Chapter 96 - Chapter 93: A New Horizon

The sudden, violent onset of the Rainbow Mist caught Darian and his crew completely off guard, swallowing the Little Fish whole before anyone could react.

The moment the colorful fog enveloped the ship, Darian felt himself dragged into a massive, twisting temporal vortex. The gravitational forces spun his body like a centrifuge. Even with the enhanced, supernatural resilience of his silicone physiology, the multi-dimensional strain proved too much for his brain to process, and he blacked out into unconsciousness.

When Darian finally regained a fraction of his senses, he felt as though he were floating helplessly in a pitch-black, infinite void.

There was absolutely no concept of time in this space, nor any alternation of day and night. A mere microsecond felt like an eternity, and an eternity passed in a single moment. Darian drifted in the suffocating darkness for what felt like lifetimes before his enhanced perception vaguely picked up a tiny, flickering glimmer of light in the distance.

In this bizarre spatial void, physically moving one's limbs through normal mechanics was impossible; pure mental intent was the only variable that altered reality. Focusing his mind, Darian willed his body forward, pulling his consciousness through the vacuum directly toward that distant point of light.

A tranquil, pristine atmosphere permeated the deep primeval forest located just outside the bustling borders of Tanabata Town, deep within the Land of Fire.

THUMP!

A heavy object suddenly fell out of a jagged spatial rift that had materialized out of thin air, landing face-first onto the soft forest grass with a dull, heavy thud.

Completely exhausted from the reality-warping transit, Darian lay perfectly still in the dirt, letting his muscles relax completely. Even without opening his eyes, the rich fragrance of damp soil, the unfamiliar birdsong echoing through the canopy, and the solid weight of the ground beneath him confirmed that he had successfully broken out of that terrifying temporal void.

He didn't want to move a single inch; he simply wanted to lie on the soft grass and rest his aching muscles for a few hours. However, his stomach immediately began to rumble violently in furious protest, his accelerated metabolism demanding fuel.

'Are you kidding me?' Darian sighed heavily.

He opened his eyes, greeted not by the familiar blue ocean of the Grand Line, but by an ancient, towering primeval forest with trees that literally reached for the sky.

He propelled himself up into a sitting position, rubbing his stomach, which felt so empty it was practically digesting itself. He looked around the immediate clearing, his brow furrowing beneath his hair.

'What the hell actually happened to the ship? Where did Nami, Robin, and the others go?'

There was absolutely no sign of the Little Fish or his harem anywhere in the vicinity. Thinking back on the mechanics of the Rainbow Mist from his past-life memories, Darian rationalized that the anomaly likely just separated their spatial timelines. Given the raw combat strength of his women, they should be perfectly fine back in the One Piece world.

'Damn it, I'm absolutely starving. Never mind the logistics for now—I need to find a place to eat before I starve to death.'

Using the natural elasticity and snap of his silicone anatomy, Darian swung his arms and easily launched his body straight to the top of a massive oak tree. From his high vantage point, his sharp eyes quickly spotted the sprawling architectural outlines of a major town located just a short distance through the valley.

The moment Darian walked down the main street of the town, he realized something was fundamentally wrong with the local population: the people here were all shockingly short.

The adult men generally averaged around 1.6 meters tall, while the local women were even shorter. Having spent significant time in the One Piece universe—where massive human anomalies were the norm—and having grown physically imposing through his extensive Dual Cultivation, Darian now stood at a commanding 1.86 meters. His tall, athletic frame stood out from the crowd like a tower.

Furthermore, their choices in clothing were completely primitive compared to what he was used to. While Darian wasn't a fashion expert himself, his ship had been packed with women, and Nami had taken absolute, strict charge of his daily wardrobe. Right now, he was wearing a high-end white designer T-shirt, branded beach shorts, and modern flip-flops. Every piece of his clothing looked incredibly fashionable, high-quality, and modern.

And what about the locals?

Darian couldn't quite put his finger on the exact historical era, but the visual style resembled traditional, 1980s-era Japan. The citizens were almost exclusively dressed in traditional kimonos and unrefined robes, with very few modern outfits visible.

Not only was Darian assessing the populace, but the locals were also staring back at his massive, exotic figure with intense curiosity. Influenced by the passive allure of his enhanced Human Path physique, several of the local townswomen literally had their eyes sparkling with visible infatuation as they watched him walk past. Darian usually wore a mask when landing on unknown islands, but on the ship, surrounded by his women, he naturally went barefaced. Having arrived here so suddenly, he hadn't had time to conceal his features.

