A few days prior..
The woman's heels clacked, as the sound echoed through the hallway. The woman turned a knob, opening the door in front of her. She walked down a longer hallway before sliding open another door. The room lit up instantly, she then shielded her eyes with her arm.
"Still so bright hm..?" The woman said, her voice was smooth and prominent.
"Since Shaun recommended you for this mission, we expect nothing but success." One of the men from the council above said.
"Yes, I'm aware. The mission will be done, but what of my payment hm?" The woman said, smiling whilst one hand on her hip.
"We'll send you your money once you take out that shifter, Ms Tonsha." One of the council men said.
Note-Ms Tonsha was her name, she was a general
"Very well, bye now." Ms Tonsha said elegantly, rotating towards the door, she left squealing in excitement.
Some time later..
Shibuya Center-gai was nearly in ruins, but Ms Tonsha arrived in time before it got worse. She rested her hand on her hip as she walked along the empty crosswalk of Shibuya, no one to be seen for miles.
After surveying the area she came to the conclusion everyone was already evacuated– They must've evacuated everyone already. She said, speaking in her mind.
She continued walking down the street when she sensed malice nearby, the aura of this thing or person was overwhelmingly dangerous.
It must be that shifter, but where is he? I can't pinpoint where he's gonna come from.. Damnit. She thought, smacking her lips.
"Why aren't you a pretty one.." An unknown voice from behind the woman, she turned seeing the large humanoid creature with blood covering his arms and hands.
"Hm.. so you're the shifter causing problems in Shibuya?" She said standing just a few feet from the creature.
"If you mean murdering people who deserve it, then yes." The shifter burst into a belly laugh with a deep breathless sound.
"You disgust me.." She said furrowing her brows in disgust and anger.
"Then how about I fix that?" He smiled, his eyes widened staring at her with an unsettling presence.
"We'll just see." Ms Tonsha said, instantly attacking with a barrage of purplish light beams aiming straight for the shifter's upper chest area.
"Woah!" The shifter, surprised, attempted to dodge, but the beams landed anyways. Blood spilled from the shifter's body, just before it instantly regenerated.
Hmph, his regeneration is fast… She thought before charging the shifter without a second thought.
The shifter got up, charging her as well, throwing a strike at her face, but it was too slow, and Ms. Tonsha quickly parried the attack, pivoting to her left landing an elbow straight into the shifter's jaw.
He groveled in pain, but ultimately didn't falter, holding his jaw as he regenerated instantly. The shifter stepped forwards charging his fist from below, his speed increased slamming straight into her side.
The force caused her to fly into a nearby building, luckily for her she reinforced herself with Yon just before contact.
"He's strong.. But where did that speed come from?" She said slowly getting up while grunting from the pain.
"How'd you like that princess?" The creature yelled manically.
"Shut up fat fuck." She snapped back.
Her body materialized into light itself, accelerating at light speed towards the shifter. She materialized herself to normal, sending a gut wrenching kick into the shifter's stomach. But his belly was huge, absorbing the force entirely. The shifter attempted to grab her leg, subsequently emitting a powerful shockwave in an outward direction.
But she avoided this by turning into light again, moving out of the shockwaves radius.
That was close. I didn't know he had such an ability, so I'll have to be careful. She thought to herself.
She rushed once more turning into light, the shifter couldn't track her this way.. Or so she thought.
The shifter raised his arm, slamming it down into the ground. An eruption of light beams shot from the ground in all directions.
"What?! He can use light too?" She said entirely flabbergasted at his little trick.
"Wrong. I can take any energy I'm hit with and use it against my opponent."
Ms. Tonsha avoided the beams of light, appearing in front of the shifter. She then created a yari out of light, swinging it forth into the shifter's chest. The yari pierced through the shifter's skin targeting his spirit, the shifter then roared, trying to pull the yari out.
It was a battle of strength now, both parties pushing the materialistic weapon.
