Chapter 2 - Losing Face Before the Entire Ninja World

[When the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames]

[Wait, is this the Nine-Tails Attack? The production value is insane.]

[Looking at this opening, you can't really see the terror of the Nine-Tails; it looks like these Ninjas are paid actors lol.]

[The lore must have been retconned. Originally, it was just the Nine-Tails attacking a random village, but later it was changed to Konoha explicitly.]

[Yeah, in the pilot, Naruto was actually the Nine-Tails itself. The Jinchuriki concept only appeared later.]

[If it was a one-shot, Naruto really would be the fox!]

[Who cares about the original draft? Just follow the current canon. New settings overwrite old ones.]

[I have to say, the Fourth Hokage is still the GOAT!]

[Obviously. That's why he's the Fourth.]

Upon the screen, accompanied by a burst of powerful music, the title of Naruto: Shippuden appeared. [T/N : here Naruto: Shippuden is the tale of naruto or biography of naruto .....not the start of naruto shippuden series ]

As the screen played, lines of bullet comments floated across.

However, these comments seemed to have been selected, as they did not reveal too much.

"The Nine-Tails! It's the Demon Fox!"

"It's that day, the day the Demon Fox attacked the Village!"

"What do those words mean? Originally it wasn't Konoha that was attacked, but a Village of ordinary people? It only became an attack on Konoha later?"

"Originally the Demon Fox was just a Demon Fox, but now the Demon Fox isn't just a Demon Fox?"

"What is a Jinchuriki?"

The villagers of Konoha gathered together, discussing fervently. The screen had just begun, and there were many things they didn't know; it felt very novel, yet it also brought them great confusion.

Meanwhile, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura had arrived at the Hokage Office under Kakashi's lead.

In the Hidden Cloud Village, the Fourth Raikage, A, sat before his newly replaced desk, a knowing smirk appearing on his face.

"Interesting. That kid named Naruto... he's the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, isn't he?"

Although the Cloud Village was known for its brute strength, A possessed the sharp intellect required of a Kage. Combining the visuals on the screen with the information in the floating comments, it was easy to deduce that the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was the boy named Naruto.

In the Hidden Stone Village, Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, had also deduced the identity of the vessel. However, he felt a deep sense of unease.

"This is not a good thing."

"What's so bad about it?" Kitsuchi, standing nearby, didn't share his father's worry. "We've just obtained confirming intelligence on Konoha's Jinchuriki. This broadcast is a benefit to us."

Kitsuchi, standing nearby, didn't feel anything was wrong. The things shown on this screen were a good thing for them.

Allowing them to know the intelligence regarding Konoha's Jinchuriki was a benefit.

"Have you forgotten what is being played on the screen? 'naruto: shippuden'. Clearly, it's playing the story of this Naruto. If his life were ordinary and unremarkable, would there be any point in showing it?"

Ōnoki recalled the name that appeared on the screen, 'naruto: shippuden'. Wasn't this just Naruto's biography?

A biography with him as the main perspective was enough to show that this person's experiences were far from simple.

This was not a good thing for them.

["Gahahaha!"]

On the screen, a young boy with golden hair, wearing goggles and sporting whisker-like marks on his cheeks, laughed maniacally while clutching a bucket of paint.

["Hey! Naruto! You're gonna pay for this! Get back here!"]

Behind the young Naruto, two Chunin were in hot pursuit. The three figures leaped across rooftops and bounded over fences. The camera pulled back to reveal the reason for the chase: The Great Hokage Rock, the sacred monument of the village, was covered in graffiti.

Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn't help but feel his vision go dark. This screen could be seen by the entire Ninja World! This was completely exposing Konoha's dark history to the whole world!

It wasn't just Hiruzen; Kakashi and the others couldn't bear to look. How were they supposed to maintain Konoha's reputation after this?

[Uzumaki Naruto: Huh? Whoa! Did you guys see that? That's me! That's me up there!]

In the Chat Channel, only Naruto's voice rang out. Most people in the Ninja World knew better than to casually reveal their existence, and currently there was nothing strategic to discuss.

"Naruto, don't just speak on there at random; it will leak information."

Kakashi went straight to Naruto to warn him. He had no choice; speaking on the screen consumed too much Chakra, and he couldn't afford it.

"Eh?"

Naruto looked at Kakashi, obviously unconvinced, but he also knew the importance of information to a Ninja, so he didn't talk back.

[On screen, the villagers pursued Naruto for his prank, and the incident was reported to the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.]

[However, Hiruzen seemed resigned rather than angry, offering little punishment for the mischief.]

[Eventually, Naruto was caught by his teacher, Iruka. He was trussed up with rope and thrown onto the classroom floor.]

["Naruto, you failed the graduation exam last time, and the time before that. Now is not the time for pranks, you idiot!"] Iruka lectured, looking down at his problem student.

["Hmph!"] Naruto turned his head away, letting out a defiant snort.

Iruka was incensed by Naruto's attitude, a comedic vein popping on his forehead.

["Fine! Since Naruto missed it, everyone is retaking the Transformation Jutsu exam! Even those who already passed, get in line!"] Iruka shouted through gritted teeth.

The surrounding students let out a collective groan of dismay.

["Sakura Haruno, here!"]

Despite the complaints, the students lined up. Sakura stepped forward.

As the white smoke cleared, Sakura had vanished, replaced by a perfect copy of Iruka.

["Very good,"] Iruka nodded, recording the pass.

["Cha! I did it!"]

On the surface, Sakura smiled sweetly. However, the screen suddenly displayed a spiritual projection of her 'Inner Sakura' pumping a fist in the air, revealing a much more aggressive personality than her outward demeanor suggested.

["Next, Uchiha Sasuke."]

Sasuke walked out, his expression cold and indifferent.

POOF!

White smoke burst forth, and Sasuke completed the transformation effortlessly, also taking on Iruka's likeness.

["Very good,"] Iruka said, approving Sasuke's perfect scores.

Sasuke walked back to the line without a word. Next up was Naruto.

Naruto stood before Iruka, preparing his Chakra. He actually had some skill with the Transformation Jutsu—as long as it wasn't the Clone Jutsu, he was confident.

["Transform!"]

Naruto shouted. But when the white smoke cleared, it was not Iruka standing there.

Standing in the mist was a stunningly beautiful woman with blonde pigtails and blue eyes. She was scantily clad in clouds of smoke, with a curvaceous figure and a delicate face that bore a striking, yet teasing, resemblance to Naruto.

["Oh, Iruka-sensei..."]

The woman blinked, blowing a kiss with a sultry, seductive voice.

["Ah...!!"]

Staring at 'Naruko' and hearing that soft, tempting voice, Iruka's blood pressure spiked instantly. A massive fountain of blood erupted from his nose, sending him flying backward.

["Wahahaha! You saw that, didn't you? That's my Sexy Jutsu!"]

Naruto dispelled the transformation, laughing hysterically as he pointed at the disheveled teacher.

["You idiot! Don't invent such stupid Ninjutsu!"] Iruka roared, stuffing tissue into his nose.
