Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Bride Who Remembered Tomorrow

Night I Died

That was the first thing Serena Vale felt was cold.

Cold silk against her skin… and something warm dripping down her chest.

Blood" Her blood.

The grand bridal room was silent, decorated in white roses and golden lights, but the beauty meant nothing now. Her wedding dress , once pure and perfect , was soaked red.

And in front of her…

Her husband.

Adrian Kross.

The most powerful billionaire in the city. The man women feared, admired, and desired. The man who never smiled. The man she was forced to marry.

And the man who was now… killing her.

His hand tightened slowly around her throat, firm but trembling.

Serena couldn't breathe.

Her vision blurred, yet she kept her eyes on him, searching… begging… questioning.

"W-Why…?" she whispered weakly.

Adrian's expression didn't change, but his eyes…

His eyes were breaking.

Dark. Painful. Torn.

As if killing her was destroying him too.

"If there is another life…" he said quietly, his voice rough like shattered glass, "…don't come back to me, Serena."

Tears slipped from the corner of his eyes.

And then, darkness swallowed her whole.

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

The sound of a clock ranged in the silence.

Serena's eyes flew open.

She gasped sharply, sucking in air like someone who had just escaped death. Her heart pounded violently against her chest. Her body trembled.

Alive"

She was… alive?

The room was different.

No wedding decorations. No roses. No blood.

Just her small bedroom.

Her old bedroom.

Confused, she slowly sat up, her fingers shaking. Her breathing was uneven, her throat still aching as if his hand had truly been there.

Was it… a dream?

No.

It felt too real, too painful.

Her eyes moved to the wall.

And froze, the calendar.

June 3rd.

Her wedding date was July 3rd.

Exactly…

30 days away.

Her blood ran cold.

"No…" she whispered.

Her hands rushed to her neck , no wound. No pain. She touched her chest , no blood. No injury.

Then suddenly…

A strange warmth flickered deep inside her lower abdomen.

Soft, Fragile, alive.

Serena's breath stopped.

In her last life… on the night she died…

She had discovered she was pregnant.

But the child never lived.

Her fingers pressed gently against her stomach, trembling.

"Y-You… came back with me…?"

Tears filled her eyes.

This wasn't a dream.

She had truly returned.

Returned from the night her husband killed her.

Returned with memories of the future.

Returned with a fate she refused to repeat.

Serena stood slowly and walked toward the mirror.

Her face was pale, but her eyes…

Her eyes were no longer weak.

They were calm.

Sharp, awake.

In her last life, she was gentle, Quiet. Obedient, She trusted people, She loved sincerely.

And she died.

This time… she would live.

This time… she would change everything.

Her mind flashed,Moments from the future.

Her best friend smiling sweetly.

A glass of poisoned wine.

Adrian standing in darkness, covered in blood.

A hidden document marked: Kross Fa "Krosscret.

And a child crying… before the sound suddenly stopped.

Serena grabbed her head as the visions faded.

"The future… is breaking…" she whispered.

Things were already changing.

Which meant danger had already begun.

That morning, the Kross family car arrived.

Right on time.

Just like the past.

Serena stood at the mansion gate, dressed in simple white, her face calm. But inside, her heart beat fast.

In her last life, this was the day Adrian first came to see her after their engagement was announced.

Cold. Distant. Untouchable.

A man impossible to read.

The black luxury car stopped.

The door opened.

And Adrian Kross stepped out.

Tall. Elegant. Powerful. Dressed in black like darkness itself.

His presence alone suffocated the air.

Serena's fingers clenched slightly.

Memories of his hand around her throat flashed in her mind.

Her body trembled instinctively.

Adrian noticed.

His sharp eyes narrowed slightly.

Strange.

In his memory, Serena always looked at him with shy warmth… never fear.

He walked toward her slowly.

Each step heavy.

Dangerous.

When he stopped in front of her, silence filled the space between them.

Then he spoke.

"Miss Vale."

His voice deep. Calm. Unreadable.

Serena lowered her gaze slightly.

"Mr. Kross."

Adrian studied her face carefully.

Something was different.

Her eyes.

They looked like someone who had seen death… and returned.

"…Are you afraid of me?" he asked suddenly.

Serena's heart skipped.

In her past life , he never asked that.

,e future…

Was already changing.

She lifted her eyes and met his gaze directly.

For the first time.

"No," she said softly.

Adrian froze.

Because for a split second

He saw something impossible in her eyes.

Not fear, not love.

But…Knowledge, as if she But… him,as if she knew his darkness.

As if she knew…How he would one day kill her...