The shifter was stronger, unfortunately seeing as he was far bigger than Tonsha. He swung his right arm and slapped Ms. Tonsha across her face. She crashed into the ground below them, as the shifter then successfully pulled the yari out. He held his chest in anger, looking down at her.
"You bitch!" The creature yelled, lifting his leg, and slamming his foot where she laid.
"Don't you dare look down on me!" She yelled grunting, kipping herself up. She swept the shifter off his remaining leg, causing him to fall to the ground. She materialized another weapon, stabbing the sword into his chest once more.
'?!' The shifter was caught off guard by her sudden reflexes.
"Die you disgusting vermin!" She yelled, sticking the blade deeper and affecting his spirit. The spirit's form began to falter, chipping away.
But the shifter didn't waver, it continued to fight. Roaring and yelling out his name like a battle cry.
"I AM BODOMOSHI, OF THE LAPIS 8. YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME!" Bodomoshi grabbed the sword slowly pulling it out of his chest, significantly overpowering Tonsha.
Lapis 8?! This thing thinks it's a•part of the notorious group of the strongest shifters? That explains why he has an ability. She thought to herself, continuing to fight the battle of strength between the two.
Bodomoshi began lifting himself upwards, with pure intention to kill. Bodomoshi was effectively unstoppable.
The battle of strength was lost to Bodomoshi, he pulled the weapon from his chest waving it around.
Tonsha stepped back, recalling the weapon from Bodomoshi's grip. She got into a stance pointing it straight towards Bodomoshi.
"I don't care if you are the most powerful shifter, you're going to lose here." She said, breathing in and out.
"Come on!" Bodomoshi shouted slamming his knuckles together, he took a step forwards beginning to slowly charge her.
She also took a step forwards, turning her leg into light to propel herself. She swung her blade in a wide arc, lowering her hips slashing Bodomoshi's legs.
But the shifter was prepared, the muscles in his leg enlarged. Blowing up like a balloon, the blade lost all momentum, was absorbed and dissipated from Tonsha's hand.
"Tch." She clicked her tongue taking the initiative.
Her hand flew forwards, forming a dagger in her palm. Stabbing Bodomoshi.
But Bodomoshi acted quickly, his hand blocked the dagger causing it to penetrate straight through his palm.
Ms. Tonsha persisted, pushing the dagger further. She released it shortly after backfliping off Bodomoshi's stomach.
She landed just a few feet from Bodomoshi glaring at him with cold eyes.
"You're weak, but you are fast. I'll give you that." Bodomoshi said, snickering.
"Your words are as meaningless as you are.." She said clenching her fists in annoyance.
Why won't he die? He just keeps getting stronger each time I try to end him for good..
She thought, streaking for Bodomoshi.
Ms. Tonsha readied her arm slamming it straight into Bodomoshi's face.
Bodomoshi was sent tumbling against the ground, he regained balance stopping his further momentum.
"I think it's time to end this now." Bodomoshi said. He inhaled a large amount of oxygen, fully inflating his stomach like a huge balloon.
Ms. Tonsha cracked her knuckles, hurtling herself at Bodomoshi. Her fist connected, and kinetic energy traveled within Bodomoshi. It was instantly absorbed as her attack rendered useless, she attempted to back off but Bodomoshi had other plans.
Shit! Her eyes widened in shock.
Bodomoshi reeled his hips back, thrusting them forwards. He slammed himself into Tonsha, as she coughed blood.
She was thrown a couple feet away from Bodomoshi straight into the ground.
She could barely move, grunting in serious pain. The result of the attack broke multiple bones, and her rib.
But even though she had severe injuries, she didn't give up. Ms. Tonsha stood, clutching the side of her body where her rib was broken.
"You b-bastard.." She grunted, sweat beads forming on her face.
"Heh, like that? That was my special move." He said smiling.
"Hmph, such incomptence." She said, lifting her arm pointing at Bodomoshi.