The surrounding wooden buildings were incredibly short and compact, resembling traditional Japanese style, making the overall atmosphere feel deeply cramped and oppressive to a man used to the open seas.

Worse, Darian's enhanced physical senses had become incredibly sharp, causing a chaotic, loud mess of overlapping background noises to flood his ears, which irritated his nerves. But his primary focus remained on his crushing hunger.

The rich, savory aroma of hot food suddenly wafted into his nose. Without bothering to be picky about the establishment, Darian followed the scent directly toward a busy izakaya sitting on the corner of the crowded street.

He glanced at the handwritten menu hanging on the wall, then at the busy chefs working behind the counter, instantly identifying the cuisine. It looked exactly like the traditional oden and grilled yakitori chicken skewers from his past life.

The more Darian looked at his surroundings, the weirder he felt.

'This is bizarre. Why does it feel like I've wandered directly into historical Japan? In the One Piece world, only Wano Country possesses this specific feudal art style... but even in Wano, the standard human biology isn't this short.'

Darian had absolutely no idea that because of the reality-warping spatial power of the Rainbow Mist, he had entirely crossed universes, traveling straight into the Naruto world.

'Whatever. I don't care where I am right now—let's eat first and figure out the rest later.'

Without saying a word to the staring patrons, Darian strode straight through the shop and claimed the only completely empty table in the back. As he sat down, he noticed the other customers actively avoiding his perimeter, huddling together at the opposite end of the bar. He didn't care; it was actually preferable, as he despised eating in cramped, crowded spaces.

"Boss!" Darian shouted, banging his fist on the wood. "Give me two hundred grilled chicken skewers immediately, and as many platters of oden as you can physically cook!"

Darian's modern attire and giant stature looked incredibly alien to the restaurant staff, but the owner could easily tell that the fabric of Darian's clothes was extraordinarily expensive and well-made. In the eyes of the master, Darian's arrogant temperament and striking looks could only belong to a wealthy noble or a traveling young master from a powerful clan.

"Right away, sir! I'll have the kitchen prepare it immediately!"

The chefs, who were already constantly busy, scrambled into a frantic blur of motion, not even taking the time to wipe the sweat from their brows to fill the massive order.

As for whether a single man could actually finish two hundred skewers of meat, nobody questioned it. In this world, powerful fighters and elite military operatives possessed massive energy reserves. Compared to the gluttonous monsters of the pirate world, local ninjas didn't eat quite as much, but a high-ranking shinobi could still easily consume a massive volume of food. As long as the customer paid their tab and didn't dine and dash, the owner would gladly let a wealthy patron empty out their entire kitchen stock.

Since the oden was already simmering in giant brass vats, a massive, steaming platter of the food was quickly placed in front of Darian.

At this point, Darian was starving to the brink of delirium, his eyes practically glowing green at the sight of the meat. He extended his arms with lightning speed, grabbing the food and stuffing his mouth full without caring about the blistering heat of the broth.

He sat there eating voraciously, completely oblivious to the disgusted or shocked stares of the patrons around him, his attention locked exclusively on the platters. Normally, Darian maintained a modicum of polite manners when dining around his women, but he had been floating in a temporal void without sustenance for God knows how long.

Taking full advantage of his silicone anatomy, Darian unhinged his jaw to an unbelievable, superhuman degree. He literally hoisted entire platters of boiling oden and poured the contents directly down his throat, chewing briefly a couple of times before swallowing the mass whole.

The waiter who was delivering the food had to run back and forth to keep up, but the kitchen's cooking speed was far too slow for Darian's predatory eating pace. Annoyed by the delay, Darian repeatedly slammed his fist onto the wooden table, shouting to urge them on.

"Hey, Boss! Are you trying to run a legitimate business here or what?! Hurry the hell up with the chicken!"

Darian's terrifying consumption speed became the chef's absolute worst nightmare. The restaurant owner broke into a frantic, cold sweat, repeatedly bowing and wiping his brow as he hurried to the table.

"Yes, my lord! Coming right away! Please forgive the delay!"

In the pirate world, loud, vulgar behavior from powerful fighters was a daily occurrence that merchants simply accepted. But in this structured, disciplined world, Darian's loud shouting completely monopolized the staff's attention, which quickly made some of the high-paying patrons in the private rooms incredibly unhappy.

