Chapter 12 - Shatter

The fight was nuclear.

Elena screamed. Mia didn't deny anything—she just stood there, eyes hollow, taking every word like she deserved it.

"You stalked me. You broke up my relationship. You played God with my life!"

Mia's voice cracked. "I loved you before I even knew your voice. I couldn't breathe without you in my head. When Claire told me she was leaving you… I didn't stop her. I made sure she didn't come back."

Elena's chest heaved. "You're sick."

Mia stepped closer. "Yeah. I am. But you're wet right now, aren't you? Even knowing all of it."

Elena hated that she was right.

They collided like a car crash.

Clothes were torn off. Mia slammed Elena against the wall, fingers inside her before either of them could think—three at once, stretching, punishing. Elena cried out, nails raking Mia's back hard enough to draw blood.

"You hate me?" Mia snarled, fucking her brutally. "Then come hating me."

Elena did—shaking, squirting down Mia's wrist, sobbing Mia's name like a curse.

Mia dropped to her knees, shoved Elena's thighs apart, and ate her like she was trying to devour the betrayal. Tongue, teeth, fingers, relentless. Elena came again, then again, until she was shaking so hard she couldn't stand.

Then Elena took control.

She pushed Mia onto the bed, grabbed the thickest strap, buckled it on, and fucked Mia so hard the headboard cracked against the wall. Mia came screaming, tears on her face, begging Elena not to stop.

They didn't stop.

They fucked through the anger—degradation, praise, choking, biting, slapping—until both of them were bruised, hoarse, covered in each other's cum and sweat and tears.

At 4 a.m. they finally collapsed, tangled and sticky.

Mia's voice was barely a whisper. "I was going to tell you. After you chose me. After I knew you'd never leave."

Elena stared at the ceiling, chest aching.

"I don't know who you are anymore."

Mia's hand found hers in the dark. "I'm the woman who would burn the world down for you. Even if you hate me for it."

Elena didn't pull away.

But she didn't say I love you either.

The next morning Elena woke to an empty bed again.

This time there was no note.

Just a single text from Vera:

She's gone to the shop.

Come alone if you want the rest of the story.

Or come with her if you want to watch me take back what's mine.

Elena looked at the text for a long time.

Then she got dressed.