Light beams fired from her finger tip, parting into multiple beams instantaneously.
Bodomoshi lifted his arms, covering his body as he blocked the incoming attacks.
"Is that all you go-" Bodomoshi's speech was cut off, as he pulled back his arms Ms. Tonsha had vanished.
"Up here." Ms. Tonsha's voice was heard from above, causing Bodomoshi to look up.
Above the shifter was a large construct of light, shaped like a hammer. She acted, putting her hands together as if she was swinging something.
The hammer rained down onto Bodomoshi, colliding with his arms.
Bodomoshi had managed to block, but not for long.
Ms. Tonsha was crafty, pouring Yon into her attack, strengthening her output.
The energy absorption became too much for Bodomoshi, and he faltered. The hammer seemingly crushed his arm, and rammed him into the ground, blood gushed profusely.
The hammer slowly dissipated, as she landed on the ground walking towards the unconscious Bodomoshi.
I can't sense its presence. Is he dead? She thought, bending down.
Bodomoshi woke, his eyes opened in tandem with the unsettling squelching noise.
He's alive?! She thought, stepping back..
Bodomoshi rose, his arm reaching out grabbing hold of her neck while she stepped back. His hand dwarfed her entire neck and collar bone, his grip tightened daring not to let go.
Ms. Tonsha choked, trying desperately to breathe. She formed a blade, stabbing Bodomoshi through his elbow.
Bodomoshi jerked his arm back, as it healed. She held her throat, coughing, and turned towards bodomoshi again.
Bodomoshi rushed her, throwing a barrage of attacks. Each blow powered by energy stored from her earlier attack.
Her face was pummeled with hard strikes, each capable of instantly killing a regular soldier.
She started to fall to the ground, but Bodomoshi caught her, and he continued to beat her to a pulp.
The blows stopped, Tonsha's head was leaned back. Her nose spilled blood, and she wasn't moving.
"Such a weak soldier, I can almost get mad they thought to send you." Bodomoshi said, grinning afterward.
"Whatever." He threw her on the ground, walking away.
Ms. Tonsha lay there, unconscious and brutally beaten.
"Hey." An unknown woman spoke. She leaned against a wall with her arms crossed, pointing at Bodomoshi.
"Hm.. more prey?" He said, smiling manically. He rushed the woman charging his fist.
The woman sighed, vanishing from Bodomoshi's sight. Huh?! Bodomoshi couldn't follow her movements, she was too fast for his perception.
"Behind you idiot." The woman said, tapping his shoulder. She tapped him twice, pressuring his shoulder causing him to fall on the second tap.
He grunted, "Who are you?!" He said, holding his shoulder. The woman's overwhelming Yon restricted Bodomoshi's movements.
"Listen, I see potential in you. Considering you took out a general, she's most likely gonna die here. Follow me, and I'll make you a real Lapis 8." The mysterious woman said, both smiling widely.
Sometime later…
Shaun sighed, sitting while drinking coffee in a local cafe. He stood walking after having finished his treats.
He wore black shades with a red tint, and leather black pants with a tank top and a thin red sweater.
On his stroll he received a phone call, it was from General Zhou. He answered it and spoke. "Hm?"
"What?!" He shouted, clenching his fist in rage.
"I'm on my way!" He said, ending the call.
Shaun then arrived 20 minutes later, entering the agency and making his way to the medical bay.
He burst open the door shouting, "Where is Sveta!"
The doctors pointed to the room down the left, he jolted towards the room sliding open the door.
"Sveta, who did this to you?!" Shaun's voice rose.. his eyes zoomed on her injuries. Horrored by the sight of them.
I'll kill them. His eyes expressed seriousness, conveying his drive for revenge.
"His name was Bodomoshi.. he was strong, Shaun.." She said, coughing momentarily.
"Stop talking, just rest.." Shaun said, leaning forwards, kissing her forehead.
"Don't worry, I'll handle it." Shaun said leaving the room.
