Into the year 3194 at xx/xx, and into the west side of the world also called Terra Osido.
At the brink of dawn has started to risen in a small but big enough town called Loz Cavana, known for resisting the intense heat, and uses modern technology but modified by many of their inventors who live here. But all the citizens are starting their usual daily schedules working hard to help each other still thrive in this world. And in one of the houses are the Smiths, to a personal workshop in the garage, a young inventor by the name of Janice Rex. Smith with her bleached hair only the pony tail, and her side bangs while the rest is still brown, as well with her proper uniform to keep mess away from her clothes as well wearing her goggles protecting her purple eyes from the bright sparks. As she is working very hard to make her own inventions. But is seen struggling from overthinking on herself. Creating many inventions, and gadgets in her time and an intriguing thought that would help her hometown, but doesn't have the understanding of how will it work or what are the functions in her inventions. This makes Janice being very stressful, but soon she heard her door to her workshop open, she looked back to only see her father coming to her workshop to see her.
"Janice are you feeling okay", Janice look towards her father in a bit of disapproval.
"I'm okay papa, you don't need to check up on me, for every ten minutes, it just make you over protective that it"
"I apologize... but from what I can tell you are struggling, mind if I help?" Her father asking nicely.
With a bit of thought Janice soon came to her conclusion that she might need some guidance, even from her own father. "Alright fine papa come in".
Janice's father comes into her workshop to see what is she creating onto her own workbench. "So how's your left leg kiddo"
"It's fine papa, I've been trying to modify from my original leg" Janice's father gives a snicker as they both were not born with a left leg, wearing a prosthetic created by Janice's father for all their lives.
However Janice's father looks around and sees many both complete and incomplete inventions mostly from blueprints she made but some she's created but couldn't finish due to lack of features they contain.
"Are these all your problems" he asked.
"I know they are all horrible" she replied grabbing onto her hair in embarrassment.
"What do you mean some can be useful". Some of these inventions includes a robotic butler that has its own intelligence and it looks complete but is missing some components inside its structure, and is programmed to follow any order especially to its master. Next a glow in the dark gloves, a digital pocket to store money, portable air conditioners. And the list of inventions keeps going from inventions that look to be helpful to the world, and some just for personal uses. "Okay so some of your ideas are not good"
Janice is starting to lose confidence in her passion despite being the daughter of a great inventor Xander Smith, which is also the name of her father. "Hey, Janice it doesn't matter whether your invention works or not, if you haven't tested it"
Hearing those words from her father, this gave Janice a new spark of imagination. If Janice hasn't tested any of her inventions then how will they function without proper testing.
"Oh my scrap your right, papa where's Screeny"
"Your litter brother is hanging around with Gyro, they're probably in the kitchen". Janice hugs her father then begins to walk out of her workshop also thanking her father for giving her new ideas to test out with her brother.
But when Janice leaves her workshop, her father sees the mess she made with her many incomplete inventions and crumpled blueprints on the ground "oh, dear daughter, still reminding me, of your dear mother" as he laughs to himself and starts cleaning Janice's workshop, putting all the tools back onto the rack, then picking up all the incomplete inventions toward the side of the wall away from Janice's desk and may had made some improvements on both Janice's blueprint and her inventions but it was only a few small tinkers with in the whole structure of Janice's inventions before leaving that he need be working upon his own secret project.
Janice soon make her way from her workshop into the living room then towards the kitchen to see her brother Screeny Smith, he was built by Xander Smith when Janice was only five years old, and with his normal robotic body as well as his head being that of a tv screen, but still able to function right he mostly like to watch many channels with his family. And she sees him talking to Gyro a giant automaton who is made to be their protector. As Screeny and Gyro were trying how to make the perfect omelet and attempt to make but failed again and again.
"Dang it I guess we over cooked it" Gyro grunts at Screeny "so how much salt does need to get the perfect season?" Gyro starts speaking in grunts and specific language that only the smiths can understand.
"Hmm interesting I'll try that"
"Hey bro, I need your help" Janice greeting her brother,
"What is it this time, I am trying to make an omelet here" they both began to cook again, but Janice saw the omelet that her brother is trying to replicate.
