia Li's mother, Shen Nai, looked at her son with a touch of reluctance. They had always depended on each other, and though he was independent from a young age—helping with small chores and easing her burden—it still wasn't easy.

Yet Xia Li was not a typical playful child. He was serious, almost mature beyond his years, which left Shen Nai wishing he would show a bit more childlike charm.

"Come home early after school," she sighed, giving up her struggle.

"All right, Mom, let go now, or you'll make me late on the first day," Xia Li said.

Shen Nai finally released her grip. She had considered taking a day off so Xia Li could ease into school, but he refused firmly.

However, she wasn't worried. Xia Li had always enjoyed wandering the village, and he had never gotten lost. He had been to the Ninja Academy many times before.

And so, Xia Li went off to school, while his mother left for work, keeping their small household afloat.

Six-year-old Kawana Tsuki was born into a single-parent family. Her father had reportedly been a Chunin who died on a mission. Her mother, pregnant at the time, worked tirelessly to support them, but tragically passed away from overwork, leaving the unborn child and herself in danger.

Xia Li, also known as the Sword of the Divine, was a natural time traveler. From the moment he was in his mother's womb, he was aware of the passage of time. When he discovered he had been transported to the world of Naruto, he felt no regret.

After all, in his previous life, he had been unmarried, with nothing significant to cling to. He had watched the Naruto anime, though he had skipped many plot points out of laziness, preferring memory to study.

As for a "cheat" ability? Xia Li reluctantly admitted he didn't have the traditional "golden finger" most time travelers possess. All he had was memory of the story's events—yet that in itself was a type of advantage.

The one real advantage he could call his own was his soul's power. It allowed him to remember things more easily than in his past life. Not flawless memory, but enough to give him a significant edge.

And his lineage? Xia Li observed that he was an ordinary human—no Uchiha, Uzumaki, or Senju blood, no immortality, nothing extraordinary.

This frustrated him. He wanted to be a ninja, after all. In a world teeming with ninja, to survive as an ordinary person would require more than just luck.

Still, he considered himself fortunate. Unlike the Uchiha, he wouldn't face genetic pressure. He noticed that Naruto, the main protagonist, was his age, and he realized that being ordinary might even work to his advantage.

Over the next six years, Xia Li didn't waste time. While his body couldn't yet extract chakra or learn jutsu, he still trained. Concerned about overexertion, his exercises were light, focused mainly on finger dexterity.

Hand seals were critical, and their speed could determine a ninja's potential. Xia Li started early, determined to master them. His base speed was three seals per second, and once he learned to channel chakra efficiently, that limit would rise.

As Xia Li approached the classroom, he inhaled deeply. The Ninja Academy was a place to build his foundation, and as an ordinary person, his path to greatness would demand immense effort. Today, one very important goal awaited him.

The teacher hadn't arrived yet. Xia Li scanned the room and smiled, recognizing familiar faces. Luckily, he was placed in Iruka-sensei's class—the same class as Naruto Uzumaki.

He didn't specifically search for friends, instead choosing an empty seat and casually beginning his hand seal practice.

Then, a figure entered the classroom—blond hair, a fox-like beard, scanning the room before his eyes settled on Xia Li. A smile spread across his face.

Chapter 2: Uzumaki Naruto

"Hi, can I sit next to you?" asked Naruto, the main protagonist of Naruto, nervously.

"Sure, no one else is here," Xia Li replied calmly, expressionless.

"Great!" Naruto sat down happily.

Xia Li had known about Naruto before, curious about the world he had entered. But he hadn't intended to approach him directly—Naruto was the jinchūriki, constantly surrounded by guards. A rash approach would only bring trouble.

Still, when he saw Naruto being mistreated in the market—having coins thrown at him and food trampled—Xia Li couldn't ignore it. Discreetly, he purchased the food Naruto wanted and placed it in a secluded spot before following him.

"You wanted this, right?" Xia Li asked.

"Yes!" Naruto responded, wide-eyed.

Xia Li counted the coins, found them more than enough, and left, satisfied. He had no interest in money itself—he just wanted an excuse to help discreetly, without compromising his plans.

Chapter 3: Haruno Sakura

Xia Li glanced at a pink-haired girl about to speak—Sakura Haruno, the female hero of the Naruto series.

Though Hinata eventually became Naruto's wife, her role was minor, leaving Sakura as the primary female lead.

Xia Li's previous life hadn't given him much attachment to Sakura. From Naruto's perspective, Sakura had acted foolishly out of love for Sasuke, and Xia Li had no reason to like her.

Yet in this world, his goals aligned with her social position, not personal feelings.