"Boss! Where the hell is my wine?!"

A sharp, booming female voice suddenly cut through the air, completely drowning out Darian's shouting.

In Darian's experience, a man could easily judge a person's raw physical power just by listening to the volume and resonance of their voice. The moment that woman spoke, Darian's trained combat instincts picked up a massive, highly compressed wave of dangerous energy radiating from the private dining room.

Darian narrowed his eyes, shifting his attention from his food. In the pirate world, having someone loudly interrupt your meal was considered a direct provocation. He wanted to see who exactly had the balls to cross him.

Outside the private room's curtain, a quiet young woman dressed in a dark kimono (Shizune), who was currently cradling a small pink pet pig (Tonton) in her arms, was desperately trying to block a beautiful, mature blonde woman with long, wavy hair and an incredibly massive bust (Tsunade) from leaving the room.

"Lady Tsunade, you've clearly had far too much to drink today!" Shizune pleaded frantically. "You absolutely cannot order any more alcohol!"

"I'm not drunk!" Tsunade scoffed, her face heavily flushed with intoxication as she waved her hand dismissively. "Why shouldn't I drink more, Shizune?"

Shizune leaned close to Tsunade's ear, lowering her voice to a desperate, urgent whisper. "Lady Tsunade, we literally don't have a single coin left to pay the bill! If you buy another drop of sake, we'll be forced to sleep on the streets tonight!"

Unexpectedly, Tsunade, whose senses were completely blurred by the alcohol, took advantage of her assistant's momentary lapse in attention. She reached out, gripped Shizune by the chin, and violently pressed her lips directly against Shizune's mouth, silencing her protests with a sloppy, alcohol-soaked kiss.

Suck...

The young assistant was completely stunned by the sudden ambush. Her face turned a violent shade of red all the way to the roots of her neck, and imaginary steam began to rise rapidly from the top of her head.

The only thought spinning through Shizune's panicked mind was, 'Oh no... my first kiss is completely gone...!'

The moment Tsunade released her grip and saw her little follower's utterly broken, dazed expression, she burst into a loud, booming laugh of victory.

"My little Shizune is so cute! Hahaha! Waiter—bring another bottle! No, make it two bottles of wine!"

While Shizune was still trapped in a state of absolute mental paralysis over losing her first kiss, Tsunade cleverly intercepted the passing waiter, snatched two fresh bottles of sake from his tray, and happily retreated back into her booth to enjoy them.

By the time Shizune finally recovered from the sheer shock of the assault, it was already far too late; the alcohol was already being poured.

"Lady Tsunade! How could you do something so shameless?!" Shizune yelled, her face burning as she clutched Tonton tightly to her chest, desperately trying to seek justice for her stolen lips.

However, an assistant was an assistant. She had been subjected to Tsunade's chaotic, bullying behavior for years. Even though Tsunade's sexual boundaries were non-existent when drunk, Shizune was entirely helpless to stop her. She looked exactly like a small, bright red pufferfish, vividly denouncing her master's atrocities.

Perhaps feeling a little annoyed by the constant nagging while trying to drink, Tsunade reluctantly set down her sake bottle. She reached out, grabbed Shizune by the waist, and violently pulled the protesting girl straight into her broad, exposed bosom.

"No... wait... I can't... I can't breathe!" Shizune choked out, entirely incapacitated by the sudden attack.

Faced with the crushing weight of Tsunade's famous, massive breasts, Shizune thrashed about incessantly, her face buried completely within the deep cleavage as she gasped for oxygen.

"Do you finally admit you were wrong to nag me?" Tsunade grinned down at her, tightening her grip around the girl's ribs.

"Mmm... ugh... yes...!"

It wasn't until Shizune was completely defeated and broken by Tsunade's suffocating chest attack that the blonde woman finally released her with a satisfied smile.

This time, Shizune's face turned an even deeper shade of crimson. Even though she was subjected to Tsunade's intense physical oppression and bullying on a daily basis, her body simply couldn't adapt to having her face slammed into such massive breasts. She had protested the treatment hundreds of times, but the only result was receiving even more aggressive "affection" from her master.

At a very young age, Shizune had grasped a vital philosophy for surviving around the legendary Sannin: if you completely lack the physical power to resist, you can only silently endure the submission.
