Chapter 63 - Chapter 64: The Red Ferrari

The Ferrari FF prowled through the streets of Seoul. The V12 exhaust note echoed off the glass skyscrapers, a deep, resonant growl that turned heads on every corner.

It was almost noon. The traffic in Gangnam was surprisingly light.

Dominik pulled up to the JYP Entertainment building. He looked up at the towering structure, its modern facade gleaming in the sun.

"Impressive," he muttered, parking the Ferrari in a visitor spot.

He walked inside. He was dressed in a simple white t-shirt and jeans, but the sunglasses and the confident stride made him stand out.

He approached the reception desk.

"Hello," the receptionist said politely, eyeing him up. "Who are you looking for?"

"I'm looking for Hwang Yeji," Dominik said, taking off his sunglasses. "I'm a friend."

The receptionist blinked. She didn't recognize him. To her, he was just another handsome foreigner trying to meet an idol.

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Uh... no. I just arrived."

"I'm sorry, sir. Unless Ms. Hwang comes down to escort you, or we get authorization, you cannot enter."

Dominik sighed. He pulled out his phone and called Yeji.

It rang. And rang. No answer.

"Great," he muttered. "Ghosted."

He walked out of the building under the receptionist's skeptical gaze. There was a Starbucks across the street. He went in, ordered a Frappuccino, and sat by the window.

Before he could take a sip, his phone buzzed.

Yeji:Sorry! I was in practice. You're here??

Dominik:I'm across the street at Starbucks. The receptionist thinks I'm a stalker.

Yeji:Coming down now!

Dominik stood up. He thought for a second, then went back to the counter. "One more Frappuccino, please."

He walked back across the street, carrying two drinks. As he approached the JYP entrance, the glass doors slid open.

"Over here!"

Yeji waved at him. She was wearing sweatpants and a crop top, her hair tied back.

But she wasn't alone.

Behind her were four other girls, all peering out with mischievous, gossipy grins.

Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna. The rest of ITZY.

Dominik froze. He looked at the single extra Frappuccino in his hand.

Five girls. One drink. I am dead.

Even the receptionist looked shocked. She had never seen the entire group come down to the lobby for a random guy.

Dominik walked up to them. He handed the drink to Yeji.

"Hi," he said, clearing his throat. Then he looked at the four grinning faces behind her. "Hello. I... uh... would you like anything to drink? It's on me."

"Yeji unnie, can we drink?" Ryujin asked, her eyes sparkling.

Yeji blushed furiously. "If you want to drink, go ahead! Why ask me?"

"Thank you, handsome oppa!" Yuna chirped.

So, the six of them marched back across the street to Starbucks. The baristas did a double-take as one of the biggest K-Pop groups in the world walked in with a tall European guy.

Dominik paid for the order—five more Frappuccinos and some pastries. They headed back to the JYP building, riding the elevator up to the practice rooms.

Yeji introduced everyone properly. The girls knew he was an F1 driver, but their knowledge of the sport was... limited.

"Is it true you drive faster than airplanes?" Yuna asked wide-eyed.

"Only on the ground," Dominik laughed.

"Do you have plans this afternoon?" Dominik asked.

The girls exchanged looks. "We have one last practice session for the day," Yeji said. "After that, we're free for the evening."

"Do you mind if I watch?" Dominik asked.

"Not at all," Ryujin smirked. "Just don't expect us to go easy on you."

An hour later, the music cut off abruptly, signaling the end of the session. The silence in the studio was instantly replaced by the sound of synchronized, heavy panting.

"We're done," Yeji announced, her voice breathless as she dropped onto the hardwood floor. Beside her, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna, and Lia collapsed in similar states of total exhaustion.

Dominik, who had been leaning quietly against the doorframe watching the intense choreography, pushed himself up and walked over. He tossed a stack of clean towels to the group.

"Dinner?" Ryujin announced, clapping her hands and wiping her forehead.

"A restaurant would be chaotic," Yeji said, glancing at the six of them. "Six people, no masks? We'll be on Dispatch before the appetizers arrive."

"My place then," Ryujin suggested. "I have a full kitchen. We can order in."

The other members agreed enthusiastically. It had been a while since they had a proper "family meal" without managers hovering.

Yeji looked at Dominik. "Is that okay? It might be loud."

"Loud is fine," Dominik smiled.

Ryujin grinned. She liked him. He was easygoing, unlike most of the stiff chaebol heirs or shy idols they usually met.

The Convoy

The girls piled into the company van. Dominik walked to his Ferrari.

He stopped.

There was a piece of paper tucked under the wiper blade.

A parking ticket. 50,000 KRW.

"Seriously?" Dominik sighed, snatching the ticket. "I was gone for three hours."

He tossed it into the passenger seat and fired up the engine.

