Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : Reichministerium Meeting (I)

Kaiser stood up from the throne. This time, he didn't stumble or feel awkward. His body moved naturally, as if it had done this countless times before.

"Mein Führer, I'm sorry for the interruption. However, as we are speaking right now, there is an important message relayed from the Supreme Lords regarding Germania!" Claudia said.

Kaiser stepped down from the throne, looking somewhat confident.

'It must be about the sudden teleportation,' he thought.

"Claudia, take me to the Reichsministerium!"

"Yes, Mein Führer."

They exited the throne room through massive gates that slowly parted with a deep mechanical hum. Beyond them stretched a palace so vast that Kaiser briefly wondered if he was still indoors.

The palace looked like something pulled straight from a history book—if that book had been rewritten by someone obsessed with scale. The size was far larger than any palace from Kaiser' old-world. It alone was the size of Texas!

Dark stone walls rose high above them, decorated with massive arches and sharp, angular towers inspired by old German imperial architecture. Red banners bearing iron crosses hung neatly between pillars, unmoving in the still air.

At the same time, glowing lines of light ran along the floors and walls. Holographic panels flickered on and off, displaying unreadable data. Thick cables disappeared into the stone like veins.

It felt less like a palace and more like an entire city built solely to remind people of who ruled them—pure oppressive architecture.

As Kaiser walked, servants and attendants froze where they stood.

Maids knelt. Officers lowered their heads—or throwing Roman salute. Guards wearing black uniforms and polished stahlhelms dropped to one knee the moment they saw him.

Kaiser resisted the urge to look behind.

'I would never get used to this kind of treatment.'

They passed through courtyard after courtyard until the door finally opened up into a massive landing field. Waiting there was a group that instantly grabbed Kaiser's attention.

They were enormous. Each warrior stood nearly four meters tall, their bodies encased in thick, brutal-looking armor. The design was simple and intimidating; black and dark plate, built for war rather than ceremony. Skull insignia was carved into the right shoulder plate, whereas the national eagle sat proudly on the chest.

Kaiser knew about these men: The Schutzstaffel.

Kaiser felt his scalp tingle. Back then, he only created them partly as a joke—along with the entire Germania Reich. Who knew if he was about to be transmigrated on one random Monday.

Now they stood in front of him. Real. Alive.

These people were gene-modified soldiers; created only to keep Kaiser alive. When he created them, Kaiser threw every resources he had—maxed out strength, endurance, and combat prowess into transhuman level. He could argue they were stronger than custodes, able to react in near faster-than-light speed and have a strength that is capable of tearing apart dreadnoughts relatively with little to no effort.

"Mein Führer!" they shouted in perfect unison, kneeling so hard the ground shook.

"On your feet," Kaiser said.

They obeyed instantly. One of them stepped forward.

"I am Klaus Hartden," the man said through his mask. "Kommander of the SS."

"Very well, Kommander. I am heading to the Reichsministerium," Kaiser replied. "Follow me."

They escorted him to a sleek aircraft parked nearby. Its design was sharp and elegant, plated in black and gold metal. The Iron Cross was engraved clearly on its side.

As the craft lifted into the air, Kaiser noticed something else: they weren't alone.

Dozens of other aircraft ascend with them. Then more. Heavy escorts, gunships, transport vessels—all bearing the same Iron Cross symbol. When Kaiser looked down, he finally understood just how ridiculous his capital was.

The entire surface wrapped in mega-cities, infrastructures, and all sorts of human settlements. If he remembers correctly, there are over a trillion people living on this planet. It was overpopulated so bad, they had to rely on other agri-planets just to sustain the consumption needs.

Kaiser then flew leaving the Berlin atmosphere—where he saw an even enormous construction orbiting the planet

The planet was locked in a massive ring-world structure, rotating slowly in orbit. Entire cities, factories, shipyards, and docking bays were built into it. Traffic moved constantly along its surface like glowing veins. This was Berlin A' Ring-World, an artificial complex built in response to the planet's overpopulation.

'Damn! I've only seen those on the monitor before. Who would have thought it would be this massive.'

Kaiser was genuinely impressed.

The aircraft then entered the ring through a docking platform surrounded by a blue-ish energy field that sealed the oxygen inside. The moment Kaiser stepped out, a loud, synchronized sound from thousands of boots echoed across the hangar.

Thousands of soldiers stood in formation; snapped into a Roman salute.

"Sieg Hail!" the soldiers shouted.

Kaiser hesitated, then raised his hand slightly in response.

'Embarassing! This is so embarrassing!'

He quickened his pace leaving the hanggar-dock behind. The interior of the ring-world felt completely different from the palace. This place was all about function. Wide corridors stretched endlessly, lined with glowing displays showing production numbers, fleet movements, and system alerts. Massive transit rails ran along the walls. Elevators moved vertically for kilometers at a time.

Everything was clean, organized, and efficient.

After several minutes, they reached a heavily guarded hallway. Another squad of the SS stood every few steps, silent and unwavering. Upon realizing it was Kaiser approaching, they—as the others did—dropped to one knee.

At the end were large reinforced doors which had already opened; revealed a glimpse of figures inside.

It was a long conference room, with futuristic devices and adorned in militaristic decorations. Red-white-black banner hung above, bearing the Iron Cross sigils. Most of the seats were already filled. Only two remained empty; the largest seat at the head of the table, and the one beside it.

The moment Kaiser stepped inside, everyone shouted: "Mein Führer!"

"You may sit," he said.

He took the main seat. Claudia sat beside him.

"I was informed there is urgent news," Kaiser said calmly. "Tell me more about it."

A man in his forties stood up. His expression was serious. Despite his appearance, the man had accumulated centuries of experience; thanks to gene-enhancements, allowing most of these people to live for a long period of time—some even reached several millennia.

"Mein Führer. I am Konrad Vogel, Lord Minister of Science."

Kaiser only nodded in response.

Konrad took a breath before started: "Our capital system 'Berlin' has been relocated. Entirely. We are no longer in known space. All hyperlane connections beyond the system are gone, and long-range communications have failed. We are completely cut off from the rest of the Reich."

The room grew tense. Kaiser, however, remained silent. He already expected this outcome.

'Knew it! If I were transmigrated along with the entire Germania, it'd ruin the balance of power, after all.'

The Germania Reich is a powerful entity of human empire that could rivals the Imperium in most aspects—even surpassed it in some. It was not just a space empire, but a whole realm of humankind which connected billion of worlds into one single cohesive faction that rules the galaxy.

Konrad continued, "We conducted scans using the Sentry Array Network. The surrounding region is for some reason underdeveloped. There are several minor civilizations detected. However, none match our records nor resemble Germania."

Kaiser listened carefully, occasionally took a glance on the hovering hologram while committing every word to memory.

"There is also a peculiar phenomenon, which split the galaxy in half. Our ministry couldn't exactly tell what was happening. Without extensive research and contacts, it'd be nearly impossible to explain this rare occurrence."

'Is that... Segmentum Obscurus! I'm lucky.'

Kaiser saw the region where his realm was transported; instantly recognized it.

Segmentum Obscurus fell under the dark side of the Imperium; out of the Astronomican's reach and made them harder from being noticed. Unless Guilliman's Indomitus Fleets personally searched for him, Kaiser can avoid revealing himself until his preparations are complete.

He didn't say it out loud. Instead, he leaned back slightly, as his expression became thoughtful.
