CHAPTER - 3
The next day, she dropped the music box. It fell and stopped working.
Ayan picked it up carefully.
"I fix broken things," he said softly.
She looked at him for the first time. Her eyes were tired… like someone who had cried for years, not days.
"That one can't be fixed," she replied.
Ayan took it home anyway.
Inside the music box, he found a tiny folded note:
"Meet me here every day at 5. If I don't come, wait."
The date was three years old.