"Isn't that the same omelet you saw on the same channel? And I thought you can't eat food"
"Well yes, even though me and Gyro can't eat human food like you can, I still want to cook it"
"But can you help me with something" Screeny gets suspiciously by how her sister is feeling but sees what she is holding and knows exactly what she's planning.
"Are all those your inventions by any chance" Screeny pointing at the box of inventions.
"Yep you know it" she admitted it.
Considering Screeny has nothing better to do than cooking an omelet he sighs and agrees to what Janice is about to test "alright just follow me, I know the perfect spot to test out how my inventions will work".
They both get ready to head outside Janice putting on her trusty brown zip vest and Screeny adding extra coolant into his system as well as a jacket. Then they go toward the location that Janice can test her invention while heading to the destination, they first go for a bit of sightseeing in their hometown buying some drinks along the way. Janice and Screeny made towards the locations that Janice wanted to go near outside the gates of Loz Cavana is where Janice will start testing safety where she can't harm anyone.
Janice's first invention to test is an automatic Ai hover carrier which should follow the users every movement "do you think the ai is capable to follow your movement sis" Screeny asked.
"Why you say that? Are you jealous that it might have a better ai than you"
"Hey!" Janice starts to snicker to herself teasing her brother, then starts her first invention.
Pressing a button on the carrier, and once Janice activate her invention she starts stepping away to hope it would follow her direction, it begins to follow the same path Janice took. However halfway through the path it starts to malfunction and breakdown falling to the ground.
"Hey sis what happened?" Screeny asked observing the broken invention.
Janice inspects the inside of the carrier and sees what's broken "I guess its power core must have burnt up"
"That what happens when you don't have a coolant system sis. The town heat is normal"
"Ugh, whatever lets move on to our next test".
The next invention is a self repairer cylinder, if a machine's limb gets damaged then insert one of the limbs arm or leg though the hole in the cylinder and let it do the repair "so how would we start?"
Before Screeny could ask more, Janice pull out a damaged robot arm but Screeny recognize the arm.
"Hey isn't that my old arm"
"maybe..."
"What do you mean, maybe, I'm just asking so is it?!"
Janice ignoring her brother's question she then inserted the robot arm though the cylinder and it starts to repair the broken arm. But firstly it needs to slowly identifies the structure of the arm and how broken it is, then tools and grabbers appears making the repairs it went all smoothly until it stopped suddenly.
"What, I don't understand it was working perfectly?" The two quickly inspects the invention and sees wires tangled inside the machine.
"Hm, maybe that's why father had to replace my arm" Screeny's old arm had so many wires within his arm that it is easy to get his joints locked up. It normally takes hours to untangle all his wires it soon became more frustrating for their father that he was forced to replace Screeny's arm during maintenance.
To the next invention that Janice personally made for her family was a robotic butler that would have its own intelligence, as Janice was about to activate the butler her brother asked a question.
"Hey sis are you sure about this?" Screeny asked nervously about the one looking more like an actual automaton.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean if this one's going to have the same intelligence as the hover carrier. Then what about its power core is it going to get overheated again"
"Okay, you're probably right, we should test the butler another time". Soon Janice and Screeny started to test many invention created by Janice, and some manages to work perfectly.
However overtime with only a few minutes being active it starts to malfunction some broke down completely due to lack of interior design missing components or lack of energy, and some making an explosion. But thankfully they didn't come to any injuries during all these tests. Soon hours has passed and the sun soon to dim but testing inventions was still on Janice's mind hoping that one of her creation would survive and not malfunction but to no avail and deprivation had caught up to them.
"Hey sis maybe we should call it a day"
"come on Screeny just one more test"
"Janice we've been doing this for five hours straight and I think my battery is running low"
Janice sighs in a bit of disappointment "ah fine, but we have to try another time. I need to tinker with my inventions for a while"
They both began to pack up what remains for some of her inventions that still work but barely and needs work on. While there are some broken equipment that were unfortunately harm by malfunctioning inventions then heading back home for Janice needing to improve upon her mistakes to create a better invention.
