Yn's heart was pounding as they tracked Taehyung's location. Something felt off.
When they reached the Han River, their eyes widened at the scene before them.
Yn (trembling): "Taehyung… why are you standing there? Get down!"
Suho: "Yah! Taehyung, are you out of your mind?!"
Taehyung: "You guys should leave. This… is my choice."
Yn: "Taehyung, don't do this!"
Taehyung (smiling faintly): "I have nothing left… I just wanted to spend these last three months of my life with you, and I am grateful."
Suho: "Don't be stupid! Get down!"
Taehyung: "Just… leave me be."
Suho (pleading): "You love her, right? That day I asked you… love or friendship? You chose love. Then fight for it. Don't be a coward."
Taehyung: "I choose love… because I love both of you."
Yn (crying): "Please, get down. We can solve this!"
Taehyung: "Nothing can be solved. I just want peace… with my mother. I'll finally find peace."Taehyung (softly): "I'll watch over you from the sky. Whenever you miss me, just look at the stars… I will be one of them, yn I loved you, I loved you so much, but the thing is I can't have you, not in this life, never in this life, just don't forget me, live happily but please remember that there was someone who loved you too much, please don't forget me.... (don't change Taehyungs dialogues)
Suho (crying): "You idiot! Stop it!"
Taehyung (smiling faintly): "Yn… I really love you. Will you meet me in another life?"
Yn (through tears): "Yes… a thousand times yes… but please, don't do this!"
Taehyung (smiling peacefully): "That's all I wanted to hear."
yn: (breathing heavily) taehyung don't
Taehyung :(smiling) thank you for everything
And with that, he jumped.
yn: No taehyung I love you (she marched forward to catch him but it was too late)
Yn screamed, her heart shattering. She saw his smiling face disappear into the water.
(he whispered last time before closing his eyes)
taehyung : i love you too.....
Her knees buckled. Everything around her went numb.
she couldnt believe her eyes she wanted to wake up from this nightmare
911 arrived, diving in to save him—Suho had called them. There was still hope.
After a tense moment, he was pulled out of the water. CPR was performed, every effort made, they were trying to save him . Then the responders turned to Suho and Yn.
Unknown: "I'm sorry… he's no more."
Yn's tears fell uncontrollably
Yn: NO! This can't be
(she went to him)
as she cradled his cold hands. She kissed his forehead one last time.Yn: "Wake up, Taehyung… look, your Yn is here. Wake up…"
Yn: WAKE UP!
But he remained motionless, a serene smile on his face. Taehyung—the boy who had been so full of life—was now at peace.
Flashback
The boy lifted his helmet, and their eyes met. For a long moment, neither blinked.
Taehyung (sad smile): "She is beautiful… but I am thinking of moving on."
Yn: "Why? Why have you confessed?"
Taehyung (looking at her): "No… she already has a boyfriend."
Taehyung (grinning): "I can't help seeing such a gorgeous lady in front of me."
Yn: "KIM TAEHYUNG! Can you let me live in peace for once?"
Taehyung: "No. Annoying you is my full-time job." (smiles) "But don't worry… one day, I'll move on from you."
He leaned closer. Yn squeezed her eyes shut.
Taehyung (whispering in her ear): "Good night, Mrs. Kim."
Their hands touched, their faces close.
Taehyung: "Will you meet me… in another life?"
YN(smiling through tears): "Yes."
Taehyung: "Promise?"
Yn (linking pinkies): "Promise."
Later, while she chopped vegetables, he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Taehyung (whispering): "I'll miss you…"Flashback Ends
Yn's tears fell as she cupped his face.
Yn: "I'll miss you too."
After that incident, Yn didn't leave her room for seven months. Suho gave her space, knowing she needed it.
One evening:
Suho: "Yn… I know what happened. I've disturbed you… and honestly, myself too."
Yn: "Let's break up."
Suho (shocked): "What are you saying?"
Yn: "I never loved you. You were only my crush. Please leave me and focus on your life. Never try to approach me again."
Tears streamed down Suho's face, but Yn remained emotionless. She left.
At home, Suho broke things in his room.
Suho: "Everyone leaves me… every person I love… left me… I hate myself!"
His mother tried to console him.
Five Years Later
Yn had become a successful singer, just like Taehyung had dreamed. She wrote her first song, Rewrite the Stars, inspired by him. With tears in her eyes, she whispered to the sky:Yn: "Don't worry… I will fulfill your dreams, Taehyung."
she looked towards the sky smiling while her tears were falling
On stage she grabbed the mic and started singing
Yn:That you're my destiny...

The crowd cheered, but her eyes searched the sky.
She never married but adopted a little boy, loving him like her own son. She learned Suho had ended up in a mental asylum, and she felt pity for him.
Years passed. Yn grew old. Her son, now 28, found her one evening struggling to breathe.
Son: "Mom, are you okay?"
Yn (smiling weakly): "It's my time… Son. Goodbye, Taehyung… maybe in another life."
She took her last breath, whispering Taehyung's name. Her hands fell limp, and her son cried, heartbroken.
Not every love story ends with a happy ending.