The black Kia Carnival pulled out of the garage. The red Ferrari FF followed close behind.

Inside the van, Yuna was peering out the back window.

"He's right behind us," she said. "Hey, manager-nim! Can we lose him?"

The driver laughed. "Lose a Ferrari? In a minivan?"

"Try!" Chaeryeong urged. "It'll be funny!"

The driver, caught up in the mood, accelerated onto the Olympic Expressway. He wove through traffic, changing lanes aggressively.

Dominik saw the van speed up. He chuckled.

Cute.

He dropped a gear. The V12 roared.

He saw a gap. The van was in the fast lane. A bus was in the middle lane, slightly ahead.

Dominik floored it.

The Ferrari surged forward, closing the gap instantly. At the last second, just before rear-ending the bus, Dominik flicked the steering wheel left.

The car darted into the fast lane, slotting perfectly into the 7-meter gap between the bus and the van.

He flashed his hazards once—a cheeky wink—and settled in front of them.

Inside the van, the girls shrieked.

"He's insane!" Lia gasped.

"That was so cool," Ryujin admitted.

Ryujin's Apartment

They arrived at a high-end complex in Seongsu-dong. Dominik parked next to the van.

Upstairs, the apartment was spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Han River sunset.

"Okay, food," Ryujin said, opening a delivery app. "Pizza? Fried chicken? Tteokbokki?"

"How about I cook?"

The room went silent. Five pairs of eyes stared at Dominik. He was leaning against the kitchen island, looking very out of place in his racing driver physique.

"You cook?" Yeji asked, skeptical.

Dominik promised. "I lived alone in the UK for years. If I didn't cook, I starved."

He grabbed a notepad. "What do you want? Spicy? Mild? Allergies?"

Five minutes later, they had a menu: Mapo Tofu, Fish-Fragrant Shredded Pork, Tomato & Egg Stir-fry, Steamed Sea Bass, Garlic Broccoli.

"We need groceries," Dominik said.

"I'll go," Ryujin volunteered.

"I'll come too," Yeji said quickly.

Dominik stood up. "I'm coming. You can't carry all that."

Yeji grabbed a jacket from the rack. "It's cold out." She handed it to him. Their fingers brushed. A spark of static electricity snapped between them.

Yeji jumped. Dominik just smiled. "Shocking."

As the three of them left, Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yuna watched from the hallway.

"Did you see that?" Chaeryeong whispered, nudging Lia. "The static? The eye contact?"

"Totally," Lia nodded sagely. "Her lock screen used to be her cat. Now it's a racing helmet drawing. Suspicious."

The Supermarket

Dominik pushed the cart like he was driving—efficient lines, perfect cornering.

Ryujin raided the snack aisle. Yeji walked beside Dominik.

"Is this spicy enough?" she asked, holding up a bag of peppers.

"For me? Yes. For Ryujin? Probably not," Dominik laughed.

"How did you learn all these dishes?" Yeji asked quietly as he selected a sea bass.

"My family's cook taught me before I left for boarding school," Dominik explained. "When I was lonely in England, helps me calm down after races."

They returned to the apartment laden with bags.

Dominik tied on an apron Ryujin found. It was pink and had Hello Kitty on it.

One Chapter of slice of life just giving it a try was thinking it of making 3 chapters then decided for one if you guys want more let me or else I will go in same pace in regards to the story

"It fits perfectly," Ryujin deadpanned, taking a photo.

"Laugh all you want," Dominik said, tying the strings. "Just wait until you taste the tofu."

He shooed them out of the kitchen. "Out. Too many cooks."

Yeji tried to stay. "I can help wash the fish!"

"I've seen your cooking vlogs, Yeji," Dominik said, pointing the spatula at her. "You burn water. Out."

She pouted but left.

Gossip Time

The kitchen door closed. The sounds of chopping and sizzling began.

In the living room, the four members cornered their leader.

"Spill it," Yuna demanded, shaking Yeji's arm. "How did you meet? Was it love at first sight? Is he the one?"

"Stop!" Yeji laughed, blushing. "We met at a photoshoot. He's just a friend."

"Just a friend who flies from Europe to visit you?" Lia raised an eyebrow. "Just a friend who cooks a six-course meal for your members?"

"He's nice!" Yeji defended. "And lonely. He needed a break."

"He looks at you like you're the only person in the room," Chaeryeong sighed dreamily. "If it were me..."

Yeji narrowed her eyes. "If it were you, what?"

"Nothing, unnie!" Chaeryeong raised her hands in surrender.

Ryujin sniffed the air. "Forget the romance. Smell that?"

The aroma of garlic, chili oil, and frying pork wafted from the kitchen. It smelled incredible.

"Okay," Ryujin admitted. "He can stay."
